Merlin At Hogwarts

This is a crossover fanfiction of BBC's Merlin and J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. This has nothing to do with my other fanfiction that I am rewriting. It is just something that I've decided to do upon request of my sister and myself.

11. Guinevere Is Back

Hermione was singing. And it was the best thing that Draco had ever heard.

Yes, he secretly ran out of the Feast, leaving a magical projection of his brooding self.

He was silently congratulating himself as he sneaked into the shadows of the Astronomy Tower and watched as Hermione removed multiple layers of her clothing, leaving her looking at ease with some more casual clothes on.

And then she was walking out into the rain, moving with grace, her magic was surrounding her, keeping her from his view.

And then the sweet, soft sound of her singing reached his ears.

~M. A. H.~

Hermione floated up into the air just a little but and started to sing. Her heart was soaring with happiness.

And she saw her magic raise above her instead of surrounding her, and bursting out in light, igniting the world around her in light.

She stopped her melody and started to dance in circles, feet moving in complicated manners, arms spread wide, and hair flying all around her face, turning the moment into a peaceful one.

She was laughing now. The musical sound was flying out of her like magic. And she started to sing again, a song that she knew only all to well. A Muggle song. By Adele.

"I let it fall, my heart. And as it fell, you rose to claim it. It was dark and I was over, until you kissed my lips and you saved me."

Her dancing slowed to match the rhythm of the song. And she somehow ended up at her things again. She turned back to dance towards the other side.

Her drying charm had worn off by now, but she hadn't noticed. She was soaked to the bone, her hair weighed down and clinging to her back, her maroon blouse sticking to her, her skirt cloning to her legs, but she didn't care. She was dancing and the water was coming off her in circles.

"My hands, they're strong. But my knees were far too weak. To stand in your arms, without falling to your feet."

She waltzed slowly in a steady circle. "But there's a side of you that I never knew, never knew. All the things you'd say, they were never true, never true. And the games you play, you would always win, always win."

The tempo picked up during the chorus. And she started to dance faster, she went . She was radiating magic and she was dancing faster and faster.

"But I set fire to the rain! Watched it pour as I touched your face. Let it burn while I cry, 'cause I heard it screaming out your name. Your naammmeee!!" As she finished, she neared the edge, and hadn't even paid attention.

Her foot slipped for the first time in the water and she was falling. She screamed.

**This chapter features part of the lyrics of the song "Set Fire to the Rain" preformed by Adele.**
