10. Plan B

I snapped open my eyes when I felt a jolt on my arm. Seconds after I opened my eyes, I felt the pain surge around my arm and it caused me to scream out loud.

“Shut the fuck up!” A female voice boomed. “Why do you have to be so fucking difficult? Why can't you just do what you're told? This could have being avoided!”

I ignored whoever was yelling at me and looked to my arm, a blade was stuck in my arm and the sight caused all the blood in my face to drain away. I began to breath heavily and pain working it's way to my chest.

I was stabbed.

“Omigod, omigod, omigod, omigod, omigod, omigod-”

“Shut the fuck up!” The female voice screamed again.

I looked to my right and seen Jamie, she wasn't coming into focus very well though but I knew it was her, I remembered she was wearing that beautiful red dress.

“I'm bleeding, Jamie. Someone stabbed me, I’m bleeding to death. It hurts real bad, please, please help me-”

“Shut up!” She screamed and moved towards me. “Why are you talking so fast? Shut the hell up!”

I felt the pain of her slap across my face before I detected her hand even moving.

The pain in my chest was heavier and hurting even more now and my head hurt with confusion.

Why was Jamie hitting me?

“Jamie!” A male voice screamed.

I knew it was Tony when I felt his hand brushed across my forehead. “What did you do?” He snarled when he seen my arm.

“She was freaking out in her sleep so I wanted to shut her up! She keeps talking real fast though and is breathing weird.”

I felt myself trying to move to her, I tried to swing at her and I even let out a viscous scream in her direction.

“Damn it, she is having an episode. I told you she suffers from Bi Polar! You stupid little bitch!” Tony yelled as he pinned me down.

I lowered my head, suddenly feeling extremely tired. I ignored the sound of a smack and the whimper that followed because the pain in my arm was pulsing.

“Kyah? Open your eyes Sweet Pea,” Tony's voice lulled me.

I dipped my head but suddenly jerked and screamed when more pain flooded my arm.

“Sorry, Sweet Pea. I had to removed the blade.” Tony said then wrapped something around my arm, tightly.

He had to remove the blade? Jackson always told me never remove a blade or object from a person if stabbed because it could cause more damage by hitting an artery and result in them bleeding out.

At the thought of my oldest brother, Harley and Justin soon popped into my head. Flashes of them fighting there way through a maze flooded into my head, I remember them in The Arena and I remembered them winning it but just after I yelled at Tony to let me down to them, something hit the back of my head, knocking me out.

I being rambling, speaking fast and not really making any sense. My head felt like it was getting heavier by the second, I think the pain in my arm was knocking me out or really dazing me.

Just as I closed my eyes I heard a sigh. “Jamie, get me a blanket and a clean cloth from that case there. I need to keep her bleeding under control. I'll have Lex clean her up properly when you two get back to the warehouse. I'll check on her when I get back from my meeting with The Arena head team later. I’m looking forward to doting my prize money on my Sweet Pea.” Tony's voice cooed.

There was movement and a whimper. “Okay...I'm sorry uncle Tony, I didn't mean to upset you.”

Tony sighed again and brushed my fringe from my hair as he pressed down on my arm, applying more pressure.

“It's okay, Doll.”

I wanted to question the whole 'uncle Tony' thing because that was just too messed up to be true but the heaviness of my eyelids and the pounding in my head wouldn't allow it, instead, I drifted off into a deep sleep where dreams of Harley and Justin and my other brothers shouting out to me to tell them where I was.

They couldn't hear me when I screamed though.

No one did.

“The cowardly son of a bitch!“ Jackson growled as Harley and I finished explaining what happened in The Arena.

I nodded my head in agreement. “I knew the chances of him keeping our deal where slim to none, but I sort of hoped he would have honour his word to some extent.” I sighed, shaking my head as I applied ice to my left eye that was bruise and swollen, like other parts of my face and body.

Dante shook his head angrily as he leaned his head against the steering wheel of the car we were in.

I reached over with my free hand and patted his back, to show a little comfort. “We're going to get her back man, I’m not leaving this city without her!”

He nodded his head without looking away from the steering wheel. “I’ve never ever wanted to kill someone but I really think it would make me happy to gut this son of a bitch.”

I leaned my head back. “I know how you feel man.”

Dante sat back as well and looked to me then into the back seat to Jackson and Harley. “Are we ready to go, because I’m leaving now.”

I nodded my head. “I'm good to go.”

