Merlin At Hogwarts

This is a crossover fanfiction of BBC's Merlin and J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. This has nothing to do with my other fanfiction that I am rewriting. It is just something that I've decided to do upon request of my sister and myself.

The author doesn't own any characters owned by the distinguished franchises that do own characters. However, the original characters and story line do belong to the author. No money or profit will or is intended to be made on this story. Thank you.**

12. How Many Tears Wasted On You?

Draco ran after her, watching as she neared the edge of the Tower. He knew that with. Her balance, things might not turn out the best way possible for her.

And he was right, she slipped on the edge of the Tower.

She screamed, and her magic somehow rushed through him and he was suddenly at her side, grabbing her, pulling her into his chest and spinning them away from the death trap and slammed them harshly on to the ground.

She was crying, the warm salty tears mixing with cool fresh water of the rain pouring down on them.

"Hermione?" He called out over the rush of the rain and wind.

~M. A. H.~

"Hermione?" A strong, velvety voice called out to her in worry.

She couldn't reply. She was too busy crying all over the person that saved her.

"HERMIONE!!" The voice boomed, coated in concern.

She finally choked back her sobs and forced out a cracked, "Get Arthur..."

"Who? I don't know of any Arthur's here?" The voice said with an amused chuckle.

She realised she needed to say his current name, if this person was not part of the Prophecy. "Get me Draco!" She snapped with anger flickering through her, her magic crackling all around her.

"I'm here, my love." The voice said, pulling her closer into a tight hug.

She pulled away, trying to get a good look at him. Her tears finally dried a few seconds later and it was indeed her Draco holding her with that stupid Malfoy Smirk playing against his lips.

She broke down once again and held him close to her, crying as she remembered the many times that he'd saved her in the past.

The times she'd saved him.

The time that he banished her for what she did.

The time that they had made up for what she thought was for real, and then having her heart ripped out of her again.

But then, then he took her back. Back as his wife. Solidifying their endless love for each other.

And she had never been happier in all her years. Except maybe now.

Now they had found each other again. Now they were together. Now she didn't have to hide those--what she once thought of as evil--feelings from her friends, her family, the school.

She kissed him, kissed him chastely.

She knew him. Her lips knew his lips. He knew her. His lips knew her lips.

They were one again.

One body.

One mind.

One soul.

Their magic intertwined together, they were one magical being now.

She was happy.

And then the newest, most painful memories of all the things that Draco Malfoy had done to her cane rushing back into the forefront of her mind.

And the pain was banished from her body. Their everlasting love was stronger than anything they'd ever come across.

But her pain had caused more tears. And she pushed him off of her, and pulled back from him.

"Mione? Mione, what's wrong?" Draco asked, coming closer to her and trying to pull her hands away from her face.

"Nothing. N...nothing. At...allll." She stammered.

"Yes. There is. Now, tell me, my dear."

"It's just all those times you've tormented me came back. And the pain. And the tears. But they're not painful anymore. I think this is the last time I'll cry because you did something heartless to me, love."

Draco was taken aback, surprised at that confession. "I'm sorry. For everything." He whispered genuinely.

She nodded her head.

"WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT STAYING AWAY FROM MY BLOODY SISTER?!" Harry roared, running over to them.

"That she needed time, you and Merlin both." Draco growled.

"Then GET AWAY!" Harry snapped, grabbing Hermione and pulling her up from the ground.

"Shut it, cabbage brain." A new, more assertive voice said with a chuckle.

Hermione looked up. "Harry... Are you...?"

Harry smiled at her. "Yes, Mione. You seem to be the last one to realise their story."

"Oh..." She blushed in embarrassment.

"Don't worry about it, Hermione. I don't blame you. He's a bit of a blunderer and a full out cabbage head if you ask me. I certainly wouldn't want to be yoked to him for life. Or multiples of them to boot!" Merlin laughed lightly.

"Merlin!" Hermione shrieked, running at her old friend and throwing her arms around him.

"Hey, Hermy." He smirked.

She glowered at him. "It's Her. Mi. Oh. Nee! Or Mi. Oh. Nee!" She snapped at him.

"Of course. How silly of me to not know that."

She giggled and pulled away to leave with Harry. "Bye!" She called.

Harry ran after her, drowning in her things.

Merlin looked at Draco with his eyebrows raised. "Really?"

"Sorry... I was worried."

"Why was she crying?"

"At first, it was because she almost died. And just now because all of the painful things that I had ever done to her came rushing back as we joined our love again with a kiss. She said that the memories were no longer painful. But... I don't know. She was practically being tortured."

Merlin glared at him. He knew that this Arthur had to have done something to this Guinevere because they should have fallen instantly in love with each other had he not.

"I wonder then, how many tears that wonderful woman has wasted on you." He snapped, eyes glowing gold in his anger from the things in the past.

Draco stiffened. He hadn't thought of that. "Too many times have I hurt her. Too many times she probably has cried." He murmured.

Merlin knew that Draco was going to do everything that he could to make it up to Hermione.

He also knew, that no matter what he did, she'd already forgave him just a few moments ago.

Their kiss had proven that.
