2. Maybe I Should Quit

~Hey loves! I'm back! So updating should go back to normal now. Thanks for your patience!~

I woke up to someone, or something, licking my face. "What the?" I mumbled, opening my eyes. Little Rocky was staring down at me with is big, dark eyes. He let out a little yip. "Well, good morning, baby!" I squealed. He licked my cheek.

I looked to my right. Harry wasn't there. I noticed a suitcase sitting on the floor. I frowned. Harry was leaving tomorrow. I wasn't going to see him for about a month or maybe even two. I let out a long sigh and got out of bed. Rocky followed at my heals.

I heard humming coming from the kitchen as I skipped down the stairs. Harry was standing at the counter making pancakes. I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him from behind. I felt him jump. "Oh. It's you. Scared me there for a moment." he chuckled. I smiled and pecked his cheek.

I sat down at the counter on a stool and licked my lips. "Smells good." I told him. He just nodded. "Is there something wrong?" I asked. He glanced up at me and shook his head. I sighed. "Harry, come on. I know there's something upsetting you." I told him. He lifted the pancakes onto a plate and handed them to me. "Thanks." I said.

He sat down next to me and watched me eat. Every few seconds he'd let out a long, sad sigh. I looked up from my food and noticed he had tears forming in his eyes. He wiped them away before they could fall. I stood up and grabbed his hand. I guided him to the living room and we both sat down on the couch. "Now tell me." I demanded. He sighed. "I-I just don't want to leave." he said quietly. I held his hand in mine. "I know. I don't want you to leave, either." I told him.

"Maybe," he started before pausing temporarily. "Maybe I should quit One Direction." My head shot up at him. "Harry Edward Styles I don't ever want to hear those words come out of your mouth." I exclaimed. He chuckled. "Sorry. I forgot I was in the presence of a Directioner." "I'm serious, Harry. Do you know how upset everyone would be? Not to mention the boys. They would be crushed. And all the fans? Do you know how many would probably commit suicide?"

Harry interrupted me. "They wouldn't do that." "You'd be surprised. I know I would." His eyes widened and filled with more tears. "If I wasn't married to you, of course." I added. "Please don't ever say that." he choked. "I'm sorry. I won't. But anyway, I've told you a million times. I don't want to get in the way of the band. I don't ever want you to let go of your passion." I told him. "But you're my passion." he responded. "I meant your other passion. Now please don't ever think about quitting again. So many people would be broken." I pointed out. He nodded. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I would never quit. I promise."

I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a tight hug. "I love you. And I'll really miss you." he whispered into my ear. "I love you, too. And I'll miss you so much. But we'll talk every day. I promise." I told him. "I just hate that I'm going to be so far away." he said. "Where are you going?" I asked. "The U.S." he answered.

It felt like a knife stabbed through my chest. My breathing became heavy. He wiped away a tear that was rolling down my cheek. I smiled weakly. "Like you said, we'll talk all the time. Everything will be okay." he said. I nodded. He leaned in and gave me a kiss. "I love you." he said. "Well, if you love me then let me go finish my pancakes." I said pouting. He laughed. "Haley, I love you, but can you please stay here and cuddle with me? I can always make more pancakes." he pointed out. I groaned. "Fine."

I grabbed a blanket and cuddled up next to him. "I'm cold." I complained. He chuckled. "Well be patient. You'll be warm in a minute." he told me. The next thing I remember was opening my eyes and Harry not being next to me. I looked out the window. It was getting dark. I stood up and went upstairs. Harry was on the bad playing with Rocky and Lexi.

"I'll miss you little stinkers." he said, rubbing his hand on the little dogs head. "But you better take good care of your mommy. Keep her company." I walked in and sat on the bed next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder. "What time is it?" I asked. He looked at his phone. "Ten." he told me. "I slept through the whole day?!" I asked. He laughed and nodded. "Yeah."

"Why didn't you wake me up? I could have spent all this time with you." I pointed out. He had a guilty look on his face. "Sorry. You just looked so peaceful." he said. I rolled my eyes. "Let's stay up all night." he suggested. I nodded. "Okay."

We stayed up until about two in the morning when I felt my eyelids start to get heavy. Harry must have noticed because he said, "Come on, love. Your tired. Let's get some sleep." We got under the covers and I cuddled up next to him. "Good night. I love you." he said. "I love you, too." I said back.

Well, I know I'm really going to miss listening to his heart beat when I fall asleep. It's so soothing. And I'm going to miss his warmth. His gentle touch. His soothing voice when he sings to me. His passionate kisses. Everything. I just hope I can get it all back soon. Cause I don't think I can go very long without it.
