6. First Fight Is The Worst

*2 Months Later*

2 months. 2 whole months. That's how long it's been since I've seen Harry. Our daily Skype calls and constant texts have turned into 1-2 texts a day. It's heartbreaking. I know he's busy and I respect that, but I mean, we just got married right before he left for the tour. You'd think he'd try to do more to see me.

Those weird texts and calls have continued every day, but I've just learned to ignore them. I'm sure they're just some stupid kid trying to have a little fun. At least I hope they are...

I woke up feeling more miserable than usual. I got out of bed and wobbled downstairs. My birthday was in a week, I'd be turning 20, and I'm pretty sure none of the boys were going to make it. Their schedule is totally full with concerts, interviews and tons of other stuff.

I was sitting on the couch, sadly eating my bowl of cereal when I decided to check my Twitter.

@1D_Rockz: @HaleyStyles0214 Are you and Harry still together?

@HaleyStyles0214: @1D_Rockz Yeah...why do you ask?

@1D_Rockz: @HaleyStyles0214 Well Harry was on a date with Kylie Jenner so I thought maybe...

@HaleyStyles0214: @1D_Rockz I don't know. I'm sure they were just hanging as friends.

I turned on the news. Sure enough, there was a picture of Harry taking Kylie Jenner out to dinner. The tears started to fall down my face. I'm sure Harry was just being nice, but still. I started sobbing. I missed Harry more than anything. And knowing that he is just spending his time with other girls when he's not with me is horrible. And I can't do anything about it.

I let out a big sob when there was a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it. "Hey, girl! Wanna go-" Eleanor started before noticing how horrible I looked. "Haley, what's wrong, love?" she asked with concern in her voice. I motioned her to come in. I brought her to the living room and pointed to the TV. "Oh, Haley. I'm sure it's nothing. Just a friendly gesture probably." she reassured me.

"And I-I just m-miss Harry s-so m-much." I sobbed. "Aww, Hal. I know how you feel. I miss Louis so much. But it's okay. We'll see them again soon." El told me. "That's what you said 2 months ago." I pointed out. She sighed. "I'm sorry. I can only imagine how hard it is for you to be away from your husband. But I know he misses you just as much as you miss him." I sniffled and nodded. She pulled out her phone and dialed Louis' number. She put him on speaker.

"Hello?" he answered sleepily. He must have been sleeping.

"Louis, it's Eleanor. Can you tell Harry to Skype Haley?"

"I don't know. He's sleeping and if I bother him he'll hurt me."

"I don't care! Tell him his wife is crying!"

"Aww, okay. I'll wake him."

There was a moment of silence.

"Ouch!" Louis yelled.

"Louis! Leave me alone!" I heard Harry groan.

"Haley's sad! She needs to talk to you!" Louis told him.

"Wow, I've never seen that boy jump out of bed so fast." Louis chuckled.

"Haha, thanks, babe." El laughed.

Her and Louis started to talk. I waited a moment for Harry to Skype me. My laptop started to ring. I answered it. Harry's face popped up on the screen. Seeing his face made me smile, since I haven't Skyped him in about a week.

"Hi, baby!" Harry said excitedly. "Hi." I said, my eyes starting to fill with tears again. "Aww, what's wrong, love?" he asked, sounding concerned. "I-I miss you." I stuttered. He sighed. "Oh Haley, I miss you, too." I started to cry again. Harry's eyes started to well up with tears as well.

"It's been so hard without you," I explained. "Every day I wake up expecting you to be there laying next to me, but you're not. I start every morning with sadness. And it's awful to always see you in the news or in a magazine with some girl. Like this morning, someone on Twitter thought we broke up because you were out with Kylie Jenner." Harry interrupted me. "We were just hanging out as friends, I promise. Haley, I'd never ever cheat on you. We're married now. I hate that people don't leave us alone. I'd never leave you, you know that."

I sighed and nodded. I looked up at Harry. He was crying, also. "I know. And I'm sorry for bringing all this out on you but I really needed to hear your voice again. It's's just sometimes I feel like you don't try hard enough to see me." I told him. "Haley, I so try to see you. Every day I beg management to let me go home and see you. But we're just so busy with the tour and everything." he said. "I know, but we just got married, Harry. I haven't seen you in two months. Do you know how much that hurts me to be away from you and to know that you can't come home? My birthday is in a week and you probably won't even be able to come home for that." I said, raising my voice a little.

