Change Your Life

“Holy shit,” I breathed out, feeling sick with excitement and nerves. Louis Tomlinson was in our hotel... Co-authored by Lozza (author of Laura's POV) & MisfiredSynapse (author of Kate's POV).

28. Laura's POV

Louis and I were now on our way back to his mum’s place after dropping Kate and Niall off. We had already been on the road for half an hour before I started getting bored. Cars aren’t that fun when there’s not much to do.

I sighed, looking out the window, watching the rain drops roll down the window. Yeah, it had started raining about ten-twenty minutes after we got on the road. “Laura? You alright?” I heard Louis’ concern voice ask, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked over at him and smiled, nodding my head at him, before looking back out the window. “Yeah, I’m alright. Just bored now.” I said, as the rain started lulling me to sleep.

I heard Louis chuckle as my eyes started drooping. “Go to sleep love, I’ll wake you when we get home.” I nodded my head, not really registering what he said; as I leaned back and let sleep overtake me.

The feeling of something covering was what woke me a few hours later. My eyes fluttered open and I looked around realising that I was in Louis’ room. He had obviously carried me in here; I smiled and rolled over so I was now lying on my back. Stretching hard, my back cracking, I rolled onto my side and frowned at the sight of empty sheets. With a groan, I slid out from the blankets and leapt across the hall for a quick shower; I heard voices downstairs and Louis was one of the loudest, so at least I knew where he was.

After my shower, and dressed in a pair of jeans and a warm, fluffy hoodie, I skipped down the stairs to Louis and Jay talking at the table. Both smiled as I walked in, kissed Louis on the cheek, hugged Jay, and grabbed the plate of eggs and bacon they'd put in the warmer for me.

"So, Louis tells me Kate arrived safely," Jay turned to me- Louis pouted at suddenly being ignored, earning himself a wink from me. "And Niall was delighted."

"If by delighted, you mean 'didn't stop staring', then yeah," I replied. Louis giggled and Jay grinned, nodding in approval.

"I'm so glad he's happy," she said warmly, her smile turning a little fond. She'd never met Kate but she obviously knew Niall; she sounded happy to hear their relationship was going as smoothly as mine and Louis'. If anything, Jay even sounded a little more happier about Niall and Kate than she did about Louis and me...

"What about me?" Louis asked, right on cue.

Jay laughed as she stood up to put his mug and hers in the sink. "And you, Louis. I'm so happy you both have found such lovely girls."

Louis rolled his eyes but smiled and kicked my foot lightly under the table. Jay kissed my head and I grinned back, as she waved us both goodbye and headed out to work- with a stern reminder for me to come back and say goodbye before I went back to Australia. Louis stood as I finished my breakfast; he grabbed my plate and put it in the dishwasher before I could get to it, then spun me under his arm until I was pinned between him and the sink. "So," he purred, dipping his head to nuzzle my neck. "What are we gonna do all morning..."

"Drive home," I answered, trying not to let myself get carried away. It was kind of hard when he was so handsy, but I certainly tried. "I wanna see Harry, Liam and Zayn again."

Sighing, Louis stepped back and shot me his best wounded-puppy look. "Spoilsport," he grouched, folding his arms petulantly. I giggled to myself and I kissed him softly. "Alright, alright. I suppose I did promise a guided tour of London."

"Exactly," I chirped, and skipped upstairs to grab whatever I had left. In less than ten minutes, Louis and I were back in his car and on the road to London. The music blared and we sung our hearts out, managing to get home just after lunch- Niall and Kate were polishing off a leftover pizza and were keen as anything to go sightseeing.

Liam had called yesterday, wondering if we wanted to go to a club with the others and some friends of his. So here I was, in mine and Louis’ room, trying to find something to wear to the club. The room was a bit of a mess, seeing how I had been throwing my clothes out of closet. I sighed as I sat down on the bed and looked at the mess I had made. “I guess I better clean this up before…”

“Laura?” I heard someone yell from downstairs, cutting me off. My eyes widened as I realised that it was Louis.

“Yeah?” I answered, walking out of the room to the top of the stairs.

“Harry and Gemma are here.” He said, smiling at me.

“Alright. Umm, can you send Gemma up here please? I need her help with something.” I said, biting my lip as I looked at the bedroom door way.

I didn’t wait for an answer as I made my way back into the room. A few minutes later Gemma walked into the room.

“Gemma, I need your help,” I started before she could even say anything. I was still sat in the middle of the piles of clothes, and held up a shirt helplessly.

Gemma was silent for a minute or two, before she burst into laughter and shut the door with a foot. “You’re worse than Harry,” she giggled, rolling her eyes as she cleared off a space on the bed. “Alright, what’s the occasion?”

“Clubbing,” I replied. “I’ve never been to a proper club before, so I’m stuck.”

“Which club?”

I cocked my head, straining to remember the name I’d overheard when Liam had called to invite us. “I think they said… The Clapping Monkey?”

“The Happy Monkey?” Gemma asked, quirking an eyebrow as I clicked my fingers in triumph and nodded. “Ah, yeah, that’s a fairly high-end club. Doesn’t allow cameras.”

“Seriously?” I blurted out, eyes wide. “None at all?”

Gemma shrugged. “So many celebrities go there, and had trouble with the tabloids. So they banned photography. Now, do you have anything black and white? It’ll look fab under the UV lights.”
