Pulling apart the curtain was the hardest part, since she had so much light to show the world.
But from the moment I saw her, I knew she would have an effect on my life. Maybe not at first, but underneath, I saw the beauty bright enough to light a thousand lanterns. the lanterns that would lift her up.
Catherine, the name worth of a million dreams.

2. chapter 2

Catherines POV:

I have a habit, I look at my feet when I walk. Its always been like that.

I've been taking the same route to school for 4 years, so I know where to dodge or where to avoid, and the good thing is, I don't even  have to keep my head up.

When I get to school, I see all of the other seniors in their new cars.

I did pass my driving test, But walking gives me time to clear my head.

There is a giant pile of leaves right outside the school, and when I say giant, I mean MASSIVE. It completely cut of the entrance to the school, and if you did walk through it, Your pants would get soaked from the soggy leaves.

Its Probably one of the "Pranks" by the freshman. I'm sorry, but there just SO immature!

Yesterday, when I was walking to spanish, a saw a few freshman laughing the heads of, and as I looked the room they were standing outside of, which was the science room, I saw the room was filled with suds.

The classic 'baking soda' prank.

So I went to back door of the school, which was good, because its right near my first period class.

I would take this door everyday, but students are 'supposed' to take the front door.

As I walk to my first period, which is English A1, I stop at my locker to get my supplies for my next period.

English is one of my favorite classes, And I get good grades in that class.

I usually get good grades, I dedicate a lot of time for school, and dance. It seems like I'm just to busy to have time for anything else.

I guess thats why I don't have many friends.

There is usually one person who will say "hi" to me in the hallways, but other than that, I don't really have friends. As I said before, I don't have the time to hang out, really.

But lately I have been considering joining the cheer squad, but I don't know if i'm going to try out or not.

Cheer try-outs are 3 days, and the idea is still in my head.

I'm torn between what I should do.

"ATTENTION STUDENTS" I hear the announcer say, and suddenly everything in my head disappears and i'm listening to the announcements.

"I HOPE YOUVE HAD A GOOD DAY SO FAR" the announcer says.

I sort of zone out after that, I was trying to get to english.

I open the door to classroom A1, english.

I sat down at my desk and started doing the warm up.

The day pretty much went on like that until lunch.

I always eat lunch in the library, or in the courtyard.

Today I ate in the courtyard, and for lunch I had a tuna fish sandwich and an apple. As I sit down, I open "War and Peace".

I had to read "War and Peace" for Reading C4, and it was captivating.

Each word I read made me long for freedom, the ability to go anywhere, to do anything.

But then remembering, That even freedom has its disadvantages.

After lunch, the day continues on, until 2:45 when we are dismissed.

And as soon as I get home, I flop on my bed.

After staying like that for about 5 minutes, I start my homework, with lilac snuggling up to my binder, which makes me laugh.

Soon after I eat dinner, I watch a littleT.V, and soon found myself falling asleep to the sound of "Drake and Josh" in the backround.