"Haley, I want to come home! But I can't just leave!" Harry yelled. "What matters more, you're stupid job or me?!" I yelled back. "Well, my "stupid job" is what gets us money. One of us has to have work, you know!" "I just wish you would come home!" I sobbed. "I can't just leave the tour to see you! I am very busy! Why can't you get that through that stupid head of yours?!" Harry yelled.

Everyone went silent. Harry's face softened as he realized what he said. "Haley, I-" he started. I shook my head. "Forget it." I told him and slammed the computer shut. I stood up and ran upstairs. "Haley, wait!" Eleanor called after me. I went into my room and closed the door and locked it. I slammed my back against the wall and slid down to the floor. I held my tear streaked face in my hands.

Eleanor pounded on the door. "Haley, please let me in." she begged. "J-Just leave m-me a-alone." I sobbed. I heard her let out a long sigh. Just then my phone started to ring. I looked at it. Harry. Decline. He texted me.

Haz<3: Haley I'm so sorry! It just slipped out. I didn't mean it. Please call me! xx

I ignored him. "Hal, Louis wants to talk to you." Eleanor told me. "Yeah, right. It's probably just Harry." I told her. "No it's Louis. Not Harry. I promise." she said. I sighed an opened the door and stuck my hand out. She handed me her phone. I hope it's not Harry. Because I'm not in the mood to talk to him.

Louis' P.O.V.

"Why can't you get that through that stupid head of yours?!" I heard Harry scream. Eleanor and I went stopped talking. I looked over Harry. I could tell by the look on his face that he regretted saying that. "Haley, I-" he started. "Forget it." Haley said and ended the Skype call. "Haley wait!" Harry called. She had already hung up.

I said a quick goodbye to Eleanor and walked over to Harry. I sat down on the couch next to him. "It just slipped out." he told me, still staring at his computer. "I'm sorry, mate. This first fight is always the worst." I pointed out. He chuckled. "Tell me about it."

He pulled out his phone and called her. He left her a message and then texted her. He was about to call her again when I stopped him. "Whoa, slow down there. Give her some time to cool down. She just needs to get herself together." I told him. He sighed and nodded. He wiped away a tear that was about to fall.

I put my hand on his shoulder. "If it makes you feel any better, I'll talk to her." I told him. He looked up at me. "That'd be great. Thanks, bro." he said. I smiled and gave him a hug. "No prob." I said and stood up. I went into another room and called Eleanor, knowing that Haley probably wouldn't answer her phone.

"Hello?" El answered.

"Hey, babe. Can I talk to Haley, please?" I asked. There was a moment of silence.

"Okay. Here she is." Eleanor told me.

"Hello?" Haley said in a sad voice. I knew she had been crying.

"Hey, Hal. It's Louis." I told her.

"Hi, Lou." she said quietly.

"Listen, I'm not going to force you to talk to Harry. But just know that he is truly sorry and you should consider forgiving him."

She sighed. "But what about my birthday?"

Oh, yeah. I forgot about her birthday next week. "I...I don't know. I'm sure we'll make it somehow. At least Harry will. Trust me, he wouldn't miss your birthday for the world."

I heard her start to cry again. "Aww, Haley! Don't cry! I promise we'll make it somehow." I told her.

She sniffled. "Okay."

I smiled. "Listen, we have to go to rehearsals. Please consider forgiving Harry. And please do it before the concert tonight! Otherwise he won't sing from the heart. And he always sounds so sad when he doesn't sing from the heart."

"Okay. I guess I'll call him later. Just give me a while to calm down."

"Okay, thanks. Bye! I love you!"

She laughed. "Love you, too! Bye."

I hung up the phone and walked back into the living room. Harry was waiting for me. "Well?" he asked. "She'll call you later. She jut needs a while to calm down." I told him. He smiled. "Okay. Thanks, Lou. I owe you one."

I went and started to change out of my pajamas. I really hope we can make it back for Haley's birthday. I know Harry will for sure. He would probably skip a concert any day to see his girl, especially on her special day. If there was going to be a 6th member in the band, it would be Haley. We all are really close with her. She is like our...umm, sister, I guess. Well, Harry's wife but you get the picture. I just really hope we can talk management into letting all of us spend a few days in Cheshire next week...
