I was kicked out of home on my eighteenth birthday, with nothing but the clothes I was wearing. My parents didn't like the idea of me making my own choices and becoming a bodyguard; they wanted me to work for them, and become a lawyer. I haven't spoken to my parents since.
One year later, I'm going for a job interview to be some famous person's bodyguard, who happens to be Louis Tomlinson.
We are always arguing and annoying each other but we have to learn to get along as we don't want anyone getting hurt; or worse, killed.

8. Chapter Seven

Chapter Seven: Celebrity benefits I guess.

“G’day mate!” I say attempting an Australian accent and failing miserably.

Louis laughs, “I don’t think you have it quite yet.”

Louis decided he felt like going to the beach to surf, but not a beach at home, a beach in Australia.

“So many people have told me about the awesome waves there!” Louis had told me ad he tried to convince me to go to Australia with him because, well, we had to be with each other at all times. (Unfortunately). Though I didn’t realise that once I agreed he’d be flying us out the next morning, not bothering about telling anyone because the paparazzi could handle that.

Celebrity benefits I guess.

So now, Louis and I have just arrived at the infamous beach he had been gushing about and are walking on the sand and looking for a good spot to set up camp. Not an actual camp, though.

There are a few people here, more than I expected, maybe around thirty?

“So, since we are at the beach and in public, are you going to wear a bikini?” Louis asks, winking.

I roll my eyes, “yes, I am wearing a bikini, nut no, I won’t be taking my t-shirt off. Not for you anyway.” I smirk, and begin walking ahead but stop in my tracks when I see someone I don’t want to see right now. Actually, I don’t ever want to see him.

My ex-boyfriend Eric, with his ‘model of a girlfriend.’ The girl he cheated on me with.

Louis stops next to me and looks in the direction I’m looking. “What is it?” he asks, which I quickly reply back.

“Ex-boyfriend. He cheated.”

Eric catches my gaze and grins when he recognises whom it is, before grabbing his girl’s hand and pulling her towards us.

Oh, boy.

“Sh*t. Act cool.” I whisper, putting on a happy face.

He stops about a metre away from us and greets me with a simple word, my name. “Jordan.”

“Eric.” I reply, my voice monotone.

“What brings you here?” he asks, making small talk.

I shrug my shoulders, “My boyfriend Louis and I are in Australia for a few days just for a break. What about you?” I asks, making sure I emphasise the word, ‘boyfriend.’

You see, Eric was my first boyfriend and we dated for three years. We met at the supermarket and I fell for his charm and good looks straight away. I was so in love with him and I thought he was too. Until I decided I would surprise him on our anniversary and saw him in bed with another girl who apparently he had been sleeping with for a few months. I guess it was because I didn’t give him what he wanted; my virginity, and he got bored.

“I’m here with Lacey on a romantic trip.” he doesn’t say girlfriend because by the way he has his arm around her waist and hand resting on her butt, we all know they are ‘more than friends.’ Besides, they are on a ‘romantic holiday.’

Only now does Lacy realise who I’m with a smiles, flirtatiously at my boyfr- friend. I’m surprised when Louis wraps his arm around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder in response.

“Well, we are going to go for a swim. Nice to see you again, Jordan.” Eric purrs, walking towards the shore with his girlfriend.

I growl and dump my bag on the ground. “They are not going to win this. We are going to win.” I scowl, taking my clothes of to reveal my red blue bikini.

Louis gases at my body and I smack him on the arm, “Are you coming for a swim or what?” I hiss.

He nods his head, “yeah, I just didn’t think you were going to take your shirt off.” the bastard smirks.

I growl once again, “I have to show Eric what he is missing out on.”

I tug on Louis’ arm once he has taken his shirt off and we walk to the water.

We splash around for a bit and laugh obnoxiously loud at nothing (for show) and getting even louder once Eric and Lacy join in on the who-is-the-best-couple-competition.

It’s not until the two start kissing that I finally give up because one; I’m not a big fan of PDA, two; I am not kissing Louis, and three; I’m getting sick of this anyway.

For a minute or two, I stand there in the water sulking since the other couple have won until Louis splashes some water at me.

“Hey!” I yell, splashes him back with more water.

“What?” he asks innocently, and splashes me again.

I splash him back.

I’m expecting him to splash me again but what he does next surprises me; he picks me up and throws me in the water.

I come up for air after pinching his toe underwater and laugh, only to be pushed back under.

Underwater, I realise that Louis and I are finally getting a long for once. This is weird.

When I rise to the surface, Louis has the same expression I imagine I would have right now. Confusion.

I glance over at the couple ten metres away that are happily making out, and get angry again.

Eric can’t win.

Eric hurt me so much when he cheated on me and I can’t let him win again. He won the first game, now I’m going to win this game.

That jerk face is a dick and he doesn’t deserve the rite to win both games.

So the next thing I do is crazy. I never would have done it if Eric weren’t here. I stare into Louis’ eyes as he stares back mine.

His eyes are a beautiful ocean blue colour; like the one we are swimming in right now. Not waiting any longer, I pull Louis face towards mine and kiss him.

At first he is rigid and doesn’t move, but after a few seconds he wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me back.

The kiss is more passionate than Eric and Lacey’s; heck it’s more passionate than the kisses Eric and I had when we were together.

I begin laughing when I open my eyes and see Eric and Lacey glaring at us, which causes Louis to open his eyes and laugh too.

Having won this game, Louis and I walk out of the ocean and towards our stuff. The whole time Louis doesn’t take his hold off me and my final thought before leaving the beach is; You lost Eric, and Louis and I won.

I suck at writing romantic scenes so I hope this was okay.

Love you all! :) xxxxx
