Chapter 42

Liv’s POV

Harry and I walked back into his room to get ready and wake up Niall. After countless failed attempts to wake Niall up, I finally resulted to just pushing him off the bed. Harry put three pillows on the floor, and I got on the bed and, not so easily, rolled Niall over until he reached the floor.

His eyes shot open and he immediately sat up. “W-What happened?” he asked looked around.

“You slept to long, now get up,” I laughed and threw one of the other pillows at him. “We’re going ice skating,” I threw another pillow at him,

“Okay, Okay I’m getting up,” he said getting up. “And I call the bathroom first,” he said and ran into the bathroom before he could.

“We should’ve seen that coming,” Harry laughed, sitting on the bed.

“Yeah,” I said sitting next to him.

“Oh by the way, I’m going to need you to drive me to my apartment to get me a change of clothes,” I said, nervous of his response once he ran a hand through his hair.

“You didn’t bring an extra change of clothes?” he asked.

“No,” I said hesitantly but covered it with a small laugh. “I didn’t think about it, plus I didn’t think we’d be going anywhere today,” I added.

He sighed, “Okay, just get changed into your clothes from yesterday, and we’ll both just get ready at your apartment,” he told me and got up to get my clothes.

I grabbed the clothes and just waited for Niall to come out of the bathroom as Harry took out a change of clothes for himself.

“You’re not going to change?” he asked as he took of his shirt to slip a new one on.

“I’m waiting for Niall to come out of the bathroom,” I told him as he took off his sweat pants grabbed a pair of jeans.

“You can change in here,”

“I think I’ll wait,” I told him.

“Don’t worry, I won’t look,” he covered his eyes and turned around.

“Fine,” I said and began to undress, looking up a few times to make sure he was still turned around.

I took off Harry’s shirt that I was wearing, and after it was completely off, I saw Harry turned back around smirking at me.

“Harry!” I grabbed my sweater and turned around so my back was facing him.

He laughed as I put my sweater on then turned back around to face him.

“You said you’d stay turned around,” I scolded him.

“Yeah I lied,” he chuckled, and I threw his clothes at him.

“You tell Niall where we are going, and I’ll go tell my mum and give her the directions to the rink,” Harry told me, and I nodded as he left the room.

I walked to the bathroom door and knocked on it,

“Niall,” I said.

“Wait your turn, I’m almost done,” he said back.

“No I just wanted to tell you Harry and I are going back to my apartment to get me a change of clothes and we’ll probably meet you at the ice rink,” I told him.

“Okay,” he said, and I walked out of the room and went to the living room.

“Ready?” I asked once I saw Harry walking into the living room.

“Yeah, just let me get something real quick,” he said and jogged off to his room.

He came back a few seconds later, and it looked like he was putting something in his coat pocket.

“Okay lets go,” he said.

I was tempted to ask what he got from his room, but I decided against it. He already seemed a bit annoyed that I forgot a change of clothes; I didn’t want to annoy him anymore.

We walked out to his garage, and got in the car and drove off to my apartment.

We got to my apartment quicker than usual because not many people were driving considering it was Christmas.

Harry parked his car at the curb, and we got out and headed inside. We had to wait about a minute for an elevator to come, but once it came we both got in. Once the doors started closing, they quickly fully opened up to let three more people who just managed to get to the elevator before the doors closed.

The people smiled at us before pressing their desired floor button and stepping to the other side of the elevator.

The people who had gotten on the elevator were only a few floors up until they got off.

“So when was the last time you went ice skating?” Harry asked once the elevator started moving again.

“Um, when I was five I think, but I only stayed on the rink for ten minutes, holding on to the side the whole time,” I said.

“So you can’t skate?” he asked amused.

“Nope, can you?” I asked.

“Well not to brag or anything but I am a pretty amazing skater,” he said popping his jacket collar.

“Way to be modest,” I said sarcastically.

“Hey I don’t lie,” he smiled.

“You lied to me this morning,” I told him.

“True, but if didn’t I wouldn’t have gotten to see you in your bra,” he smirked.

“You’re a pervert,” I rolled my eyes at him.

“Yet it hasn’t kept you away has it?” he smirked as he stepped over to me and leaned in, but I laughed and stepped away.

“You’re no fun,” he pouted but I just rolled my eyes at him as the elevator opened on my floor.

We stepped out of the elevator and walked down the hallway to my door. I took out my keycard and slid it in, opening the door.

I walked into my room, and Harry followed me. I picked out an outfit from my closet and headed to the bathroom to change.

“You can always change in here if you’d like,” Harry smirked, sitting down on my bed.

I ignored his crude comment and walked into the bathroom, making sure the door was locked.

I got dressed in my clothes, and then brushed my teeth and my hair. I got out my perfume and sprayed on a bit more than usual because I could still smell the musky scent of Harry’s soap and shampoo.

I then reapplied my makeup and brushed through my hair one more time then walked back out to my room. When I stepped back into my room, I saw Harry fixing his hair in front of my dresser mirror.

“Do you need to do anything else to get ready?” I asked and he looked away from the mirror.

“I need to use your bathroom,” he said and quickly walked into my bathroom and shut the door.

A few moments passed and I heard the toilet flush, and the sink start running. He came out a few seconds later, and he was sniffing his hands.

“What are you doing?” I asked him.

“You’re hand soap smells really good,” he said and continued sniffing his hands.

“Well that’s not weird,” I said sarcastically.

“Lets just go,” he said, and I slipped my shoes on.
