I was kicked out of home on my eighteenth birthday, with nothing but the clothes I was wearing. My parents didn't like the idea of me making my own choices and becoming a bodyguard; they wanted me to work for them, and become a lawyer. I haven't spoken to my parents since.
One year later, I'm going for a job interview to be some famous person's bodyguard, who happens to be Louis Tomlinson.
We are always arguing and annoying each other but we have to learn to get along as we don't want anyone getting hurt; or worse, killed.

15. Chapter Fourteen

Chapter Fourteen: Meet my Grandparents!

Remember when you were a little kid and were going on holidays with your family and when you were in the car every five minutes you keep asking mum and dad “Are we there yet?” Yeah? Remember your parents getting really angry and annoyed? Yeah, well now I understand why.

“Are we there yet?”

“Niall, if we were there do you think I’d still be driving?” I say through gritted teeth.

“I’m hungry, can we stop?” Harry asks, just after I snap at Niall.

“Yeah, I need to use the loo.” Zayn pipes up.

Liam is driving, I’m in the passenger seat –injuries do have their high points- Louis and Zayn are in the middle and Harry and Niall are in the back.

“Are we-“

“Bloody hell guys are you four years old?” Liam snaps, facing away from the road for only a second before I grab hold of his head and twist it back to the road.

“Jesus, I thought you were the responsible one.” I hiss, pointing to the road. “Eyes on the road buddy.

It’s quiet for a moment until Louis opens his mouth and starts singing ‘wrecking ball’ at the top of his voice horribly.

Niall joins in. Then Harry. Then Zayn. Then Liam. Okay, I think they are trying to get on my nerves.

After trying to block them out with my fingers and failing I decide to join in the ‘fun’. But then think of the little boy on vine who crushes his nuts when he is singing this song and burst out laughing.

After nine long and loud hours of travelling in the car, only stopping in tiny towns to use the toilet, we are at my grandparents.

My grandparents live in a small town –let me rephrase that- tiny town, with a population of forty-three and now, forty-nine. This place is really just an old person’s town. Literally. There is nobody that lives here that is under the age of fifty, well except my good friend Gus. His grandpa lives here and he used to visit them a lot in the holidays, conveniently at the same time I was visiting my grandparents. We were the only kids here so you can understand that we spent almost everyday together while visiting. Gus now lives here and looks after his grandpa since he became too sick to look after himself.

The reason I have taken the boys here is because; one, to visit my grandparents; two, everyone is over fifty and will have no idea who ‘one direction’ is; and three, there is no way I could have taken them to my parents.

It’s eleven at night so I dare say pop and grandma will be in bed. Lucky for us, my grandparents gave me a spare house key telling me and I quote, “Come stay with us anytime you like. You don’t even need to tell us! Just show up un-announced.” I better do as they say, I think and smirk as I unlock the front door.

I open the door motioning to the boys to shut up and go through, switching the light on, on the way.

“Okay, follow me and be quiet.” I whisper to the others and start heading down the hallway to the living room where the boys will be sleeping.

“Make yourselves at home!” I whisper shout, motioning to the couch and floor holding in a laugh.

All five of the boys are staring at me like I’m insane. “We aren’t sleeping there.” Louis says in disbelief.

I nod my head, keeping a straight face. “Yes, you are.” I nod my head and start making my way to ‘my’ bedroom. It’s actually the spare but I’m the only one that uses it.

I flick on the light once I’ve reached my room and smile in content. I’ve missed this place.

I walk as hop (I’m still on crutches) as I can to the huge king bed, quickly pulling my jeans and bra off. Too tired to get in my pyjamas, I decide to sleep in my shirt and undies.

I fall asleep thinking of what tomorrow will bring.

“Jordan! What are you doing in bed with five boys?!” My grandmother yells, horrified.

I quickly sit up pulling on my stitches, looking around the room and notice that Zayn, Niall, Liam, Louis and Harry are now waking up next to me. I scream, scrambling out of the bed using my good leg. “What are you guys doing in my bed?” I yell, only to notice them looking down at my bare legs. I scream again, quick to steal the bed cover and wrap myself in it.

“The couches and floor were uncomfortable…” I hear someone say pathetically.

I roll my eyes and suddenly remember who are standing behind me. “Grandma! Poppy!” I squeal, limping over to them. I give them a tight hug that lasts for a long ten seconds.

“We’ve missed you.” They both say at the same time, causing me to smile. They always say things in unison.

When we’ve finished hugging I introduce them to the lads. “Grandma and pop, meet my friends Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn. Boys, meet my grandparents!”
The boys sheepishly say hi and then grandma and pop leave telling me they are going to cook some breakfast. The two old farts forget to close the door though, so not more than three seconds later I hear them whisper to each other.
“I’ve always known Jordan was straight but I never knew Jordan would be with five of guys at a time!”

“I hear its what all the young people are doing now. It’s really swig.” which causes us all to burst out laughing.
