Don't Look For Me

Cayn gets overwhelmed with her life, her boyfriend doesn't seem right for her, and her family falling apart piece by piece. She runs away from home, only to meet up with a girl named Dee.

1. Home, sweet, home.

Shrugging my backpack off of my shoulders, I rattled my lockers lock, sloppily entering the combination. I was kicking the door to open it, when I felt arms wrap around me from behind, and a rough voice whispered in my ear, "hey babe." My first reaction should have been to turn around, and kiss Jake on the lips, as any other girl in my school would have done. Instead, I wiggled uncomfortably and told him to let go. My mistake.

"Why can't I ever touch you?!" Jake yelled, "You push me away, and you have since day one! Is there something wrong with me?"

     "No, of course-"

"Are you cheating on me? Give me the real answer."

The truth was, I did have a liittle crush (or was it?) on this girl in my Language Arts class named Beck, but I'm not gay. Everyone thinks about the same gender once in a while, right? Right. I swung around.

"No, bub. I'm not cheating on you." I wish I could tell him about my mixed-up feelings, but that's not what he would want to hear.

He dared a small smile, running his hands through his hair as he leaned forward to kiss me. I really had no choice (he would be offended otherwise) but to kiss him back. As our lips met, and moved, my mind wasn't with us, and something My body moved, kissed, but something was missing. Jake is the most attractive guy in our high school... so why didn't I want to be with him?
