Kept clean : the continuation of Stained through

My Name is None short for No one but I know that I am a someone that has to save the world but now Heflin, my new found sister, is telling me about my past. Also I am starting to question Arrow's remarks and disigions. Can I keep the peace and for once be the someone that has done something to keep the past and save the future?

46. section 46

I felt the wind cut through me when I jumped. I knew that I had top place my sword just so the kill would be quick. I started to wonder if I don’t do what I was supposed to do then what?

I pushed the thought aside as I landed on the harsh scales that I knew I had to get a hold of a good grip fast or I might be kicked off very quickly. I knew that I had a good hold on one of my family member’s scales and was ready for a ride and that is exactly what he did.

I felt myself go on a wild ride since the beast started to charge everywhere. He was bashing me against the wall whenever he could. The bad thing was I had just found a good hold for a kill before it decided to take me on the ride.

I can feel my body crush itself on every wall and stone that we hit. One was a bit too much for me and I fell off and started to roll over myself. I tumbled again and again until I stopped and laid there for a bit as the hot breath of the beast told me that I was still alive for the moment. I heard Arrow calling for me in the distance while I kept my eyes closed but right as I opened them a big drop of drool started to fall towards me and splatted all over my face.

“Eew.” I thought as I quickly wiped the mess from my face just in time to see two claws come straight at me. I could hear a hiss of mettle on unbreakable claws was getting old to me and I wanted to see something that I could stick my sword and wound him but right now I couldn’t.

“Try to find something in the armor!” Arrow called out and I finally could see it. A hole in the slits of the plated armor where I think I could get to I just need one moment to slash my sword into it and this all could be over.

“I found one if I can get to it! Can I get some help?” I called out and then the beast eyes were turning yellow, a glow that I knew was the work of someone’s powers.

“I got it sis, with a bit of help from the crystal.” Heflin chimed and I was happy but I started to wonder how much longer these two could hold it but apparently not long at all as the jaws of my family member snapped out of the hold breaking it to where he could attack again but it left me enough room for me to use my arm as a shield and placing my sword right up the brim of his jawline that connected the throat. I slowly let it discharge itself as the beast let out a terrible roar that shattered the ceiling and a few rocks came and fell on the floor. I heard each thump as it was like a wall of chains and bars breaking one piece at a time and indicating freedom for all.

The falling rocks still didn’t help me much as pain shot up though me. I realize that one of the boulders was heading right to me! I tried to doge it but it scratched my right half nicely to where I could feel the cold of blood stick to my arm sleeve and paint leg. I knew this was not a good thing as I looked up to see more coming straight down and that the beast was starting to thrash about instead of roaring to be sure that there was obstacles for me to concord. However, the beast only made more work for him while one rock after the other fell over him and I dodged everything to where all that was left was resting and wait.

I knew that this was the only thing I could do since none of us had telegraphic powers but after the last boulder fell I was in shock. I managed to live though the entire ordeal of dodging attacks and rocks that I was trying to tack inventory of what happened.

“You did it None! You killed the beast!” Arrow cheered behind me and Whitewolf came over to pick me up and hoist on his shoulders but I refused. I had an eerie feeling that this was not over at all.

“Yeah, I, um, guess I did.” I shuttered thinking that this had to be a bit too simple to bring down if I needed to use my sword, last I heard.
