14. The Suprise!

Sammy's P.O.V.

I was in my room, dancing to my radio, which was currently playing C'mon by Kesha. I heard a knock in my door. Assuming it was Zayn, I turned off my radio. I opened my door to see Connor standing with a bouquet of flowers. I stared at him for about 30 seconds, open-mouthed. He finally broke the silence. "May I come in?" he shyly asked. I opened my door as an indication for him to come in. As Connor walked in, I finally closed my mouth. "What are you doing here?" I asked him quietly. "I wanted to apologize for my rude doing at school. I really wanted to see you in person to do this instead of calling you," Connor explained, sitting on my bed, setting the flowers down. "I appreciate you doing that, but why do you care about me all of a sudden?" I asked, confused. "I always have cared about you. I've had a crush on you since the beginning of high school," Connor said so quiet I almost didn't here him. I stared at him in awe. "These are for you," Connor smiled shyly, handing the flowers to me. I took the flowers and set them down on my dresser. I sat down on the bed with Connor. I felt different about him. I think I like him... NO!!! I can't like him! We both started to lean in. NO!!!! We were so close, our noses were touching. We kissed. I felt like the 4th of July! Sparks and fireworks were exploding inside me. When we ended the kiss, we were staring into each others eyes. "Wow..." I said, impressed by how good of a kisser he was. "Are we a thing now? An item? A couple?" Connor was asking so many questions at once. "Hush. Yes, we are, but it must remain secret. Don't tell anyone at the school," I said, hoping he was understanding everything I was saying. That night, sadly, he left. I was so happy that night, I literally got no sleep. All I did during the night was text Connor. I am finally someone's girlfriend, like I always wanted.
