27. section 27

We walked in the field for a while now Arrow's eyes were an orange color like it was when she got the vision in the tunnel. We were fallowing each other like herd just hoping that Arrow was right again. I tried to grasp the pine limb that I thought I had earlier but then I realized that I threw it into the fire or just missed my pocket. I wished I hadn't done either since I wanted to go home again and try to piece my memories.

"You wish you can go back, do you?" Heflin asked keeping pace with me. The words wiped against me leaving a painful mark.

"Huh?" I asked hoping that she wouldn't figure the feelings of wanting in my voice.

"You reached into your pocket searching for something. Then your face turned into sadness, like when Arrow striped those nettles off the branches.  And I saw the way you were acting yesterday, in the pines. The first time I saw you truly content." Heflin whispered trying not to attract attention. I like Heflin in that sense. She knows how not to attract attention that is not needed and she is quite quiet.

"And?" I asked trying to find more to her reasoning.

"And you are trying to piece together something that you lost, something that you want and honestly, I don't want you to have any way necessary. Remember this None you don't want to know anything about your past. Look to the future because you can't bring it back." she snapped.  I didn't get why she doesn't want me to know about my past. But she is right on one thing I can't bring back my family but I do want to know my old name at least.

"I am." I admitted looking at my feet witch magically became instep with her. I am unsure of my next move I know she is up to something. She might of been a government child like I was or a past unknown memory of an enemy.

"Then don't! You don't know what are getting into!" Heflin said a little louder.

"Why don't you want me to know?" I asked hoping that I can finally get a reason instead of jabber.

"Because I was one of your closest friends and now your worst nightmare and as soon as this is over and you are no longer needed. None you are Nell and you must not break the curse."  She said and then ran up to catch up with Arrow.

Then I spotted something hanging from her paints pocket. Something shiny, something metal and like a communication device that I have no clue what it is but I don't want to find out.

"Hey Arrow!" Heflin called as she caught up with her fallowed by me after the conversation a few seconds of trying to comprehend the worming conversation. “I’ve been wondering when we are going to see this tribe of yours." Arrow's face told me that she was straining not to tell Heflin off because she was putting more uneasiness and doubt towards poor Arrow.

The next thing we know we see Friar fall to his knees with an arrow sticking out of his side and another one just passing my head.

"Stop! This is Arrovin country I will only give you one warning!" A voice rang out in the distance.

"So what?"  Arrow rang out setting one of her arrows onto the string ready to fire.

"Hold still you moron or this will become more painful than you can imagine." Heflin said as she started to rip the shirt to expose the wound.

"I want to look."  He cried. But Ti knew otherwise.

I was like a kid in a clump of ice, frozen and unable to move but still able to see everything that was going on. But still I wanted to help as I saw the arrow slowly squeezing itself from the wind blood pouring out of it while Friar screamed an agonizing sound that brought me back to the ceremony. I ousted the memory aside when another arrow wished past my head. But the next one almost killed me as Arrow caught it in its track just inches from my face. Then she was in a relay race to catch every one witch she did.

As fast as it started the arrows stopped flying. Arrow quickly stashed the arrows in her quiver and motioned me to come with her. We snuck behind a bushel of grass where the hunter was about ready to become the hunted as Arrow handed me a few of her arrows and showed me how to clamp them silently. She nodded at the grass and I noticed that there was a person laying down and looking strait ahead trying to figure out where we are.

"Ok, your though! Come on out!" Arrow called. The boy turned around looking shocked and astonished that we managed to elude him. He stood with his hands in the air like we pushed him against the wall. His Marc was a green bow that only was placed on his wrist and was stretched to his elbow.  It placated the grassy green like Arrow's purple seeing eye Marc that she has. He was smiling from ear to ear like he knew something.

"It had been many sessions since I saw you catch arrows. The one who is named by them" he choppily said still smiling he quickly shifted his black hair off to the side to show his shiny, blue eyes.  His chiseled face matched Arrows except his eyes were more rounded than anything. His rounded nose looked perfectly in place. His skin was darker than Arrow's. His quiver was strapped around his chest while feathers and beads bangles everywhere in his hair. His ears were a little big for his face and a tooth was hanging from his neck.

Arrows eyes widened as if she knew who it was. "Whitewolf." She whispered. He silently steeped foreword.
