Still Mine

What if someone said something to you, trying to discourage you from following your dreams. Would you give up on that dream? Or would you follow that dream and prove them wrong. What if the person who tired to discourage you came to an event of your dream that is now reality and tried to win you back?

My name is Olivia Wilson, and I know what I'd do.

Chapter 64

Liv’s POV

I hope Niall isn’t too angry with me. I didn’t mean to make him upset, but those things just needed to be said. I had tried to tell him this during the first few days that I arrived here, but he just wasn’t listening to me. I was tempted to call him back or text him, but I decided just not to mess with this situation right now. He might be upset or angry and probably needs to calm down for a while and think things over before I try to contact him again.

I picked up my scone that I had set on top of the small bag, and began to finish eating it. Once it was gone, I grabbed my cup of coffee and finished that up too. I threw away the bag and the cup and then flopped down on my couch. I had no clue what to do for the rest of the day. I really had no one to hang out with, because the people here I usually do stuff with are either mad at me, or they’re a jerk that pulls publicity stunts. I pondered over maybe calling one of the others boys to see if they could hang out with me. I’d probably have to call one of the unbiased boys in the Harry situation. I’m not sure if Louis is unbiased or not about the Harry thing. Either way I might end up having to talk with him about everything, and I don’t want to do something with someone who just wants to talk about Harry.

I pick up my phone, and scroll through my contacts until I find Liam’s name. I press his name, and once I see it calling, I bring my phone up to my ear. After about three rings I hear his voice.

“Liv?” he asked.

“Yeah, its me,” I hope this won’t be as awkward as I thought it might be.

Liam and I were friends, but we were never very close. So I guess this might be a bit weird of me by calling him. I hadn’t really thought everything through.

“What’s up?” he asked.

“Um, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go do something, like maybe go to town square or get something to eat,” I said,

“But if you’re busy I completely understand,” I quickly added, and I heard him lightly chuckle.

“Yeah sure, Louis and I were planning to head out to the park soon. They have this carnival-like thing set up to sponsor a local charity,” Liam said.

“Eleanor might be coming too,” he added.

“Okay, sounds fun,” I said.

I was a bit hesitant to accept because Louis was going, but I really shouldn’t let him bother me, Louis hasn’t done anything wrong. I’m just a bit nervous to see him. I should really thank him for telling me about what Harry was up to, even though I would’ve rather heard it from Harry, I know him and he wasn’t planning on telling me anytime soon.

I’m just happy I now have something to do for pretty much the rest of the day.

“Louis and I weren’t planning on going to the park for a few more hours, but if you want we could go get something to eat,” Liam offered.

“Sure, I’m really wanting to get out of my apartment,” I laughed.

“Do you want me to pick you up, or just meet you somewhere?” he asked.

“It’d be nice if you could come pick me up, I’d rather not pay for a taxi,” I said. “Okay, I’ll come pick you up, just text me the address of your apartment,” Liam said.

I nodded, until I realized he couldn’t see me. “Okay,” I said.

We both said bye then hung up. Once my phone closed out of the call, I went to my messages and texted Liam the address of my apartment. Once I did that, I threw my phone into my purse then went to my room to change into some more presentable clothes.

I went to my clothes and slid through the hangers until I decided on a pair of jeans and a floral top. I quickly changed into the clothes, and then slipped on a pair of combat boots. I then went into the bathroom and brushed my hair, and touched up and added a bit to the makeup I already had on.

When I was done, I grabbed a brown moto jacket and went back to the living room. I grabbed my purse and looked at my phone to see that Liam had responded to my text with an ‘okay.’

So I made sure I had my keycard, and decided to go ahead and go down to the lobby to wait for Liam. It felt a bit weird going to hang out with Liam. Sure we’ve talked before, and I think we considered each other friends, but I’ve never really done anything with him. Every time we’ve hung out, it was with some of the other boys too, and sometimes all of them, and I was mostly only talking to Niall and Harry.

Nevertheless, I walked out of my apartment and headed down the hall to elevators. When I made it to the elevators, I was a bit surprised to see Nick waiting in front of the elevator doors.

“Hey Nick,” I said as I walked over to the elevators.

“Oh hey Olivia,” Nick said, “Long time no see huh?” he said.

“Yeah,” I agreed.

It really does feel like a long time since I’ve seen him. The last time I talk to him was before I left for Los Angeles and I was asking him where the printers were.

“How was your New Year’s, did you do anything?” he asked me.

“It was good, I went to Los Angeles to visit my parents,” I said.

“Ah yes I remember, you needed the printer to get your tickets,” he said. “Yep,” I said.

“So what did you do?” I asked as the elevator doors opened and we both stepped in.

“Not much really, I just went to a party with a few friends,” he told me as he pressed the lobby button.

“Sounds fun,” I said.

“I guess,” he shrugged.

“So where is your step brother, Matthew was it?” I asked.

“Yeah, Matt, he got a part time job so he can earn some extra money while he’s here,” Nick explained, and I nodded.

“So where are you headed to today?” he asked me.

“I’m going to get something to eat with Liam, and then him, me, and Louis are going to go to the park,” I told him.

“That charity carnival?”

“Yeah,” I said.

“I thought you would’ve been hanging out with Niall and Harry,” he said.

“Well I’m not,” I shrugged, and I was happy when he didn’t ask me any follow up questions.

After a few moments passed, we arrived at the lobby, and we both got off the elevator. I headed to the sitting area to wait for Liam while Nick headed outside.
