Still Mine

What if someone said something to you, trying to discourage you from following your dreams. Would you give up on that dream? Or would you follow that dream and prove them wrong. What if the person who tired to discourage you came to an event of your dream that is now reality and tried to win you back?

My name is Olivia Wilson, and I know what I'd do.

Chapter 94

Harry’s POV

His words rang through my head ‘Do you know how much trouble you are in?’ the words made me even more nervous than I already was. I respond just by simply nodding, not sure of what else to say or do.

“Do you know why you are in trouble?” he asked.

“Obviously,” I scoffed quickly under my breath.

“Excuse me what did you say? I didn’t quite catch that,” he said with a hint of sarcasm to his voice, he heard what I’d said; he’s now just taunting me with it. I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes at him, and just deal with him for the time being.

“I said yes,” I paused, “I know why I’m in trouble,” I finished my statement.

“Good, but just to make sure lets go over everything to catch everyone up to speed on what’s going on,” he said.

I just nodded in agreement because that was usually just the best thing to do and not argue.

“Lets start with event of the first reason you are in trouble,” he suggested.

My manager began by explaining when Liv first came into town on her tour. He continued on about the stunt they came up with and how Louis was against it, and I just wasn’t sure what I thought about it the idea of the stunt. He continued to carry on with the telling of the whole ordeal, something that I think is a waste of time though. Everyone in her already knew what happened, they were here in the room, and I especially know what happened because I lived it, and sometimes relive in my head and wish I would’ve said something else, but I had been too confused to really have thought of what to say.

“Okay, now to what you’ve done wrong Harry,” I cringed a bit at us use of words. ‘What I’ve done wrong?’ I purposely try to mess up, it just happened and I wasn’t in any control of it because I was at one of these stupid meetings.

If I hadn’t gone to that meeting that day like I wanted, she probably wouldn’t have figured out. I soon stopped complaining in my head enough so I could hear what he is going to say next.

“Harry you had specific rules not to let anybody know about this, excluding Louis,” he began.

“I didn’t even tell her, Louis did,” I protested, a bit guilty for ratting him out that he’d told her, but I was already in enough trouble for other things.

“You should’ve stopped him,” he told me.

“I couldn’t!” I said throwing my arms out in front of me. “I was at one of your stupid meetings that were pointless to have almost every two days,” I shouted, and by the end of my sentence I was standing up from my chair.

“Calm down Harry, just sit back down and we’ll talk through this,” he said, trying to calm me and prevent me from losing my temper.

“You should’ve stopped Louis from telling her, it was your job to prevent Liv from finding out,” he told me.

I almost lost it, I just told him way I couldn’t stop him.

“He told her when I wasn’t there,” I tried to say as calmly as I could, “It was his job to help me not have her find out, and he told her,”

“And he told her about everything when you were at a meeting with us?” he asked.

“Yes, that is what I just said. That’s way you shouldn’t call me in for meetings every two days, you’ve should’ve done it had the end of the week so I would’ve had more things to tell you,” I said, still trying to be calm and polite being I’d rather not add another thing to the list of reasons I’m in trouble.

“So is there anything else you would like to say in topic of this first reason you are in trouble?” he asked me, and I shook my head no.

“Okay, good,” he said.

“Now on to the next event,”

“Are you not going to punish me or anything then?” I asked, trying to hide the hopefulness in my voice.

“We will discuss punishment after we are through talking about everything you’ve done,” he said. I sighed but agreed anyway as I sat back in my chair and began messing with my hands.

Liv’s POV

After I had been told by Harry that I needed to go, I picked up my purse and began to walk away. I was pretty upset, but I gave him a smile and told him ‘good luck’ anyway. I knew Harry didn’t want me to go back down to he lobby, but his management said I had to. I just wish one of them would’ve told instead of Harry, because hearing him tell me to leave, even if her didn’t want to do it, hurt a bit. I guess that was the point of having him come out and tell me to go down stairs, instead of one of the managers. I probably would’ve just ignored one of the managers and just rolled my eyes at them, and I think they sensed that would happen, and they knew that I’d listen to Harry.

I just continued to slowly walk down the hallway, not seeing the need in getting to the elevator quickly. I soon reached the area where Harry had turned earlier when we were walking here, so I made that turn and was down walking down the next hallway to the elevators. I walked a little more ways down until I eventually reached the elevators. I pressed one of the buttons to go down and waited for it to arrive. I’ve been riding in my apartment elevator so much that it’s nice to have a change of elevators for once. This one was much nicer than the one at my apartments. Probably because these is a much more high-class work office building. The whole building seems to be decorated with dark blues and greys while my apartment had more of a modern vintage theme with dark reds and gold’s.

I rolled my eyes at myself for my meaningless thoughts, but I really had nothing else to think about. The one thing that kept playing on my mind is what I don’t want to think about, but its hard not to think about it. I’m just worried about Harry, I tried not to show that I was worried about him when he was around because I knew it would make him even more nervous if he knew that I was almost as worried as he was. It was better for me just to build him up and tell him there’s nothing to worry about and give him more confidence about attending the meeting. The elevator soon arrived, and I stepped in and looked through what seemed like an endless panel of buttons until I finally found the one marked for the lobby. I pressed it and then waited for the elevator to arrive in the lobby once it started moving.

On my way down, the elevator stopped at one of the floors, in a big building like this, I had expected it to stop for someone to get on. I was surprised when we didn’t stop on the way up when I was with Harry. After the elevator stopped, the doors opened and a man in a dark suit holding a briefcase stepped in. He gave me a nod and a small smile as he checked to see what button was pressed and once he saw it was the one for the lobby, he walked to the other side of the elevator.

“How are you?” he asked me once the elevator started moving down again.

“I’m fine, you?” I asked.

“Good, thank you,” he replied.

I just nodded and just looked down at the carpet of the elevator.

“So what brings you here?” he asked.

“My um boyfriend has a meeting,” the sentence sounded weird coming out of my mouth considering for the longest time now I hadn’t even been considering Harry a friend.

“Ah okay, I’m just going on a lunch break,” he told me. I just nodded as I’ve been doing a lot, just hoping to end the conversation. He seemed nice, but I just wasn’t in the mood for talking right now.

The elevator finally arrived down at the lobby, and I quickly walked off.
