Chapter 89

Liv’s POV

“Hey guys,” Harry said casually as he walked up to the table.

He pulled out empty chair at the table and motion for me to sit down, and then he grabbed a chair from a vacant table and moved it over to the table.

“Hey Harry,” Niall dragged out.

“Hey,” Harry said as he sat down in the chair he just moved for himself.

“Hey Liv,” Zayn said in the same dragged out, girlish tone as Niall.

“Hey,” I awkwardly said back.

“We were planning to invite you, but you know we just figured you were busy,” Liam explained to Harry mostly.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” Harry said.

“Pretty convenient that you both came here the same time we did then,” Niall said to us, and we both nodded.

The six of us continued to talk for awhile longer, though it mostly being the guys talking and me looking at the menu.

The boys talking was soon interrupted by a waiter coming by and asking Harry and I what we wanted to drink, since the rest of the guys already had their drinks. Harry and I both ordered water, and then the waiter walked off telling us he’d be right back.

When the waiter came back with our water, he placed the two glasses in front of me and Harry and then took all of our orders. I ended up just ordering the salmon while Harry ordered some pasta, but I couldn’t remember the name of it considering I’d never heard of it before. Once the waiter had the rest of the boy’s orders written down, he again told us he would be right back with our order, and then walked off into the kitchen I presume. Then of course the boys then continued talking about random things that I don’t see their need to talk about, but it entertains them so I guess that’s all that really matters to them.

Harry’s POV

The boys and I were basically talking about random things as we waited for our food to arrive. I tried to include Liv in most of our conversations, but she just seemed pretty uninterested. I can’t say I blame her though, our conversations really had no point to them. She did take part in most of our topic of conversations though. She just paid more attention to her menu after awhile. I was pretty thankful though that the boys didn’t try to bring up the topic of us getting back together I guess it was. When we first arrived they hinted at it, and I’d already got enough of them gushing over it that it might me a bit embarrassing now that Liv is here too.

Once our talking died down a bit, my worry was then brought into reality once there was a loss of topic for us to talk about.

“So, I heard you two are back together,” Niall said wiggled his eyebrows with a big grin on his face.

“I heard that as well,” Zayn smiled.

“I’m aware,” I told them, considering I basically texted all of them that.

I took a sip of water as I listened to them now just talk to Liv mostly for awhile. Her cheeks were bright red as they talked to her about me, and I couldn’t help but smile.

As they all continued talking, Louis, who was the only one besides me not really participating in the conversation, tried to get me attention.

“Hey Harry,” he said quietly.

“Yeah?” I said and turned to look at him.

“Can I talk to you for a minute?” he asked me.

“Yeah, sure,” I said, and something about the tone of his voice worried me.

Louis got up from the table, and motioned for me to get up and follow him. “Um, we’ll be right back,” I told Liv and guys sitting at the table. They all just shrugged and said okay, but then of course as I started walking away, one of them had to make an obnoxious comment. “They’re like two little gossip girls going to the bathroom together,” Liam said, and everyone laughed as I just rolled my eyes at them and continued to follow Louis.

“So what do you need to tell me?” I asked Louis once we stopped walking.

“Well, I got a call from management yesterday,” he began, and I now knew why he seemed worried.

“They want to meet with you,” he told me.

“Why didn’t they just call me?” I asked.

“I don’t know, I guess they thought they had a better chance of me picking up their call than they did with you,” he suggested.

“True,” I said.

“So why do they want a meeting with me?” I asked, trying to keep as calm as I could even though I was pretty much freaking out inside.

If they want a meeting with me, then they obviously know that Liv figured out what happened. That also means that the word about the car accident has got out, and they’re going to want some information on that. I wasn’t sure if they knew about the drinking part or not. I’m hoping that if this does, or did make its way to the tabloids that nobody knows about the drinking part. I’d get so much hate and would never be able to live it down, no matter what I did someone would always be talking about it, and I would always be somewhat defined by that.

“I’m not sure, probably just to talk to you about recent events,” he said, not saying the obvious reason why.

“Do you think they know about Liv finding out?” I asked him.

“Most likely,” he said.

“How do you think they found out?” I asked.

“Well a few days after Liv found out about the stunt, I might’ve said something to them about it,” he said hesitantly.

“I’m sorry, I was really angry with you,” he defended himself.

“Why do you think they are just now wanting to meet with me?” I asked.

“They probably had to figure out what all they needed to get across with you,” he explained.

“They also were probably waiting to see if anything about you got into the tabloids. So they are probably going to talk to you about Liam and Liv, and then probably the car accident too,” Louis told me.

“They know about the car accident?” I asked.

“Well they were obviously informed about it,” he said.

“That makes sense,” I said and ran a hand through my hair.

“When do they want to meet with me?” I asked Louis.

“Sometime tonight to tomorrow. They told me to contact them when I’ve talked to you, so they’ll probably send you a text sooner or later,” Louis told me.

“Okay,” I sighed.

“Well I guess we should get back to the table now, our food should be out soon,” Louis said, and then we both walked back to the table where everyone was.
