9. Getting Used To Things

So the friends went Professor McGonagall to explain the situation. “I’ll see what I can do.” She said. But having to work together all the time was the least of Sophie’s worries. She and Chloe had to pick out a name for when they did become one person. “What about Ella.” Sophie suggested.

“Boring.” Chloe said “Try Nia.”

“No, I like to be traditional.” Sophie argued. “But I like to be unique.” Chloe snapped back at her. The two quarrelled for a bit until Hermione stopped them. “What about a traditional first name with a unique middle name?” She suggested. Sophie and Chloe liked the idea.

But while all of that was happening, Sophie sent her mum a letter about the whole reflected twins thing. Then her mum’s replied said:

Dear Sophie,

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about Chloe. It was best if you didn’t know each other until now. How is she? Plus I met up with your father the other day. He had received a letter from Chloe saying that you were reflected twins. When I next see you you’ll have a different name. Let me know what you and Chloe have decided on. I just hope you two are getting along really well.

I hope to see you soon,

Love From

Mum

Sophie smiled after reading the letter. While she and Chloe had been working together, she had noticed someone had been spying on them. It was a boy with platinum blonde hair. When Sophie next spotted him she saw his uniform. He was a Slytherin. This couldn’t be good.  “Hey, guys,” Sophie said to get the other attention “I think someone’s spying on us.”

“Who?” Chloe asked. Sophie quickly described the boy she had just seen. “Draco Malfoy.” Harry said. “What is that kid’s problem?” Ron moaned. “If he gets in the way then you know what’ll happen.” Hermione warned. So they decided to try and make the discussions more private.
