14. ch14

I went inside my house to find the bottle of celebration on the counter. I went over to it and slid it into the trash knowing that this was not the time at all for that. Leroy came into the house behind me and he set my things on the floor.

“It is surly going to be quiet here.” He sighed and I wasn’t in the mood for a talk.

“Yes.”

“Common, we will get them Dessum.”  Leroy said and I looked around thinking that I had to change a lot of things in here. I felt over whelmed at everything that had happened.

“I will get them.” I said and I charged upstairs to my room. I started to dig into my closet to find things that would give me the impression of a strong person instead of the one that is falling apart.

“Desire, you can’t be serious? You can’t go after them…” Leroy tried to say and I interrupted him.

“I am not sure who else would find them and bring them to justice. I am not going to sit on my but like a normal person.” I hissed and he raised his hands up in a defensive position while I came to him.

“Relax! I was with you. I just need to change myself out of this outfit first.” Leroy laughed and I smiled as I noticed that Crimzen’s door was open again.  I walked in to see that it was like stepping into a time capsule.

Everything froze in time. I could see the several pillows that lay on her neat bead. The beautiful room had an old desk positioned to where she could see out the window.  I saw the photo of the opening of the Hideout Museum and I got the urge to talk to Ally again.

I grabbed my phone again from one of my jacket pockets and thought otherwise. “It will be no use.”  I sighed. I looked out of the window.

The bright blue sky was skinning through and the vast view made her want the room even more too where we fought for an hour before I gave in.  I thought that the friendship would have downs but not that easily to where it would take a decision on who gets a room.

I start to hear the children play at one of our Nabors that have no idea whom they live across from one of the best generals of the Resistance. I moved out of the room and I could see Leroy close the door behind him.

“Thank you.” I sighed as I wanted to get back to my father and get him to help with this since I know that I can’t do it alone. I looked around and I spy the only true picture of me and Darkness. I know that this man that had saved the world once would be great but twice would be a stature since he had been in the background as a pawn from the beginning. However I know the grate Darkness had become my humble father Dennis, whom doesn’t like to be in the mist of dagger or in the mist of politics unless necessary or with grave importance.

“Have an idea, but it will take some convincing.” I said and Leroy looked at me confused.

“What do you mean, Dessum?” Leroy asked and I took the photo down from the shelf to show him.

“I know that my dad loves to hide in the shadows till he is needed. Then, Just Then, he might come out as the hero that he has to be right now.” I chimed and Leroy looked happy at my suggestion.

“Then it is time to show who Darkness is.” Leroy sighed and I knew that we were both on the same page.  I starred at the picture and thought it over but this time I had second thoughts. My dad doesn’t like to be reminded about the past, good or bad.

“I think it is. Although, what if he refuses? And Sin plus what about Arlin? They need to be brought to justice.” I started to ramble and this time Leroy brought me close like he would with Crimz.

“I will be with you and I am sure Leon will as well. I will talk to him but we wait till after the…” Leroy choked on his words. I knew what he was going to say and I agreed. Now is not the time to remind anyone of what we need to do in order to untie any lost victories that we lose by Crimzen’s death.
