51. It's not fair

Mackie's POV

We walked out of security, our suitcases dragging behind us. I looked around as we walked and I saw girls around us giggling. Ugh, this is what I hate. Why can't I just hang out with my best friend without all this. Chance stopped. I turned around to find her taking pictures with fans. I rolled my eyes. "Chance. CHANCE!" I screamed her name. She looked up. "I'm gonna call us a taxi." She nodded and I walked off. I needed space from all of...this. I was about to walk out the door when I saw them. The crowd, the paparazzi, the police. I took it all in. How are we gonna go anywhere when this follows us around. I think Chance was right when we should go home. I took three deep breaths. Don't freak out. I dialed the taxi number I saw on the wall.

Chance's POV

I smiled at the girls and signed a few things as more girls came and a few left. "So, what brings you to ATL?" A blonde girl asks. I look up at her, then back down at the shirt I was signing. "Uh, it's all my best friend Mackie actually, she wanted us to go on holiday and do the color run down here." Some squealed as more ran over. A little girl with brown hair, blue eye, her two front teeth missing smiled up at me, she was maybe five. She held onto another girl's hand. The girl looked a lot like her, blue eyes, long brown hair, small body. "Hello." I smiled at them. The little girl jumped up and down. "Um, could you sign a few things?" I nod and sign her shirt and phone. We take a few pictures. "Uh, is it true that you and Niall are dating?" My smile fades remembering what happened on the flight. I quickly cover it up with a fake smile. "Yeah, we are." All the girls around me squeal. I wanted to leave now. "It's been great to meet you girls , but I gotta go now." I wave to them as they scream goodbye and I love you to me.

"Took you long enough." Mackie rolls her eyes. "What's got you in such a bad mood?" She rolls her eyes. "Like you don't know. Have you seen outside?" I sigh, walking to the door. Screams erupt. I groan. As if I didn't have enough problems. Mackie checked her iPhone. "The taxi is here." She sticks out her hand. I stare at it. "I'm scared." I giggle and hold it. I found it hard to believe that the fearless Mackie was scared of a little crowd.

We walked out the automatic doors and we were hit with screams. People grabbed at my clothes, my hair, Flashes of cameras go off. A policeman stand behind us and another in front. They paved a route for us to our taxi. The driver, grabbed our bags and we hopped in. A pap knocked on our window. I turned to Mackie. She shrugged. I rolled down the window. A camera flash blinded me. "Chance are you and Niall dating?!" He screamed. I nod. I couldn't form words right now. "Chance how's Harry?!" Another one shouts. I give a simple thumbs up as the driver hops in. "Bye now." I wave and wind up the window as we drive off.

I unlocked my iPhone and opened my contacts. I called Harry. It rang a few times with no answer. On the fifth ring he picked up.

"Chance! You landed right?" I laughed. "Yeah, I did. How's everyone at home?" I ask. It felt good to talk to Harry. Just listening to his voice relaxed me. "They're great. Except Niall. He just dragging himself around the house." I frowned. I cared for Niall, it just didn't make sense if I couldn't trust him. "Oh, that's too bad. Harry can you do me a favor?" I ask. "What's that?" "Cuddle Niall for me." I request. "Alright, I'll try to compare to you, but I doubt I can." I laugh. "Hey, you'd make him really happy, if you talked to him now. Actually he just walked down the stairs." I began to panic. I didn't want to speak to Niall. At least, not yet. "Actually I gotta go. Love you." I sent a kiss through the phone and hung up before he could finish his sentence.

"You're gonna break up with Niall aren't you?"

Harry's POV

Niall stared at me confused, as I stared at my phone confused. What was up with Chance? She doesn't usually act that weird. "Who was it?" Niall croaked. "Chance. Ni come here." He dragged his feet across the floor sitting down beside me. "Yeah?" I wrapped my arms around him. "Harry what are you doing?" "I'm trying to give you a cuddle like Chance told me to." I wrapped my long longs around his waist, attached to his side. He placed his hand on my arm. "That's sweet." He cracks a small smile. "Is that a smile I see?" He chuckles.

Louis runs down the stairs tears running down his face, his eyes red, he held his MacBook Pro in his hands. "Lou, what's wrong?" He stayed silent and walked over to the couch. He placed the laptop on the table and Niall and I leaned forward. "That." He points at the screen. At first I was confused. It was hate. But I realized the pattern, they all were directed to Chance, about Niall and her, or just how plain 'ugly' or 'yuck' she is. They disgusted me. "Louis how'd you find out about this?" I look up at him. "I saw it on Chance's phone before she left. I looked more into it, after." I sighed. Niall hid his head in my neck. "It's not fair Harry. Why can't they just let me be happy?" "I don't know Niall." I kissed the top of his head. I saw Louis type something on his iPhone away from us. "What are you doing mate?" He puts his finger up to silence me. I shut my mouth as Niall continues to cry. My phone vibrates. I take one arm from Niall and pull out my iPhone. A notification from Twitter. I opened it, and realized Louis had sent out a tweet.

"You guys are terrible. Hating on us is one thing but to hate on someone as great as @ChanceStyles is unacceptable. You disgust me. Poor Niall is crying his eyes out."

It came attached with a small video. I wasn't aware you could tweet videos. But I pressed play. You could hear Niall's sobs and you heard our conversation.

"Harry it isn't fair. Why can't they just let me be happy."

"I don't know Niall."

The video ended.

"Louis you can't ju-"He cut me off. "If they won't stop when someone defends her, then I'll guilt them into it." With that he got up grabbing his Mac and walked up the stairs. This is not gonna go down well with Management.
