Still Mine

What if someone said something to you, trying to discourage you from following your dreams. Would you give up on that dream? Or would you follow that dream and prove them wrong. What if the person who tired to discourage you came to an event of your dream that is now reality and tried to win you back?

My name is Olivia Wilson, and I know what I'd do.

Chapter 3

Liv’s POV

“Thank you London, you were amazing! Good night!” my voice boomed through the arena.

I had just finished my last and was saying my farewell thank you to the audience. As I left the stage with my band, the spotlights turned off and the arena lights turned back on as everyone filed out. I walked backstage and grabbed a water bottle from the cooler. I opened it and took one big gulp of it before closing it again and walking down the hall.

“Great job Olivia,”

“Amazing concert,”

“Loved every minute of it,”

I was receiving many compliments from the stage crew and my tour crew. I thanked them all as they came while I walked to my dressing room.

I walked up to my dressing room door, the words ‘Olivia Wilson’ pasted across the door. I still wasn’t completely used to people calling me Olivia. I had grown up with the nickname Liv, but my publicity agent insisted that Olivia had a better ring to it for me, so I went with it.

I opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind me. I opened the water bottle and took a few sips from it before tossing it onto the couch. I walked over to the rack of clothes and slid the hangers on the rack, flipping through the clothes.

I was looking for something to wear to my meet and greet party, and being the procrastinator I am I hadn’t picked out my outfit ahead of time, even though everyone told me to so I wouldn’t be late. I didn’t always listen to my tour crew; I had a mind of my own.

I slid through the hangers a bit longer until I found the perfect outfit. I quickly changed out of my current stage outfit and into the outfit I just found. I took my phone out from my purse sitting on the make up table and slipped it in my back pocket.

Once I walked down the hallway I went into the room where the meet and greet was going to be held. “I’m here,” I announced. Two of the directors ran over to me and went through the procedure with me. I didn’t listen though, I already knew exactly what to do, I would sign autographs and take pictures, then I would join everyone on the big open space in the room for a small party.

This has always been one of my favorite parts, I got to meet some fans, and then during the party I get to interact with them, get to know them, and sing a few songs, sometimes a few fans would join on the small stage and sing with me.

I positioned myself at the table as the doors were opened and order everyone into two groups: those who wanted an autograph and picture, and those who didn’t. There were always a few who just wanted to get straight to the party and skip the meet and greet.

I observed the two groups as the security guards led the first group into a line starting at my table, and the other group to the dance floor.

I was almost finished signing all the pictures and CD’s people wanted signed and taking pictures. Once I finished, I headed out to the dance floor where everyone else was. Everyone was busy talking to their friends and discussing what they got autographed and everything I said to them.

I smiled and walked over to the snack table. I was about to pick up a cup when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turn around and I couldn’t believe who I saw.

“Niall!” I practically squealed and pulled him into a large embrace.

“I didn’t think you were coming.” I said releasing him from the embrace.

“Are you kidding I wouldn’t miss this for the world,” he said and I pulled him into another hug.

“I haven’t seen you in so long, I’m so glad you’re here,” I said to him with a giant smile stuck on my face.

“I know, and you’re concert was amazing I’m glad I could come,” he smiled.

“Me too,” I agreed.

“Did you bring any of the guys?” I asked him as I looked around.

“Yeah,” he said and bit his lip.

“Who? I don’t see-“ I stopped when a head full of curls came into view a few feet away,

“Harry” I whispered as my grey eyes met his bright green ones.

Harry’s POV

The concert was finally over and now I just had to get through the meet and greet. I will admit the concert really wasn’t that bad. She does have a good voice, I only told her she didn’t because I thought it might discourage her and she’d stay in London.

Looking back on it now it was a foolish thing to do, I just couldn’t believe she was going to leave me, and she did leave and it hurt. Everyone told kept saying that she wasn’t leaving me; she was just pursuing her dream. Everyone made it sound like it was my fault that we broke up, and maybe it was maybe it wasn’t but they didn’t have to keep telling me.

Niall and I got up from our seats as the arena lights turned back on. Niall took out a piece of paper from his pocket and read it out loud. It was directions to get to the meet and greet party with two small tickets taped to it. As we walked to where the paper told us, Niall was reading about what it was on the other side of the paper.

“So do you want to do the autograph signing and the picture or just go straight to the party?” Niall asked.

“Is that even a real question?” I joked.

“Straight to the party then I’m guessing?” he smiled.

“Yeah,” I said, “Or we could just go straight to the car and leave,” I added.

“Not likely,” Niall said.

“It was worth a shot.” I said as we approached the backstage doors.

We showed the security guard our ticket and he opened the door to a group of people waiting in front of another door that led to the party I’m guessing.

After a few minutes it was announced that they were going to open to doors but they had to divide us into two groups once we got in there. Everyone nodded showing they understood and the doors were opened.

Two guards directed us where to go depending on what group we wanted to be in. Almost everyone went in the group where they get an autograph and a picture, but I was surprised by how many people wanted to get straight to the party. We were led to a dance floor while the other bunch of people were put into a line.

Music started playing and multicolored lights were flashing as people danced to the music. I stood at the side with Niall, neither of us wanting to dance like everyone else. Niall was mainly just waiting for Liv to finish her autograph signing so he could go surprise her.

He was taking quick glances over in her direction ever few minutes to see how many more people were left. I on the other hand was just looking around, praying for this night to be over. I watched as people came from Liv’s autograph table to the dance floor.

“So are you having fun yet?” Niall asked.

“You can at least act like you are,” he told me.

I turned to face him and gave him the biggest and also the fakest smile I could manage.

“Much better,” he laughed.

I rolled my eyes and put the neutral look back on my face.

“I think she’s almost done,” he said as he observed how many people were now over here and how many people were left at the signing table.

Once everyone was finished getting their autographs and pictures, Liv began to walk over with everyone else. I noticed her going over to the snack, I gave Niall a tap on the arm with my hand and motioned over to Liv, he smiled and headed over to her.

I watched him as he tapped on her shoulder getting her attention. She turned around and she had a huge smile on her face once she realized it was Niall.

She pulled him into a big hug and once she pulled away they started talking, until she pulled him into another hug, then they continued their conversation. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, I tried to figure out what they were saying as they talked but it was no use.

My curiosity got the best of me as I began to inch closer; I tried to still remain somewhat hidden so I could listen in. After a few moments I realized I’d been caught as her gaze. I saw her mouth move, and this time I could figure out what she said.

“Harry,” she whispered.

I couldn’t hear her tone of voice, but by the look in her eyes and the expression on her face, I could tell she was shocked and a bit nervous at the sight of me being here.
