Hidden Industry

All of us listen to music from our favourite artists every day, we watch them on TV, go see them in concert. To us they're just famous people. Five seemingly normal guys enter a typical music contest but soon find out nothing about that industry is normal, including themselves.

3. Three

Sofie’s POV

With the cameras finally out the way, we could finally get down to business. The six of us sat in a smallish room, silent. Even being the powerful witch I am, I could sense the growing tension between Louis and Harry. I didn’t know if Niall would be strong enough to diffuse any bad situations.

“Is it Lacey?” Harry asked pointing at her. She nodded. “Come, I’m hungry.” You could tell she wasn’t too confident about this but her pay packet would be huge, all Harry had to refrain from was draining her.

Trying to distract from the sight of Harry’s fangs sinking into Lacey’s neck, I got straight to business. “Right guys, your first task is to spend time with each other. When you make your first appearance on screen it needs to look like you actually like each other.”

“We’ll do our best, I mean the ones we gotta watch are Louis and Harry right?” Zayn said.

Louis shot him a glare, his eyes turning yellow, a slight growl escaping his lips.

“Louis, calm down.” Niall said, glancing at them both. “He didn’t mean anything nasty by it did you Zayn?”

Zayn shook his head. “All I meant was that, if legend is true, werewolves and vampires don’t get along.”

“You’re right we don’t.” Louis began, staring in Harry’s direction. “But believe me, I know better than to go looking for a fight with one.”

“Okay, I’m sorry.” Zayn said sincerely.

Smirking to myself, I stood up. “I shall leave you boys to it.” Noticing Harry still feeding, I snapped my fingers making him stop. “You cannot drain her!” I said sternly.

“I’m sorry, I was so hungry.” He replied, retracting his fangs.

I sighed watching Lacey’s near limp body dropping to the floor. “Niall, heal her please. She needs to stay alive.” He nodded and I left the room, silencing the door so no one could eaves drop.

Natalie’s POV

I sat bored outside the room the guys were in. Louis, despite his bravery, wanted me to stick around so here I was. I leaned my head back against the wall, closing my eyes. I’d had no sleep in over a day, I was beginning to feel exhausted.

My instincts pricked suddenly, I stormed into the room the guys were and saw Harry propositioning my brother. Being the stronger wolf, I pushed Harry back. “Get the fuck away from him!” I growled.

“And who might you be?” Harry smirked, fangs on full show.

“I’m his sister. And if you know what’s good for you, you’ll stop tempting him to fight.”

“What happens if I don’t?”

“I’ll kill you.” Louis’ arms held me back.

The cute blonde, stood up and faced me. “Let’s get you and Louis out for some air.” I let them both lead me out of the room and outside.

“Louis you cannot do this! That blood sucker is gonna kill you.”

“Nat, I want, no I need to. You know I love music.” He pleaded.

“And it’s worth dying for?”

“To me, yes.”

This time I couldn’t control my emotions, I growled, tackling him to the floor, clawing at him, all the while fighting the urge to turn into my wolf form. Why was he being so selfish? Did he not realise people loved him? I kept slapping him, trying to make him realise how stupid he was being. I needed him to wake up...

Louis’ POV

I gasped seeing Niall blast Nat with his light. “Dude what the hell?” I shouted standing up.

“Look I’m sorry, but part of my job is to protect you, even if it’s from your own sister.”

I didn’t reply, I used my great sense of smell to sniff out where she’d been blasted too. “Stay here.” I said to Niall before running off to get her.

She’d been blasted into a brick wall, she was out cold. Picking her up carefully, I was shocked at just how powerful Niall was, but knew he could make it right. “Do me a favour, make her better, this is all on you.”

“Oh my god, Louis I never meant to hurt her this bad. I just wanted to stop you two fighting.”

I laid her down gently. “Well you did more than that. Heal her please.” I almost pleaded.

He nodded, kneeling down beside her, placing her head onto his lap gently. He placed his hands just above her body and moved them up and down, I gasped seeing her cuts slowly disappearing.

She was healed completely.

When she realised who it was above her she shot up. “You can keep the hell away from me!” I watched as Niall almost replied but stopped. He looked saddened that he’d hurt her. I knew my sis though and I knew she’d react like this.

She glanced at me, anger in her eyes still and ran off. I wasn’t sure if she was going back to the pack or if she was staying around here, I hoped she’d forgive me for my choice and Niall for his actions. She just needed time.
