Set me free.

“Aidan, could you just shut the hell up?”
I stared out from my bedroom window, looking down at what looks like to be the most beautiful girl I've ever met. She had long shoulder length black hair, cute button nose and a thin pale pink lips which was curved into an angry scowl. The first thing about her that caught my attention was her eyes. They were in a light shade of purple. Suddenly, I felt like as if my heart was beating a loud drum in my chest. I felt a tingling sensation shot through my whole body. A feeling of great happiness overwhelmed me. I knew right there and then that my sad and lonely life was about to take a long road trip and possibly never return. It was worth it. Everything that I did was worth it. Finally, I would be able to hold her in my arms once again. My lips slowly curved into a small smile.
"Anna..." After waiting for hundreds of years, the one person that I have been waiting for has finally arrived.

1. Move in

I felt my back starting to ache as I slowly set down the last heavy suitcase down on the floor. My idiot of a brother did nothing, while I carry all of the things in, he just stood outside waiting, watching with slight amusement as I silently suffer all by myself. I cursed under my breath, blaming myself for letting him move in with me. It was all my fault, I should have known better than to let him live with me.

I sighed and stood back up, wiping the sweat off of my forehead.

"Well, that wasn't so bad was it?" Aidan chuckled, leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. I turned my head towards his direction, feeling very annoyed, and shot him a death glare. I wished looks could kill so I could get rid of Aidan for good.

"You're a real pain in the ass, you know that? I think I'm beginning to regret letting you move in with me." I said.

Aidan had a smug look on his face as he got himself off the door frame and made his way towards me. He stood in front of me, cupping my face in between his palms, leaning down and kissed my forehead. Him being taller than me and shit kinda made me feel a little upset considering that I'm his older sister but people always think the other way round.  "Aww, sis don't be mad. I lwove chu." He chuckled and quickly pecked my lips.

I pushed his hands away from my face, feeling shocked, and quickly wiped my lips on the sleeve of my shirt. Ew, how dare he!

"Bitc- "

"BEEP!" Aidan laughed and ran away. I shook the horribly disgusting moment off my mind and chased after him. That idiot was about to get his bubble ass beat! Don't ask how I know he have a bubble butt. I don't wish to revive those horrible memories. I saw Aidan running up the wooden stairs before disappearing into the hallway.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of a door shut.

"AHA!" I shouted, running up the stairs.

When I reached upstairs, I opened the first door nearest to the staircase and went in. I looked around at the emptiness, that idiot was no where in sight. I went to the second room, not here either. Which left me to the final conclusion that he was definitely going to be in the third room. I plastered on an evil grin and went to open the door to the third room. Unsurprisingly, the door was locked.

"Oh, so he thought I couldn't get in huh. What a fool!" I chuckled evilly. I was quite pleased with myself, for being able to remember the line from my drama script in sixth grade, but was also pretty pissed considering I had only ONE job to do during the play, and that was to say the stupid line when it was my turn but guess what? YEAH YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I forgot the damn line and even pissed my pants in front of the crowd. It was so embarrassing

I sighed and shook my head, see what I mean by not wanting to revive the horrible moments? It took my focus away from my main objective. I fished out the old house's keys. The keys were like old fashioned keys, hold together by a thin and dirty metal loop. I picked up a random key and slot it into the key hole. I twisted the doorknob and was surprised when I managed to open the door.

Wow, lucky guess.

"Alright Aidan, come out and turn yourself in this very second. Otherwise your punishment will be hundred times worst." I warned, stepping into the room.

I frowned, feeling utterly confused. The room was decorated in an old fashioned style, in a red flower pattern. The red flower were spaced apart equally on the dark brown wall. The furnitures in the room were old fashioned too. Olden chairs, olden lamp and olden everything. One thing suddenly caught my attention. It was a painting which was hung on the wall. I slowly walked towards it.

Unfortunately, the painting was smeared so I couldn't make out what the painting was... but, looking closely, I'm absolute certain that it was a painting of a woman. I was so mesmerized by the painting that I didn't hear the slow creaking sound of the wardrobe creaked open behind me...
