11. Wedding Day

Niall's POV

She was sleeping quietly on the couch.  The place she collapsed when I brought her inside.  Harry was next to her.  I felt bad for the two of them.  Both so lost.  Avery stirred and stretched her arms.  Her long eyelashes unhooked and revealed her eyes.  Tired and confused.

"Niall," She yawned crawling over Harry towards me.  Harry was passed out still.

"You okay?" I asked her quietly.  She nodded and pulled her knee's to her stomach.

"I'm so sorry Niall.  For everything," she said.  A tear rolled down her face.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I bent down in front of the couch where she sat, our heads were even now.

"I don't know, I just want you to know that," she smiled wiping away the tears.  Perrie and the other girls ran in with their arms loaded with things.

"Avery, you're finally awake!  Here's your dress, put it on and we will drive over to the church," Perrie squealed handing her a black package containing her dress.  Avery got up and followed the other girls out of the room.  I watched her go willingly.

Avery's POV

I left Niall and the passed out Harry to change into my dress with the girls.  Dani, Perrie, and Abby were helping me into it.  Dani, Liam's old girlfriend, was there too working on my hair.  The dress was strapless shiny dark purple with a thin black belt around it.  My hair was braided to the side into a bun.  The pampered me with blush and did my nails white.  I sat as there Barbie doll.

The church was extremely nice, even though the wedding was outside.  The church was for pictures and waiting since it was excruciatingly hot.  We arrived in the limo where Perrie stayed getting herself ready with a stylist.  We walked around a while then the first guests arrived.

"You look nice honey," my dad kissed me on the forehead and walked away.  He was never home, but I smiled at him anyways.  Groomsmen arrived to escort the guest to their waiting seats.  After a long long time, Zayn appeared looking fresh and ready.

"Avery, hello there," Zayn smiled at me.

"Ready?" I asked him.  He nodded and looked down at the ground smiling.

"You really love her?" I asked him smiling at people passing.

"More than anything," he answered finally.  He kissed me on the cheek then rushed off in a hurry.

Louis was supposed to be best man, but stepped down.  He felt that someone else deserved the job.  Liam was next in line.  They gathered the wedding party for a few pictures when I saw Harry arrive.  He looked fine now, just a little under the weather.  Niall was steering him in the right direction next to Dani.  He was walking up with her.  And I with Niall.  He walked over and smiled.  A purple flower sat in his pocket that matched his tie.  He looked handsome.

"Excited," he asked fixing his suit.

"Yes," I pushed his hands out of the way and tightened his tie for him.  He nodded thank you as we watched the guests file into the seats.  We waited in the back.  Then the music started.  We were 3rd to go down after Dani and Harry, and before them Danielle and Liam.  Old hands colliding there.

"Go," Perrie's mom told us.  Niall and I walked down the aisle slowly.  People smiled and I held the bouquet tight in my hand.  His arm was wrapped around mine.  We stopped at the front.  The grass ticked my feet and the sun started to go low in the sky.  The music paused, then Perrie turned onto the aisle.  She looked glowing, her dress was a mermaid and her veil hid the front part of her face.  Zayn looked astounded as she walked down the aisle with her father.  They stopped and he handed her off, when they came back, he was also glowing.

The priest spoke for a while then it was time for the vows.

"You make my life worth living, I want to spend the rest of it with you.  You aren't only my lover, but also my bestfriend.  I couldn't ask for better of either.  You have done so much for me, and life couldn't get any better right now, I love you Perrie," Zayn held her hands in his.  She wiped away a quick tear and smiled brightly at him.

"Zayn, thank you for everything you have ever done for me.  I have so many memories with you already and I am so eager to make more.  I'm ready for more adventures and laughs, more movie marathons and waterparks.  I want you to be there with me through everything. I need you Zayn, you stabilize me and keep me sane.  I love you so much,"she choked up towards the end and earned a bunch of aw's from the crowd.

I smiled and looked over at Niall who was already staring at me.  He grinned, blushed, then looked at the ground.  Don't fall for him again Avery, she thought to herself.

"I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Malik, also husband and wife," they smiled into the kiss and walked down the aisle of flowers.  It was beautiful and pictures were being taken at all times.  I waited for my turn then Niall and I followed.  He kissed me on the cheek for the pictures and I smiled.  We walked into the church as the heat rushed into my cheeks.  Harry whisked me away for a single picture which I happily agreed to. Then I got one with Louis and the rest of the boys.  Perrie and I took a silly one for the album also.
