"You've never worn makeup?" Dee asked incredulously.

"uh-uh. My mom thought it was slutty."

"Oh, honey. You're in for a treat. Close your eyes, and don't open them until I tell you to."

I closed my eyes, preparing for the awkward feeling of my eyelids being rubbed vigorously. It never came. Instead, I felt a tingling feeling, like a finger, dabbing my eye area, and a small cloth-like thing puffing on each cheek. Next, a small, smooth point rimmed my eyelids, caressing them in a slightly sensual way. I almost shivered. Finally, after a small tugging sensation on my eyelashes, and a smooth, wax-like feeling on my lips, Dee was done.

    "Open your eyes."

      I did.

In front of me in the mirror sat a girl I hardly recognized. Her bronze hair lazily drifted over her shoulders, Her forest-green eyes were ringed with heavy, but perfect lashes, and her cheeks and eyelids shimmered with rust-and-leaf-colored sparkles. Her dark red lips parted slightly, copying me. I glanced at a smug Dee, proud of her work.

"Is this really me? I am not this pretty." I stated.

Dee moved next to me, breathing heavily as she looked at my reflection. I could smell a minty breeze on her breath. "Yes, you are. I just added to your look a bit, enhancing until your face reflected your soul." I closed my eyes, Inhaling her breath, and felt my heart flutter.

"You should be a beautician." I mused, gazing fondly at my unrealistically beautiful face.

"I can't. I'm underage. When I turn 18 in two years I'll go to beauty school. If I can afford it."

"you're the same age as me." I smiled.

Dee pushed me out of the bathroom, and closed the door. "Now it's my turn. You wait out here until I'm done. Then we'll be beauty queens together." I giggled drunkenly at the door.

Making a pouty face, I crossed my arms and said "fine."

A couple minutes later, I closed my eyes and started nodding off.