“Me too,” Jackson and Harley chimed in.

Dante snorted looking at me then to Harley. “You both look like you got hit by a truck.”

Harley grinned. “Nope, just eighteen or so guys we bumped into in a maze. Some of them could punch like being hit by a truck though.”

I laughed then winced, cupping my injured jaw. “I agree.” I rasped out making everyone laugh.

When we quieted down, I side looked at Dante who reached for the keys, turning them causing the engine to rumble to life. He pulled onto the road and tapped his finger on the screen of the GPS.

“You put the directions into that already?” I asked Dante.

He nodded. “Did it this morning when I checked that app on your phone. I had a feeling we would have to go in there a get her back, Tony is too much of a snake to keep his words.”

“Amen.” Harley grunted from behind then sighed loudly.

I rolled my eyes. “What's the matter with you?” I asked.

He huffed. “My balls are killing me, man.”

I looked over my shoulder and glared at him. “Your balls are killing you, really?”

Harley nodded. “That dude inside the cage twisted my dick all kind of ways just to get me to the mat, I feel violated!”

Jackson laughed. “Get Anna to kiss it better.”

Harley smirked towards him while I was still looking at Harley, pissed the fuck off.

“I got kicked in the nuts so hard it made me puke. I was walking around that damn maze like John Wayne because I was in that much pain!”

“That rhymed.” Dante snorted.

I punched his arm.

He hissed. “What? It did rhyme!” He grunted then said, “Asshole.”

I rolled my eyes and turned back to the front and used my ice pack to ice my balls which made the guys laugh.

“Fuck off.” I spat. ”This hurts like hell.”

Jackson patted my shoulder but continued to laugh at me just like the other guys.

Bastards, that's all they are is a bunch of fucking bastards.

I leaned my head back and sighed, my balls were killing me and so was the rest of my body but I focused my mind on forcing that pain aside. Only a little while longer until I had Kyah in my arms, that would make it all better.

“So... I’m thinking of asking Baila to marry me.” Jackson randomly said from behind.

“WHAT?” Harley, Dante and I screamed in unison.

Dante even swerved the car a little but got it under under control fast, he did stop and park though.

At the same time we turned around in our seats to face Jackson who was grinning at our shocked facial expression. I glanced to Harley who eyes where practically hanging out of his head.

He shook his head. “What did you just say?” He asked.

Jackson laughed. “I'm thinking of asking Baila to marry me.”

Harley just stared at Jackson then reached up and slapped him across the face.

I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing but Dante nudged me shutting me up. Jackson reached up and rubbed his cheek then glared at Harley.

“What the fuck was that for?” He hissed.

Harley waddled his finger at him. “I'm trying to knock some sense into you.. literally. You're talking crazy, bro.”

Jackson rolled his eyes. “It's not crazy, I love Baila. I want to be with her forever.”

Dante fake gagged which made me snort again, Harley chuckled as well but stopped when he looked at Jackson stern face.

“Holy shit, are you actually serious right now?” Harley gaped.

Jackson nodded his head. “I wouldn't say it if I wasn't serious.”

I blinked and just stared at Jackson, I could tell from the look on his face that he was dead fucking serious.

Holy fuck shit.

Dante scrubbed his face with his hands. “You're twenty four, man. Why the fuck do you want to get married? I mean, Baila is great and hot as hell but do you really want to be tied down to her forever, cause that's marriage man. You will practically be handing her your balls to carry around in her purse, she will own them nuts.”

I laughed at Dante and Harley snorted while Jackson shook his head, grunting.

“That's not marriage man, I mean that's some peoples marriage but Baila and I won't change or end up bitter. Everything will be the same except she will live with me and have my last name. I know she is mine and that we are meant to be together, the thought of her being with another guy is enough to make me kill someone. I want her as my wife. I know we have just been dating a few months but I want her as my wife, end of.”

I once again was reduced to just starring at Jackson while Dante let his jaw drop.

Harley was the first to speak. “Well, fuck me side ways.”

Jackson laughed at that. “Why are you all so surprised, I mean, you want Anna forever... right?”

Harley shrugged. “Yeah but I’m not thinking marriage, man. We aren't even living together, we're only together a few months so marriage is too soon for me. I'll let a few years pass before I pop the question that will officially mean I’m pussy whipped.”

We all snorted at that.

“That fine for you man, you know you will ask her to marry you eventually. That's no different to me, I’m just choosing to do it now instead of later.” Jackson explained before looking to Dante.

