4. Softer is not good.

I slipped out of the bathroom and into my closet, walking into my closet. Hm...What should I wear? Suddenly, a bing echoed through my room. I walked out to find my phone with a new massage. I open iMessage and find a text from my sister, Mackie. Well not really she's like a sister. "We're having a girl's day, get dressed I'll be over in like 10 minutes! :)" I smiled as my fingers moved swiftly across the keys. "Alright, babe!" I throw my phone on my bed and ran into my closet. I pulled on a grey sweatshirt with black sparkles that made a Panda, a really nice shade of neon blue I guess you could call it, black Chuck Taylor All-Star, and I left my hair out which was naturally curly. Sometimes. It could be really stupid sometimes. Bipolar, is what Harry would describe it as. I brushed my hair so it wasn't tangled. I smiled at my reflection, pleased . I grabbed my white iPhone and headed out and down the stairs. It was awfully quiet. Heck with it. No one will I know I left. I walked in the kitchen, thirsty. I was surprised to see Niall there scrolling through his phone and eating cereal. "Hey Ni." I smiled giving him a nickname. He looked up and smiled. "Hey babe." He winked. I felt a blush creep on my cheeks. I moved swiftly to the fridge, hoping he didn't see the blush. He was silent. Good, he didn't see it. I grabbed a water bottle. I turned around to find Niall staring at me. "What?" I ask. "Why are you such a rebel?" He asks, his head cocked at angle. I smiled, it was adorable at how he looked. "Cause it's fun." I smile. "How?" He questioned, smiling. I smiled. Wait am I going soft? STOP! "It just is." I say somewhat stronger than I said before, losing my soft tone. "You don't have to act like that in front of me." He mumbles, turning around. "What's that supposed to mean?" I shot back. He sighed turning around. I stared him down, he didn't look one bit intimidated. "You don't have to act like your all tough when you're not. You're just building up your walls. Not letting anyone in. I can't hurt you." He frowns, getting up and walking over to me. I looked him in his eyes. He couldn't be serious. "I'm serious." He said aloud. I gulped, he was dangerously close. I guess he's right but...I mean he doesn't look like he can hurt me. "I promise." He whispers. I open my mouth to say something. "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!" A voice so deep it could only belong to my beloved brother Harry. I pushed Niall away quickly. He stumbled and regained his balance. The doorbell rang. "Well, that's my ride. Gotta go!" I say, running out. I bump into someone and fall to the ground. "Ouch." I mumble. "Oh sorry love!" A Yorkshire accent apologizes. Louis. "Don't worry about it." I smile. He returns a smile and I feel my body relax. Holy shit I am going soft. "Gotta go!" I yell, running out before I bump into another one of the boys. I can't afford to get any softer. I ran out and into Mackie's car. "What took you so long?" She complained, backing out of the driveway. "It's a long story."
