13. Lucy Raven Lovelock

After the light cleared away, Lucy Raven Lovelock collapsed to the floor. She felt really light headed and strange. Then she looked down at her feet and saw she was in a completely different outfit than Sophie and Chloe had beforehand.

It was a metallic silver sequined strapless dress with a bow around the front of the waist, black floral Dr Martens and a long silver tier necklace. Also her now dark brunette hair was swept into a low side ponytail. “Are you OK?” Ron asked helping Lucy up from the floor. “Yeah, I think so,” Lucy said rubbing her head “I’m still a bit wobbly but I think I’ll manage.”

“Do you even remember who we are?” Hermione asked curiously. “Of course I do,” smiled Lucy “Just because Sophie and Chloe are gone, it doesn’t mean I have forgotten all of the stuff they know.”

The four friends came in for a group hug but were rudely interrupted. “B-b-but there were two of you.” Malfoy stuttered looking both confused and scared. “You tell anyone we were here and I’ll smash your head against the wall.” Lucy warned. Then Malfoy ran back to Slytherin Dungeon as Lucy, Harry, Ron and Hermione slid under Harry’s invisibility cloak all the way back to Gryffindor Tower.

The next morning was Saturday 20th April. Lucy’s birthday. When she woke up Hermione, Lavender, Padma and Pavarti were sitting round her bed. Lavender, Padma and Pavarti got her cards while Hermione got her a box of sugared butterfly wings. As there were no lessons today, Lucy got changed into her own clothes (which was a mixture of Sophie and Chloe’s).

At the breakfast table she received two more presents from Harry and Ron. A box of ice mice and a box Honeyduke’s Best Chocolate. After breakfast Lucy decided to write to her mum and dad to let them know how she was getting on.

Dear Mum & Dad,

How are you? My name is now Lucy Raven Lovelock. So you’ll have to get use to calling me Lucy now. Sophie and Chloe are still around. You’ll know when I’m acting like one of them or even both. My birthday so far had been great. I’ve had lots of cards and a few presents but I can’t wait to see you when I come home for summer.

Hope you write to me soon,