“And I don't get why you're taking like the way you are, out of all of us, you should be the one down on one knee to Rayne. You're dating her nearly five years or something.”

Dante grunted. “Yeah, I know that and I know I’ll be with her till I’m old and wrinkly and shit but that doesn't mean I’m asking her to marry me. I’m nineteen man, I don't want to worry about being her husband and the responsibilities that come along with it, I’m happy with being her boyfriend for the time being.”

Jackson smiled. “Like I said to Harley, that's great for you but I want Baila as my wife now.”

I raised my eyebrows. “Now as in now, now?”

Jackson laughed. “As soon as possible.”

“Wow,” I muttered making him laugh again.

“And you!” Jackson grinned. “You want Kyah forever, right?”

His eyes narrowed then making me lick my slightly swollen bottom lip as I cleared my throat.

“Yeah, I do but I don't have a plan to ask her to marry me yet, I do have a plan to ask for us to live together but that's all for the time being.”

Jackson seemed satisfied with that answer and nodded at me.

Dante sighed out loud then. “Why did you bring this up now? My head hurts even more now.”

Jackson shrugged. “I wanted to take everyone's minds of what's going to go down at the warehouse for a bit. Plus, I had to talk to someone about this, it's been eating me alive.”

I laughed. “Well, it worked, all I can think of now is how Baila will react when you pop the question.”

Jackson paled a little making me smile.

“She will say yes, don't worry about that. I mean I just wonder if she will scream or cry... probably both.” I grinned.

Jackson laughed, lightly. “Yeah, once she says yes, I don't care what she does.”

Dante snorted. “Never say that to a women, it gives them the illusion that they can do whatever they want.”

We burst out laughing at that.

“Do you think she knows what you're up to?” I asked. “I mean, those three have been acting weird lately.”

Jackson shook his head. “Noway, I've only being thinking about this the past week or so. The rest of my mind time is on Kyah so I have let anything slip.”

Harley crinkled his brow. “Then what the hell is up with Anna and the others? I mean, whatever those girls are up to it managed to shut Rayne up and the Lord knows how much that girl likes to talk. It must be something big to keep her quiet.” He grumbled.

Dante paled then. “You don't think one of them are sick do you?” He asked, panicked.

I shook my head even though I wasn’t sure what they were hiding. “I doubt it, I bet it's something stupid and they just didn't want to annoy us with it because we had The Arena and Kyah on our minds.”

Harley lick his lips then nodded his head. “Yeah, I bet you're right.”

I grinned. “Of course I’m right, aren't I always.”

“Cocky bastard.” Harley grunted making me laugh.

Dante chuckled as he turned around and restarted the car, pulling us back onto the road.

“You guys will come with me to get her an engagement ring... right?” Jackson asked a few minutes of silence later.

There was a slapping noise then a yelp. “Harley, stop slapping me!”

“I will when you stop saying crazy shit around me!” Harley retorted making me and Dante snicker.

Jackson muttered cursed worse then sighed. “So is that a no? You're really going to let me pick a ring out on my own? You're my brothers and you man,” Jackson kicked my seat, “You're my future bro in law.”

My breath hitched and Dante burst out laughing.

I glared at him but stayed silent.

Harley was the first one to groan. “Sorry man, I love you in all cause you're my bro but engagement ring shopping isn't something I'm doing for a few years.”

Dante smiled a little then glanced back to Jackson then back to the road. “Why don't you just ask Kyah when she is home? You can't ask Rayne or Anna because they will let it blurt out to Baila but Kyah won't, she can keep a secret.”

Things were silent for a second.

“Yeah,” Jackson beamed. “I'll ask Kyah, who better to help me pick out an engagement ring than my little sister.”

I smiled for two reasons. I know Kyah would be stoked to find out Jackson wants to marry Baila and would be helping him choose the perfect ring but also because it meant I didn't have to go with them.

That would just be uncomfortable for everybody, I wouldn't have a clue what to do. I guarantee I would pick out a ring that would get me put in the dog house so I’m just keeping out of it.

My head was wrapped around Jackson and Baila so when the GPS beeped, it startled me.

“You have reached your destination.” The GPS voice announced.

I swallowed and looked out the car windows. It was past midnight now and very dark but it was clear that we were in a industrial estate full of factories and warehouses.

“Which warehouse?” I asked, whispering.

