No Wizard Left Behind

In the world of Harry Potter, Harry's kids are off the Hogwarts for their magical education. James, Albus, and Lily are all ready to learn magic alongside of Ron and Hermione's kids as well as Neville's, Fleur and Bill's, George's, and all the old characters you have come to know and love, (and hate.....). But when Hogwarts is attacked by some of Voldemort's surviving Death-Eaters, they are forced to use their powers to protect Hogwarts and kill of the remaining Death-Eaters. Oh, and did I mention all the professors are being held captive by the Death-Eaters as well? This book is an action-packed, comedy with a little romance squeezed in here and there.

11. You can't escape your dad's fame

"Now, lets all get settled in shall we?" The noise slowly burned out, " It's been a whole year since I've seen all your bright, young faces! I can't even believe it!" The class laughed with a light airiness that filled the room. " This year is where things get difficult so we really need to buckle down and focus. Ok?" Everyone nodded and the class begun.

"So she's your aunt?" Peter whispered.

"Yeah, she's aunt Angelina to me." I replied.

"Do you call her that in school?"

"No, I call her Ms.Weasley like everyone else." I smiled slightly looking down at my books.

"Interesting." His voice trailed off as he studied the board.

Aunt Angelina was drawing diagrams on the board with the enchanted chalk. It was like a quick quotes quill almost. We opened our books to page 41 and dove into the complicated studies. I was overwhelmed by the intricate sketches and descriptions in our books. It showed flying lamps, tables, and my favorite, keys. They all looked so wondrous flying in different directions, like all of them had a place to be. There were old keys, big keys, small keys, keys with engravings, and rusty keys. As I studied the picture long and hard, I noticed in the midst of the keys that a boy with black hair and glasses was trying to grab a certain key with a broken wing. I would have guessed that it could have been anyone until I saw his forehead. The wind had pushed his hair back out of his face to reveal his lighting bolt scar. My heart started racing the way it always did when I saw my dad in pictures or books. I looked around at the other kids quietly reading and taking notes. They must be reading this, they have to. They have to be seeing that my dad in the book. Then, as if on cue, Peter leaned over and pointed it out to me.

"Hey that's your dad, right?" He stared at me with those big eyes again. I didn't want to face embarrassment right now, so I did the only thing I could do. Lie through my teeth.

"No, that's um-" Oh god just think of a name to fit in there, " Collin....Mc.....Claw." Whew, that was close.

"But he has the scar. See?"

"It's the artist's interpretation, that's all." I was a horrible lair. Peter shrugged and turned back to face the front. Then, Julia Crabens threw a note at me from across the room. Oh god, I wonder what this is about.

I un-crumpled the little piece of paper and looked at her fancy handwriting"You can't escape your dad's fame."

I read it aloud to myself. I set the note down on my desk and looked over to see her and her little friends all giggling. She flipped her blonde side bangs back out of her face to reveal her bright green eyes. Her friends did the same. I could feel the tears well up in my eyes.  I looked away and tried to drown out their giggling. I could see Peter out of the corner of my eye looking at me. A single tear fell on to my cheek. In that moment, something life changing happened to me. My whole life I had been spent worrying about what happens next, that I had also forgotten to live in the now. I was constantly drowning in a sea of worries. Now, I was sinking deep to the bottom, like I was wearing cement shoes. The water was constricting my lungs from breathing, and Julia Crabbens ad her little friends were laughing as I drowned. But then, Peter reached out his hand and interlocked his fingers with mine, pulling me to the surface. His palm was cold against mine. I looked over at him and he gave me a tiny smile. Peter was my life preserver keeping me afloat right now. He went to pull his hand away once I smiled back, but I held on tight. He didn't object to me holding on, so we stayed like that all class period. When class was dismissed, I let go because he had to go to herbology with Dominique. I turned and ran to Charms class, dodging people through the halls. How could I walk at a time like this? A boy just showed affection towards me! A REAL BOY! SHOWING AFFECTION TO ME!!! ME, LILY POTTER!!! PETER!!! Oh this is a wonderful feeling. A lot better than the feeling I had earlier. I ran through the door and dove into my seat. I smiled really big and giggled to myself. I was the first person there so I leaned back in my seat and gave a huge sigh. Oh god this is a good feeling.
