Chapter 24

Liv’s POV

I closed the door behind Harry after he left. I went through all the events that just happened as I went into my room. His apology shocked me, the kiss surprised me, and the way he went from apologetic back to his cheeky and seductive self bothered me a bit. He apologizes, and then a minute after, he’s back to whispering in my ear and wanting to kiss me. It all just confuses me so much. Once I was in my room, I went to my closet and changed into some more comfortable clothes.

I sat on my bed and laid down then stared at the ceiling. I had no clue want I was going to do for the rest of the day. I sat up and looked at the digital clock on the bedside table, 2:00 is what it read. How could it only be two? It felt like it was much longer. I lay back down on my bed as a tried to decide what I could do. I suppose I could take a nap but I’m not really tried. I just ate so eating something is out of the question. I would go for a walk, but the colder weather is starting up and it’s freezing out there. I’m almost tempted to call Harry and have him come back, but I know I shouldn’t.

After I came up with a few more failed ideas, I decided on calling Niall and seeing if he could come over. I haven’t really gotten much time to catch up with him considering he brings Harry with him every time he invites me to do something. I sat up and grabbed my purse and took my phone out of it and found Niall’s number and called him. After about three rings he picked up,

“Hey Liv,” Niall said through the phone.

“Hey,” I said back.

“Are you busy?” I asked.

“Not really, what’s up?” he said.

“I was wondering if maybe you could come over or we could go somewhere,” I said.

“Yeah sure, just meet me in the lobby of your apartment,” he told me.

“Okay,” I said.

“But don’t bring Harry,” I added.

“I thought you both were getting along,” he said.

“Yeah I guess, but you’ve had a habit of bring him along lately.” I told him and I heard him laugh.

“So how are things going between you too?” he asked.

“I’ll talk more about that when you come,” I said.

“Okay,” he said and he both hung up.

I put my phone back in my purse and I decided to go ahead and go to the lobby to wait for Niall. I picked up my purse and walked out of my room and to the front door. I double checked that I had my keycard and then slip some shoes on and walked out into the hallway. I walked down the hall to the elevators and waited for one to arrive. Once one did I got in and pressed the button for the lobby. As the elevator began to go down, it stopped at one of the floors. The doors opened and an elderly lady walked in. She smiled at me as she walked in, I smiled back and she looked at the button panel.

“It seems you’ve already pressed the lobby button,” she said.

“Yep, I did,” I said back and she nodded as she stood at the side of the elevator.

“My granddaughter loves your music,” she said unexpectedly.

“Oh, thanks,” I said and the lady smiled.

A few seconds later a few more people got on the elevator before it finally reached the lobby. I quickly got off and walked over the sitting area in the lobby. I sat down and got out my phone and began to scroll through random apps as I waited for Niall.

I tried to think of what I was going to tell him. I wasn’t sure if I should tell him that Harry and I kissed. I knew Niall was going to ask a bunch of questions about Harry and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to talk about it all right now. It all just seems so confusing right now. I guess if I told Niall everything it might make things less confusing. Plus I tell Niall anything, and he would be so happy to hear about everything.

About ten more minutes passed and I put my phone back in my purse as I began to look around to see if Niall was here yet. After I looked around for a few seconds, I noticed Niall walking in from the main door. I realized he noticed me when he waved at me; I waved back as he walked over to me.

“Damn it’s cold out there,” Niall said as sat in the chair across from me.

“So, you and Harry?” Niall asked with a smile as he took his jacket off.

“What about Harry and I?” I asked and smiled.

“What’s going on between you too?” he asked.

I told Niall everything, starting with Harry coming over after I left them at the restaurant. I told him about Harry taking me to the movies and the park, and I even told him about the two times kissed me, and Harry’s apology.

“So do you forgive him?” Niall asked with a giddy expression on his face.

“I guess so,” I said.

“Did you get back together?” Niall asked, continuing his span of questions.

“No,” I replied.

“Do you want to get back together with him?” he asked.

“I don’t know…maybe,” I said.

“I knew it,” Niall said excitedly,

“I knew you still had feelings for him,” Niall said and I felt my cheeks heat up.

“I happen to know the he really likes you,” Niall continued.

“Did he tell you that?” I asked.

“Yep,” Niall said, and he still had a priceless look of happiness on his face.

Niall and I stayed and the lobby and probably talked for an hour and a half. As we were talking, Niall looked down at his watch,

“Oh I have to go,” Niall said, “We’re recording some songs and I have to go to the studio,” Niall explained as he got up and put his jacket back on.

“Bye,” I said, he said bye back before leaving the building.

Once Niall left, I sat in the chair for a few more minutes before I decided to go to one of the restaurants and get an early dinner. I decided on the seafood restaurant and walked inside. I walked up to the front desk and got a table, the place wasn’t as crowded as usual, so I got a pretty good table. Once I sat down, I ordered my drink and went ahead and ordered an appetizer too. As I waited for both of those to come, I read my menu and looked for something to eat. Once the drink and appetizer came, I ordered the food that I chose from the menu.

As I was eating my appetizer, I heard my phone ringing from my purse. I answered the call with out bothering to look at the contact name.

“Hello?” I said.

“Hello Liv,” I heard Harry’s voice say.

“Hey Harry,” I said back.

“Be ready at noon tomorrow, I’m going to pick you up,” Harry said and hung up before I got the chance to say anything else.