Dante looked at the GPS the glanced upward. “That one, the one with the spotlights.” He said, his voice low.

I nodded. “Okay,” I said as I unbuckled my seatbelt.

I don't know why I was whispering, I’m guessing it was because I was uneasy. I – like the other guys – didn't know where Kyah was inside this building, we were practically going in blind so we had to be extra careful.

“If I say I’m scared, does that make me a bitch?” Dante asked still looking ahead.

I shook my head. “No man,” I assured him. “I'm scared as well, we want this to go right but we know it can go very wrong and wrong means someone dies, we wouldn't be human if we weren’t scared.”

I felt a pat on my shoulder. “Thanks for that Dr. Phil, it eased my nerves.” Harley's voice whispered sarcastically.

I snorted still looking out the car windows. ”Fuck you.”

“Nah,” Harley snorted. “You aren't my type.”

I rolled my eyes and I released a breath. “What's the best way to do this?” I asked getting serious.

Jackson cleared his throat. “We can't go up to the front gate, that much is obvious so we will have to split up into twos and take the building sides and find the entrances. Harley will be with me and Dante with you Justin. We need to be quiet as possible and practically invisible. If we come across some guards or whatever knock them out but try not kill them... unless you have no other choice.” I heard movement then a click that to me sounded like a weapon.

I turned around just as a black handgun was pushed towards my face.

“Jesus Christ,” I breathed as I took hold of it.

It felt heavier and bulker than what I thought a gun would be but I grew used to it pretty quick. I glanced up and watched as Jackson pulled the side panel of his door off taking out other handguns for the guys followed by vest which he handed us.

I examined the black vest with a raised eyebrow. “A bulletproof vest... really?”

Jackson shrugged. “Better safe than sorry.”

I shrugged then removed my tee shirt carefully trying not to groan, my ribs were killing me. I shook off the pain and secured the vest to my body then put my tee back on followed by a hoodie I packed.

The guys did the same with their vests and clothes.

Jackson then handed us each a very sharp hunting knife and a shin strap.

I shook my head as I pulled up my sweats and attached the strap to my shin then slide the knife into it.

“Who the hell is your dad? I mean, how does he have friends that will get him this stuff.” I grumbled.

Dante shrugged looking as amazed as me. “Beats the hell out of me, I thought he was just the dean of a university.”

“He is just a dean, he just is good friends with people who you don't fuck with.” Jackson chimed in.

Harley snorted. “It's handy for us right about now so I really don't give a fuck who they are.”

I nodded in agreement then released a breath when I was all geared up.

“I'm ready,” I muttered.

“Me too,” The guys said in unison.

I turned and looked to the guys, their faces were looking a little glum.

“If anything happens in there...” I paused and took a breath. “To any of us, we have to swear that if we're still on our feet, Kyah is the only one we focus on getting out.”

The guys nodded in agreement.

“She is all that matters.“ Dante said, his voice firm.

I reached my hand out and guy hugged him the leaned into the back and guy hugged the other two.

I glanced at the clock again and smiled. “Happy New Years, dudes.”

They guy snorted and repeated what I said.

We then silently slipped out of the car, I lingered by by side of the door while Dante came around to where Jackson and Harley where next to me.

Jackson pulled the two of them into a hug. “Don't go getting killed little brothers, dad will chew my ass out if you do.”

The guys chuckled lightly but quietened down and shared a tight three way hug. There where no jokes about being gay for holding on to long or any teasing of any sort. It was simply three brothers saying I love you and goodbye in case it was the last time they got to say it to each other.

It made me choke up a little so I looked away, they didn't tease each other but they would sure as hell let lose the homo jokes if they new how sappy I was feeling.

I would be called a bitch for sure.

A clamp on my shoulder startled me.

“Ready bro?” Dante voice asked, lowly.

I nodded then guy hugged Harley and Jackson once more. “Put your phones on silent, we'll do the same with ours. Text me if you guys find her and we will do the same with you.”

They nodded then with one final looked the creped to the right side of the warehouse compound.

“Come on, Dante.” I whispered.

We hunched low and scurried towards the fence that surround the warehouse compound. I quickly scaled over the fence when the spotlight passed by and was soon followed by Dante. There were a lot of crates scattered around the compound. Lots of then where for bricks and concrete but I knew it was just a front, no way did Tony deal with minerals as I business that wasn't exciting enough for the scum bag.

