I'll take you away, I'll keep you hidden. I'll protect you, I'll love you. Now that we're here we can do what we want. We can be who we want to be. This is our life, this is our beginning and our ending, this is our happily ever after. (The last of the 'tomorrowland' trilogy)

18. epilogue

10 years later

"Liam, it's time to eat and bring Jack, the boy is getting to attached to Poppy." Poppy was the new elephant that I adopted. I began to continue my mother's business in South Africa shortly after my miscarriage ten years ago.

I can't believe it's been that long.

Liam and I were now in our thirties and decided to leave festivals behind us.

"Dinner smells amazing!" Harry said as he entered the house.

Harry and Louis stayed in South Africa with us. They finally finished building their house right down the street from us. They both went through a roller coaster due to Louis' drug addiction, and unfortunately Louis didn't make it. You would think it was the drugs but it wasn't. Louis went into Cape Town one day and was murdered by an obsessed fan from all those years ago. He was shot twice, the second shot being fatal.

So we spent another year mourning. That was eight years ago. Who knew he had such a short time to live and Liam and I made sure Harry was okay. That's why we invite him over to dinner every night. Even though he says he's okay, sometimes he excuses himself and we can hear him crying in the bathroom.

"Is Lily coming?" I ask as he enters the dining room.

He shook his head, "She's going to some party in Cape Town. A music festival called Sensation."

He rose and an eyebrow as I looked up at him. I knew Sensation and I remember going. "I didn't think they still did those music festivals."

"I guess so, because she had me buy her an entire white outfit. I didn't like it, but--."

"She's gonna be seventeen, Harry. You can't keep her hidden all her life."

"I can at least try," he smiles. "I heard from Niall today."

I stop placing forks down onto the table by the plates and look up at him. "How's jail?"

"He wants us to come visit."

"No," I tell him flatly. Zayn and Niall both got themselves thrown into jail almost nine years ago. They were serving a thirty year sentence for selling drugs. They tried to get us to visit them but we always ignore them. I always partially blamed them for Louis' death, that was the main reason Louis was in Cape Town that day...to by more drugs. From Zayn and Niall too.

"We should at least go visit--."

"No, Harry."

"What's going on?" Liam asks as he chases Jack into the dining room.

"Niall called Harry today requesting a visit."

"No," Liam repeated my answer.

"Liam, please get Jack cleaned up before dinner."

"Yes, Ma'am. Jack the Water Man is coming to get you!"

"No!!" He giggles as Liam finds him and I hear him squealing as they go to the bathroom. Jack was six and our son. After another miscarriage only a few weeks into my pregnancy I was ready to give up.

I had tests done and finally they told me I would never be able to carry a child. I spent a week crying with Liam and when I finally decided to put on a brave front we continued on our loving. We stopped using protection now that we knew I was never able to have children of my own.

That's when it happened. I got pregnant and knew the child wasn't going to make it, but a couple weeks turned into months and soon I was carrying him full term. Jack was born healthy and literally the joy of our lives.

He was learning the South African language and starting to go to school. Liam and him play soccer in the backyard when Jack isn't playing with Poppy. He definitely shares my love for elephants.

Harry helps me place the food on the table and I hear the door open and close. I look up to see Lily in her all white dress and now I know why Harry wasn't pleased. It was cut short and exposed a lot, but then again I would certainly wear it.

"Sorry, the festival was sold-out," she says.

"For a music festival you should always get tickets a year in advance--."

"Boston," Harry warned. Oops.

"You went to music festivals?" She questioned. Too late.

"Yeah, all of us did. Both your fathers, Liam, and I and some others went to a lot of festivals."

"Lil?" Liam questioned. "I thought Harry said you went to Sensation."

"Aw that's too bad," he said as he places Jack in his seat. "Not the best festival we've been too though."

"You need to tell me about these festivals," she exclaimed as she took her normal seat.

"No," Harry said and I smiled at him.

"Harry, I remember you were a strong festival goer," I reminded him.

"What? Dad you never told me about that?!"

"I haven't told you a lot," he mutters.

I look at him oddly. "Did you know that both your dads and Liam were in a boy band a long time ago?"

"What?!" She giggles.

"Okay, that's enough Boston," Harry says as he uneasily places food on his plate.

"No it's not. I want to know!"

"Well back in 2010," Liam starts and Harry shoots him death glares. I start to feed Jack as Liam starts to talk about X Factor.

"So when did the festivals start?" She asks after she realizes the existence of One Direction.

"Well that's a funny story," I admit. "It started in Belgium at a festival called Tomorrowland in an airport."
