Bumping into a local stranger can just be an average thing. You see them a lot, you might even pop in a little hello every now and then.
But when this person has fallen deeply for you, what is there to do?
Meet 'local stranger', or as some might say, Harry Styles.

6. "Harry, this is Vicky, Vicky this is Harry."

[Victoria's P.O.V]

"Here's your drink" Louis smiles sweetly, crinkles appearing around his eyes, he notices Adele's face before adding "a erm, a nice vodka for you, Victoria."

"Thanks, just call me Vicky or Vic, if you like" I shout above the banging music.

"Oh yeah, sure. Listen guys, I have to go and greet some people, and I.." he stutters, before carrying on his conversation, "I invited this girl, so hopefully I'll see her. See you around, Victoria." He finishes the last of his drink and casually walks back over to the door.

I turn to Adele to mention some inside joke we share, but she is already exchanging numbers with a tall, redhead boy. Oh. I scan the room to see if I knew anyone, when I heard a scream of joy.

"Sara!" Adele practically leapt into her. Sara's face was priceless- perhaps a bit worried that Adele had decided to climb Mount Everest on her. "Sara, you remember Vicky, don't you?"

"Yes, I remember." She says in her boyish voice. I give her a fake smile and peer behind my shoulder. The blonde girl from before was at the bar again, but was only ordering one drink this time. Once again, repeating my actions, I followed her back to see that she was no longer sat with Harry, but with a girl. They were cackling in each others ears- oh the joys of alcohol.

"Yeah?" I question, spinning around to see who had encountered me.

"Are you okay? You look a bit lost." His Yorkshire accent fills my ears, spoken with such curiosity.

"I'm fine. What are you doing here anyway?"

"Well, that girl I invited.." he coughs, "she ditched me for someone else." He looks over his shoulder at a curvy, black haired girl standing with her arms around a short, black haired guy from my English lecture.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Louis."

"No, no, I'm fine." He smiles, feeling sorry for himself. "Would you like another drink? I'm not sure if Adele is around, so I could get you that lemonade?"

"Oh, go on then!" I laugh. He chuckles as well, before walking over to the bar. I follow.

[Harry's P.O.V]

"Hiya, honey!" Amanda chirps to Adele, before enveloping her in a huge hug.

"Hey Ammie! You remember Sara, don't you?" Adele questions.

Sara the transvestite. Adele is so obsessed with her, I don't think she's taken the time out to notice it herself. Adele and Sara sat down opposite me and Amanda, whilst telling us all the gossip from the past week. Girls will be fucking girls.

"So, what's new with you, Harry?" Sara asks.

"Uh, not much really, I've just been studying."

"Oh my god- how boring!" Adele again. "So Harry, have you seen the girl I brought along?" She winks.

"What? Adele!" Amanda's eyes go wide and she scoots closer to me, invading my personal space.

"Yeah, she's my best friend. Wait. Where is she? Hang on." She tilts her head to the side, her eyes scanning the room. "There she is! Vicky! Louis! Excuse me, Vic!"

I turn to face the girl she invited and Louis. Adele signals that she comes over, and when she does, I cant help but stare at her. I remember her from somewhere, but I cant remember where. She seemed familiar. Amanda was snuggling closer to me, invading my space.

"Babe, give me a bit of room, please?" My raspy voice begged.

Louis sat down next to Sara and they were just chatting to Adele. Vicky was sat shyly, not speaking or embracing anyone. I had to remember who she was, surely?

[Victoria's P.O.V]

I awkwardly sat across the table from Harry as I could feel him glaring at me. I tried not to let my cheeks go red, but it was getting the better of me. My face was heating, I knew he was staring. I bit my lip, not knowing where to look.

"Sorry. Harry, this is Vicky, Vicky this is Harry" Adele said, signalling to Harry, "and this is Amanda, Harry's girlfriend." She signalled to Amanda. Oh. Girlfriend? I guess I shouldn't be so surprised.

"Vicky." Harry held out his hand. I stared at his hand for 5 seconds until I realised that I should probably shake back.

"Hi." I said, but sounded like a squeak.

"Do I know you from somewhere?"

"I-I was thinking the same." I said, and he chuckled, stopping to smile at me.