I peeked over the crates and noticed one guy sitting next to a door at the side of the huge warehouse. It was obviously a side entrance.

The guy was leaning back on a chair puffing away on a cigarette or joint of some sort. I couldn't see any weapons but that didn't mean he didn't have any on him.

I nudged Dante when I hunched back down to were he was crouching.

“I'll take care of that guy then drag him behind one of these crates when the spotlight goes by again. I'll wave you over when it's done. Okay?”

Dante nodded, he didn't look nervous any more. He just looked determined and I was grateful for that, nerves are great for keeping you alert but they can be a bastard for making you mess up and messing up is something we cannot afford to do right now, not when it involved getting Kyah back.

Twenty seconds passed until the spotlight drifted by the crate in front of us. I didn't hesitated as I moved from behind the crate, I kept crouched as I moved quickly towards the guys.

When I neared the guy I held my breathe in case it alerted him to my presence. He didn't seem to notice me though as he continued smoking and knocking back some liquid in a flash that smelled strongly of a spirit.

I glanced around before I pounced on the guy from behind. I wrapped my arm around the guys neck and tightened my grip, cutting off his air supply. It didn't take long for him to limp. I quickly let go just as he conked out, I could feel his pulse in his neck still. It was a little slower now but it was still there as I dragged the guy behind a large crate then hid him between a further two. His chest was rising and falling when I checked him over, he was alive, just knocked out. I patted him down and grabbed the keys I felt in his pocket. Under his shirt was a tazer gun, I grinned wide when I took it.

That would be easier to use than a gun, less noisy and less bloody. Plus, it would hurt like hell as well.

When I emerged from the crates I waved Dante over and he sprinted like his life depended on it. When he reached my side we quickly moved to the door. I fumbled with the keys for a second when the handle of the door didn't budge, I took a breathe and placed a key in the door and sighed when it clicked it open.

Dante and I entered the warehouse and gasped when we seen a huge white hallway in front of us.

“Fuck man,“ Dante whispered. “This reminds me of the saw films for some reasons.”

My heart hammered and my stomach lurched. “Dude, you know I’m afraid of that little fucker on the bicycle in those films. Don't freak me out more than I already am, I’m trying to focus here, stop scaring me.”

Dante snorted but stopped when we noticed a door on our left.

I heard laughter coming from it.

I crouched before it and peek in through the key hole. The first thing I seen was monitors.

I gasped a leaned back. “Shit, we have to get in there,” I whispered to Dante. “It's a control room. The placed is covered in cameras. They must be preoccupied that the haven't notice us or the guys creeping around yet.”

Dante nodded and uncovered his gun.

I shoot my head and took out the taser gun I swiped from the guard outside.

“Where did you get that?” Dante whispered.

I grinned. “The dude outside.”

“Nice,” Dante approved.

I nodded then very slowly and carefully tested the handle on the door. The door opened without noise so I looked to Dante and nodded.

“Now,” I whispered as I opened the door.

I stepped inside followed by Dante, two guys where laughing and cheering with there backs to us.

“Pass the mother fucking ball.” One guy screamed making me jump a little.

I noticed that they where watching a football game rather than the monitors, I silently thanked God for football in that moment.

I pointed the taser gun to the back of the guy in front of me. “Who's winning?” I asked sarcastically as I pulled the trigger.

The guy's body erupted into a fit of shakes as volts of electricity surged through him. The guy next to him yelped but went silent seconds later when Dante used the handle of his gun to whack at his head, knocking the guy out instantly.

I got rid of the used volt strings hanging from the tazer gun then clipped the a fresh set from the magazine into the barrel of the taser gun.

I grabbed the weapons from the bodies in front of us and tossed them into the bin in the room.

“Whenever somebody comes in here and finds them, I doubt they will think any guns are in there. They will think we took them.” I explained to Dante who was watching me.

He nodded then turned to the monitors scanning the different screens.

“There's the guys.” He said pointing to a monitor that showed the guys crouching around tables in what looked like a huge room, the room was badly lit so you couldn't really see them which was good.

It meant no one else would see them either.

I glanced to the other monitors and gasped. “Is that Kyah?” I asked pointing to a screen the had break room written above it.

Dante looked to the screen and tilted his head a little. “I can't tell, It's two girls but they're lying down facing away from the camera.”

I glanced around the other monitors and just seen some guards hanging around smoking and drinking.

One or two where headed into a group of tent cubicles looking things in the huge room where Harley and Jackson where.

