Chapter 29

Liv’s POV

Once Harry and I were in his kitchen, I sat on the barstool like I always did, and Harry began to get some food out.

“I’m just going to make a small breakfast if that’s okay,” Harry told me.

I replied, “Yeah that’s fine,”

He nodded and started taking some bread out and putting it into the toaster. Once the two pieces of bread were done in the toaster, he took them out and put two more in. He spread butter on the pieces that were done, and handed me the plate. I thanked him and started to eat it as he got me a glass of orange juice. His toast was done, and he quickly spread the butter on it before joining me.

“So what do you want to do today?” he asked, and then took a bite of his toast.

“Well depending on the weather I was thinking we could go downtown and see all the Christmas lights that are up."

“Sounds good, what are we doing if the weather is bad?” he asked.

“I don’t know, I was think we’d just watch movies here,” I shrugged and took a sip from my orange juice.

“Okay,” he agreed.

“I’m going to go look outside and see where our plans stand so far,” he told me and got up to walk over to the window.

He came back a few moments later, “It’s snowing, but not very much,” he told as he sat back down.

“What about the roads?”

“I’ll have to check the weather online, but my guess is most of them are pretty much cleared,” he assured me.

“Okay,” I said and we both continued eating our breakfast.

Once we finished eating, Harry got his laptop and went to the weather channel’s website to see what the day is going to look like. He came back a few minutes later,

“Its only lightly snowing so we should be good for the day,” he told me.

“Okay,” I said happily. “Can we stop by my apartment so I can change?”

“Yeah, do you want to change back into your clothes from yesterday to go over there?” he asked me.

“Yes,” I replied and he walked over to his washer and drier to get my clothes I’m guessing.

He came back a few moments later hold my clothes in a folded stack.

“Thanks,” I said and got up to go change.

I decided just to change in the guest room because that’s where my purse was.

After I finished changing, I grabbed my purse from the spot I had left it, and then I went to Harry’s room and put his clothes on his bed. When I came back to the living room, Harry was sitting on the couch.

“Ready?” he asked once he saw that I was there.

“Yep,” I said.

Harry handed me the jacket of his I was wearing yesterday before putting on his own jacket. We walked through the garage door connecting his house and the garage, and went to his car. He unlocked it, and he quickly walked in front of me and went to open the car door for me. I thought that was sweet of him and I thanked him before getting into the car. He walked over to his side of the car and got in and started up the car. He pressed the garage remote to open up the garage and drove out, pressing the button again to close it.

Most of the drive to the apartment was pretty silent. One of us would say something and we would carry on a conversation for a few minutes then it’d just be silent; that went on for a while. We arrived at my apartment and Harry parked at the side of the rode and went inside with me. Once we had gotten in the elevator, I noticed a small group of girls quickly running over to out elevator, they made it inside seconds before it fully closed.

“Hello,” one of the girls said, dragging out the end of the word.

“Hi,” I said back.

“Can I have an autograph?” another girl blurted out.

“Hannah,” the other girl said, her tone sounding annoyed as she hit her friend’s arm.

“Sorry I couldn’t help it,” the girl who I learned was Hannah said, and the other girl rolled her eyes.

Harry grabbed Hannah’s notebook and pen and signed the opened page. He handed it to me, and I signed as well right below Harry’s name.

“Thank you so much,” Hannah said as I gave her the notebook.

“So are you both dating?” one of the girls asked.

“Elle you can’t just ask someone that,” she scolded her friend, “But are you?” she said and looked at us.

I looked over at Harry and waited for him to answer. We aren’t back together, but we seem to almost be on track to where we used to be.

“Not right now, no” Harry smoothly answered, and I turned back facing the girls.

“You should get back together,” the girl I figured was Elle said.

“No they shouldn’t,” one of them snapped, it was the same girl who got made at Hannah for asking for an autograph and I’m guessing she was the ‘leader’ of the group.

“I think they should,” Hannah.

“No one cares what you think Hannah,” the girl whose name I’ve yet to figure out said.

“I care,” Elle said defending her friend, and the girl scoffed.

“Lets face it, Harry and Olivia aren’t getting back together, Harry will marry me and Olivia, well who cares about Olivia.”

My eyes widen at her arrogant comment, and I was holding back a laugh. Harry looked over at me and gave me a look, and it seemed he was trying not to laugh.

“Tory you do know they are both right behind you,” Elle said,

“Yeah, good luck getting Harry now,” Hannah added.

“Oh please, he doesn’t even care about Olivia,” the leader whose name I now know is Tory said.

The girls continued arguing with each other and silently laughed at the friendship these preteen girls had with each other. They seemed to annoy each other so much, and I wonder how they stay friends with that Tory girl.

I was relieved when the elevators finally arrived at my floor, and I could stop listening to the irrelevant quarrels between preteen girls. I stepped passed the girls and got off, Harry following.

“Well that was…interesting,” Harry laughed as we walked down the hall.

“I know,” I said, and we continued talking about the events that just occurred as we walked to my door.

Once we arrived at my door, I got out my keycard and walked inside.

“You can just watch something on TV while I change, I’ll be quick,” I told Harry and he nodded as he walked over to my couch and sat down as I walked to my room to go get changed.

I threw my purse on my bed as I always do and searched my closet for something to wear. I had to choose something that would keep me warmer than the outfit I’m currently wearing is. I got out one of my warm sweaters and a pair of jeans. I decided to wear the boots I already had out, and I grabbed a hat, scarf, and gloves from my dresser.

I stripped off the clothes I was currently wearing, and put on the ones I just picked out. I went to the bathroom, and brushed out my hair, and applied some makeup. I went to get my hat, and adjusted it on my head before putting on my gloves and scarf. I slipped on my boots and then looked around my room to make sure I had everything I needed before I walked out to the living room where Harry was.
