41. section 41

Heflin walked into the lighted arias knowing what she is getting into. Her father wanted her to be a part of this enormous finding. She sat in the car next to him as the driver drove them to his work. Heflin knew that she was a gifted and her father hates her because of her assenters, the wolves, that will become consumed by power and now they have full control of this nation.

"I know you are not looking forward to your Marc Heflin." He huffed, "But you have to go though it both of the ceremonies but there is a reason." He had her attention now the dark clouds gathered in even steps between father and daughter.

"What is it papa?" She asked with half fear and delight. He smiled at her shamelessly as he flashed his Marc of the wolf while he moved his hair aside.

"We have an Arroven girl. A few years younger than you but not much.  She was hard to grab because of her tribe. Here" he said as he handed her Arrow's file. "We want you to make friends because of her power." Heflin looked inside of the folder to see Arrow's picture and file.

"Very well. Wait, she might be of use to us." Heflin said as she looked closer into the file. Her father raised an eyebrow. "We have the life correct. Plus she is young her powers developed much earlier than hoped, our group is lucky that her parents had turned her in." She said and her father shook his head.

"You are mistaken. Her parents hid her. But her teacher was the one who turned her in, indoor reassess, who would know?"  He snickered and Heflin quickly closed the folder. She knew that the prophecy that her parents had made her memorize by heart. And now it is starting to take shape.

"Disgusting." She huffed under her breath. She knew that this one could be different Arrow could help them find the protector, the shield, the final killer because she knew that her father is the tribe because he is the one that is the child that was used as the example.

"But we still have the helmet do we?" She said "for the Arroven, right?"

“Yes where are you going with this?" He asked obviously liking Heflin's train of thought with the idea.

"We need the protector right? How about we test the helmet, if she corporates of course, and in return we give her freedom of her tribe and herself once she takes me to whomever."  Heflin grinned from ear to ear glad that she is saving another life, hopefully.

"She has already agreed without force. She has already saved her life." Her father said, "She is no good to us anymore unless."

"Unless we use her to finalize the curse." Heflin finished for her father. She looked out of the window knowing that her father must die and had to befriend Arrow, Tatiana, and whomever this girl is to keep the world's generations safe.

She liked that thought as they went on to the place where she hatred the most, the government holding facility. This is where the prophesy begins.