I flipped a switch turning all the monitors off then took out the tapes that where recording whatever was picked up on them.

I began pulling the film from the tape and ripped them up then threw them in the bin, destroying any video evidence of us and the guys been on here.

“Let's go to this break room.” I said to Dante who nodded in agreement.

When exited the control room and began jogging down the long white hallway. When we came to a left and right turn, I turned because there was a few doors down that end and a dead end. We could check those room out first the head right.

Dante followed me and began testing the handle on some doors. Surprising they each opened but only contained stakes of what was obviously drugs and packed up money.

“Damn, this mother fucker is loaded.” Dante muttered and he closed a door over.

I huffed. “It's dirty money.”

He nodded then tested the handle of the last door but grunted when it wouldn’t open, I tested the door with the key I had but it wouldn't open.

“Fuck.” I hissed.

“Let's check up the other way. We might find a guard with a key to this room.” Dante suggested.

I nodded as we began jogging down towards the hallway which seem longer and didn't have any doors like the one before us did. It had a left turn though which led to a door that read 'kitchen', another one that had a red plus on it. I guessed that to be a medic room of some sort. Another door had 'dining room' on it also, I pressed on ahead ignoring those room and headed for the room the hand large brown double doors.

I pressed my ear to the door but didn't hear anything. The door opened easily enough but when Dante and I entered, it was empty.

It was obviously an office of some sort. It was big and had lots of furniture. There was no since of guards, Kyah or Tony for that matter. Dante closed the door behind us as I set out and searched the drawers of the desk looking for a key to the room that was locked. I couldn't find anything but paperwork of some sort.

I grunted. “Fuck, no key.”

Dante suddenly began waving his hands at me. “Hide, someone is coming.”

I looked around and was about to join Dante behind a big couch when the handle of the door wiggled. I dropped to my knees and crawled between the space under the desk.

Curse words filled the room as someone entered.

“Go get the smart mouthed bitch in the break room and see if it will calm her down, Lex.” A voice grunted. “Do this, Lex. Do that, Lex.”

The voice growled then. “I do fucking everything around here and I’m still running around doing things to keep that slut happy.”

I furrowed my eyebrows when I didn't heard another voice. I shook my eyes then, knowing this guy was pissed of and talking to himself. I recognised his voice though, I knew he was the fucker I talked to on the phone, the one who always answered instead of Tony. I clinched my fists so I didn't stand up and shoot him there and then, instead I stayed put and listened to him poking around at what I guessed was a cabinet before he continued cursing then left the room.

Dante and I stood up and shared at look. “That mother fucker is crazy.”

I nodded in agreement the creped towards the door, I opened it and peeked out. I watched the tall dark hair guy walk down the hallway towards the room that wouldn't open for us.

“I think he is going to open that room that was locked.” I said then went quiet again and listened.

Minutes passed until the silence was shattered by a scream, I knew it wasn't Kyah's scream though. I've heard her scream before and it was not as high pitched as that.

“Stop that fucking screeching, bitch.” The dude's voice from before yelled then a loud smack and a whimpered followed.

I clinched my fists but forced myself to stay still.

“Look, I'll make a deal with you okay? I won't hurt you if you come into the medic room and help Jamie with her swollen jaw while I bring blondie back to the break room.”

I heard a low voice agree then drift off down the hallway.

“Blondie? I think he is talking about Kyah.” Dante whispered.

I nodded. “We'll wait until he brings her to the break room then we will go down and get her. We will jump him before he can lock the door.” I stated.

Dante bumped fist with me in agreement.

We creped out of the room and down the hallway but froze in place when we heard a noise.

“My jaw is hurt though because of her. I don't want to help her!” A female voice screamed.

“Listen babe, just help her then you can come back here to me, okay?” The dude's voice said and sounded surprisingly calm.

“Why can't she help her?” The girls voice yelled.

There was a laugh then. “She is too weak to help support her weight, she's not strong like you.”

Things where silently then a grumbling and footsteps where sounded.

“I'll be right back.” The girls voice spat.

Dante and I widened our guys when two bodies rounded the corner in front of us, it was a girl in a stunning red dress practically half carrying and half dragging a blonde haired girl.

I knew it was Kyah straight away.

Dante started forward noticing it was her as well but I stopped him. I placed my finger to my lips and began walking behind the girls.

We kept checking behind us for that guy or any other guards.

