Chapter 5

Harry’s POV

I don’t exactly want to admit it but Liv did look absolutely stunning tonight. Her blonde hair was styles perfectly and her eyes looked bright and full of life.

I snapped myself out of my thoughts, I am supposed to be angry with her, I am angry with her. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

“You okay Harry?” I heard Niall ask.

I just nodded in reply, not really caring if he saw considering it was dark outside and we didn’t have a clear view of each other.

Niall and I had just left the stadium and were walking in the parking lot towards his car.

“So um, were you happy to see Liv again?” I asked.

It was a stupid question but the silence was killing me. I didn’t care what we stalked about but anything was better than being stuck with my thoughts.

Niall began rambling on about how happy he was to see Liv again. I don’t think he’s seen her in person since that day she left for the airport; they’ve both been busy. Niall kept talking until we reached the car and got in.

“So were you happy to see Liv again?” he asked.

“Um, I guess, well not really,” I stuttered, I didn’t know how to answer that question.

“Face it you’ve missed her,” he blurted.

“W-What no I haven’t,” I protested.

“Come on, I saw you looking at her every five minutes,” he said and before I got a chance to speak, he started up again. “And you just happened to start cleaning at the same table she was,”

“No, I wasn’t looking at her, I was looking at, well just about anything but her,” I snapped.

“Well she was pretty excited that you were here,” he said.

“What?” I asked confused.

“Really?” I added.

“No, she hates you,” he chuckled.

“Wow thanks,” I said and slightly laughed along with him as I rested my elbow against the armrest.

A few minutes later we arrived at my house and Niall pulled up to let me out.

“See ya Niall,” I said before getting out of the car.

“Bye,” I heard him say.

Liv’s POV

I was walking to the elevator of the apartment building; I was so excited to see my home for the next two months. The lobby of the building was amazing; there was a huge fountain in the middle of it and numerous sitting areas with different fancy furniture.

I was so impressed by just the lobby that I couldn’t wait to see my actual apartment where I’d be staying. I stepped into the elevator and pressed my floor number as I set my duffle bag on top of my suitcase.

“Wait,” I heard a voice say and then I saw a hand stick between the closing elevator doors.

A male figure walked into the elevator letting out a sigh of relief as the doors closed with him inside now.

“Thanks,” he said.

“I didn’t really do anything, you stopped the elevator yourself, but you’re welcome, I guess.” I said to him.

He smiled then turned to press his floor button, but then stopped,

“That your floor number?” he asked motioning to the lit button.

“Yeah, I am the only other person in the elevator, “ I pointed out.

“Well we’re on the same floor then,” he said and I just nodded in response.

He leaned against the wall of the elevator and I noticed him staring at him. I just glanced up and to the side a few times, praying that we would get to floor faster.

“You’re Olivia Wilson right?” he asked.

“Yeah, that’s me,” I said.

“I knew you looked familiar, I thought you’d be on your way back to America by now, or at least in a hotel. What are you doing here?” he asked.

“I have a two month break and I’m spending it here in London,” I told him just as the elevator dinged indicating that we were at the floor.

We both got off and he began walking in the same direction as me.

“So have you been to London before?” he asked.

“Yeah I used to live here,” I said.

“Ah, I thought I heard a slight British accent. American accent starting to grow on you eh?” he said.

“Yeah,” I breathed out, as I looked up at all the door numbers looking for the one that was on my card.

I was relived when I finally found it.

“I’m Nick by the way,” he said and held out his hand,

“Liv, um I mean Olivia,” I said and shook his hand.

“You go by Liv?” he asked.

“I used to, but I go by Olivia now, saying Liv is just habit I guess-“ I quickly stopped my rambling, “You can just call me whatever you want, either works,” I finalized.

He laughed, “Okay, well I’m just down a two doors down if you need anything.”

I nodded and he walked down to his door as I proceeded to open my door. I slid the card in and the door clicked and I opened it. I held it open with my foot as I grabbed my bags and brought them in. I let the door swing close behind me as I fully stepped in and I dropped my bags to the floor.

I began walking around the apartment, the kitchen was all granite countertops and the appliances were as updated as they could be.

The living room had a giant TV and fancy couches and loveseats. I walked into the bathroom and it was the most modern bathroom I’d ever seen.

Being on tour I got to stay in expensive hotels and go to fancy restaurants, but I was still getting used to all of it. It was such a big step up from living with my parents and going to McDonald’s or sometimes places like Red Lobster.

I smiled to myself still so giddy as I went back to the door to grab my suitcase and duffle bag and walked to my room. There was a hall with about three bedrooms and I looked into each one until I found the one that was the master bedroom. I walked into the room, and it was perfect, it was a mix a vintage and modern styles and I loved it.

I set my bags down on the bed and opened them. I started with my suitcase and took out all the clothes and few pairs of shoes I had and organized them by color in my closet. I took out the two purses I had in there too and hung them up. I left a few items in the suitcase and them put it at the side of the room.

Next was my duffle bag, which mostly held my accessories. I took all those out and organized them at the vanity, the duffle bag also held my makeup bag and other toiletries. I took those out and set them in my bathroom and I decided to organize those later.

Lastly I had my tote bag, which I held all of my entertainment for the long plane and bus rides. I took out my stack of books and put them on the dresser along with my computer and multiple notebooks. I sighed once I finished and I grabbed my computer from where I just place it on the dresser.

I lay down on the bed where I stuck down into the mattress; I let out another giddy smile to myself and opened my computer.