None appeared as the girl before us dropped Kyah to the ground and opened the break room door with a key. She kicked Kyah while she down and tried to drag her into the room by her hair. Dante couldn't contain the growl that escape his throat, and before the girl got the chance to turn around or even scream. He dove forward knocking them both into the break room.

I heard a smacking noise then things went silent.

I forgot about it though when I kneeled beside Kyah. I reached out a touched her gently, half afraid she wasn't real and that my hand would go through her. When my fingers connected with her skin though I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding.

I leaned forward and turned her onto her back, she was breathing but she was unconscious. Her lips were slightly swollen and her body seemed smaller and more fragile than before.

She was still beautiful though, even with oddly whitish blonde hair.

“Kitten,” I whispered lowered my head to hers.

I touched my forehead off hers and felt a pull that hasn't been around me since the night she was taken.

“I'm here, baby.” I whispered, kissing her forehead. “I've got you and I’m not letting go.”

I scooped her up into my arms just as Dante appeared at the doorway.

“Kyah.” He breathed and stopped forward kissing her face.

He looked to me, tears in his eyes. “Is she okay.”

I didn't know for sure but I nodded because she breathing and right now, that was enough for me.

“Text the guys and lets get the fuck out of here.” I said glancing down the corridor. “Before that guy comes and looks for that chick in the red dress, It sounds like he is sweet on her.”

Dante nodded before he ran back into the break room, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I stepped into the room after him.

“Dude, what are you..” I paused when I seen him pick up an unconscious girl from the floor, “Doing?”

Dante turned to me, holding the girl close to him. “We can't just leave her here.”

I nodded, he was right, we had to get her and Kyah out.

“Lets go.” I said then left the room not bothering to look at the chick Dante knocked out.

We both ran down the hallways back the way we came into the warehouse. Kyah was light but running with her in my arms after a few minutes was proving difficult. I sucked it up though and powered ahead.

When I opened door leading to the outside area of the warehouse, I slowed down. “Keep away from the spotlight.”

Dante nodded, hiking the girl closer to him, tightening his grip on her.

We moved away from the door letting it close before we slipped back in between the crates, crouching as the spotlight past. When it was gone we made a beeline for the fence, Dante let the girl in his arms down to the ground, gently.

“Pass Kyah up to me then other girl and I’ll lift them over.” He said and he climbed up the fence, pausing at the top.

I lifted Kyah up to him just as two figures appeared on the other side of the fence. I sucked in a breath instead of screaming like a girl.

“You bastards!” I snapped when I seen it was Harley and Jackson.

They frightened the crap out of me.

They ignored me and helped steady the fence while Dante cradled Kyah to himself before passing her down to Harley waiting arms.

“Whose that?” Jackson asked as I bent down to picked up the girl.

“We found her in the same room the where taking Kyah too. We couldn't just leave her there.” Dante explained from a top the fence.

Jackson nodded his head like Harley. “No, you're right man. I would've done the same thing.”

The girl began to stir in my arms as I got a good grip on her.

“No.. stop,” she groaned.

“Shh,” I said, gently swaying her. “It's okay, sweetie. I've got you.”

She began whimpering and her drooped again. “No more... Just kill me, please.” She begged.

I froze to the spot, my heart clenching. “I'm not going to hurt you, sweetie. I promise.”

I gently gave her up to Dante who cradled her just like he did to Kyah before he passed her down to Jackson. Dante jumped off the fence while I began climbing over it.

“Let's get the fuck out of here.” I blurted, wincing from the pain in my balls.

The guys nodded and we all practically sprinted towards the car. Dante did a good fucking job of hiding the damn thing because we almost couldn't find it until he unlocked the car and the flash of the car lights got our attention. We piled into the car, Dante in the drivers seat, me in the passenger and the guys into the back with the girls.

Dante started the car and pulled out of his parking spot and quickly got onto the main road. We all kept checking the mirrors and looking behind us in case someone was following us. After ten minutes we realised no one was coming after us, that guy probably didn't even notice Kyah and the other girl was gone yet.

“I can't believe we got her out.” Dante hi-cupped.

I glanced to him and seen a tear on his cheek.

I patted his shoulder. “We got her man,” I glanced back and looked at Harley pressed his face on Kyah's forehead, his shoulders where shaking indicating he was crying.

I looked to Jackson who was crying as he looked at Kyah and held up the other unconscious girl.

I turned around to the front of the car and smiled. “We're bringing her home.”
