No Wizard Left Behind

In the world of Harry Potter, Harry's kids are off the Hogwarts for their magical education. James, Albus, and Lily are all ready to learn magic alongside of Ron and Hermione's kids as well as Neville's, Fleur and Bill's, George's, and all the old characters you have come to know and love, (and hate.....). But when Hogwarts is attacked by some of Voldemort's surviving Death-Eaters, they are forced to use their powers to protect Hogwarts and kill of the remaining Death-Eaters. Oh, and did I mention all the professors are being held captive by the Death-Eaters as well? This book is an action-packed, comedy with a little romance squeezed in here and there.

26. The Ravenclaw Common Room

"Alright kids," Talken said harshly, "I can pass up as a Deatheater so I think that I should head to their headquarters and figure out what's what."

"Not a chance." Albus hissed.

"What?" Talken asked.

"How do we know that you won't go blabbing to them like Rockwell?" He asked.

We were all quiet. How did we know he wouldn't tell?

"I'll do it then." He said darkly.

"Do what?" Hugo asked.

"I'll make an unbreakable vow."

Victoure gasped and clung onto Teddy. Albus stepped back a few steps. Roxanne, Alice, and Rose huddled together.

"What?" Dominique asked.

"It means that he vows to not tell, but if he breaks it, he.....he oh I can't even say it." Rose whispered.

"It means that I'll die." He croaked.

"Do it." I said instantly.

"Lily...." Victoure hissed.

"No, he has to do it. If he doesn't and we die, we'll never forgive ourselves for being so easily fooled." I explained, looking her dead in the eye.

"With who?" Hugo asked no one in particular.

Talken looked at us all in turn.

His eyes stopped on Albus.

"You." He pointed to him.

"Me?" He quivered.

"No," I pleaded, "Not him. Anyone but him."

"Lily, I can do this." His voice seemed to crack at any moment.

"Al, you don't need to do this to be brave." James added, complete sincerity in his voice.

"I know." Al said as he pulled up his sleeve.

Talken chuckled and shook his head slightly.

"God damn you kids are true Gryffindors."

"Hey," Victoure snapped, pointing to her Ravenclaw badge on her Ravenclaw uniform, "Ravenclaw pride."

They gripped hands together and stood there, waiting for someone to produce the spell. Teddy patted Albus on the back and pulled out his wand.strings of light from Teddy's wand wrapped around the two's arms as Talken promised not to tell. With that, he left the room, leaving us there wondering if he would keep his promise.

We all moved silently down the empty and partially ruined hallway. Ruble filled most of the walking space and the portraits were mostly deserted. One painting inhabited by an old witch hung crookedly. As I passed by it, the old woman called out to me.

"Psst!" She hissed.

I turned my head and pointed to myself.

"Yes you. Can you do me a favor?" She asked, her voice old and scratchy.

I nodded.

"My frame is leaning. Could you straighten it?"

"Sure. Hold on." I walked up to the painting and took the frame in both hands and lined it up even with the bricks on the walls.

"Better?" I asked, stepping back.

"Oooh yes. Thanks a bunch."

I started to wall away to catch up with the others but she called out again.

"What?" I asked, itching to get back to the others.

She gave me a small smile and a wink.

"You'll do okay, kid."

I smiled back.

I dashed off to catch up with them. Victoure lead the pack, Teddy and Hugo following closely behind. Then James and Fred and Roxanne and Albus and Rose. And finally, I brought up the rear.

"What were you doing?" Roxanne asked while we walked.

"Helped a picture." I breathed.

She chuckled.

"Only you." She said shaking her head.

Victoure nervously opened an old wooden door at the end of the hallway. She held up her wand and gripped the door handle, open to open it.

"Wands at the ready." She whispered.

She rocked her head three times to countdown the opening. At the third head rock, she yanked the door open and held up her wand. Nothing happened. In fact, the flight of stairs it lead to seemed deserted.

"Let's go." She whispered.

We all moved to do through the door, but just as she was about to enter she quickly spun around.

"Oh! I forgot, the seventh stair creeks really loudly so skip over that one." She said.

We all nodded and finally moved up the stairs. It was dim in the staircase and it smelled like burnt hair and tea leaves.

"No, we're not going to...." I pleaded.

Albus took a huge wif of the air and finished my sentence.

"Professor Trawlwaney's."

Victoure laughed.

"No, this is just below her office. We're headed to the Ravenclaw common room."

"Okay." Albus and I sighed.

When we reached the top of the steps, all of us magically appeared to be on a landing. I looked back to where we entered, expecting to see the door, but the was only a railing.

"Wh-where'd the door go?" Fred asked nervously, pointing to the railing.

Victoure laughed and shook her head.

"It leaves so non Ravenclaws panic and think that they can't get back." She explained.

"Tricky." James said winking.

"Come on." Victoure urged.

Once we reached the Ravenclaw tower, we stopped at the wooden door. On the door was a huge, brass door knocker. Victoure stepped up to it and knocked it three times. It split in half and formed into a mouth. It licked it's 'lips' and began.

"A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?" It said proudly.

"What the-" Dominique said confused.

"Shhh! I'm thinking." Victoure urged.

"Wait," Alice whispered, "We can't get in until we figure out the riddle?"

"I guess so." Teddy responded in the same tone.

Victoure was in complete concentration as she thought it out. Finally, her face seemed to show that everything in her brain clicked. She faced the door.

"The third door. All the lions are dead if they haven't eaten in three years." She declared proudly.

The knocker stuck it's 'tongue' out at us and formed back into a knocker. The door swung open and we all scrambled inside and shut the door behind us.

"How did you figure that out?" I asked.

"Simple, it's all logic." She tossed a blonde lock of hair behind her shoulder.

"I'm still confused of why it does....whatever it did." Dominique said collapsing onto the couch.

"Well," Victoure began, walking to a plush armchair and sitting down, "Ravenclaws are witty and smart. So naturally, the password to get in would be a riddle. Sometimes it's a trivia question like, 'Who was the first person to dissaperate.' Stuff like that."

"Yeah, we just have to remember a password." Dominique added.

I headed for a tall, skinny, green lounge chair that looked comfortable. Once I sat down on it, it yelled. I jolted upward and pulled out my wand. The others did the same.

"Lily, did you scream?" Rose asked panting.

"No, the chair did."

And just then the chair started to shape shift. The arms of the chair started to thin and the feet began to grow longer. It slowly turned into a person covered in a green sheet of velvet that the chair was made of.

"Don't shoot." A familiar voice quivered from under the fabric.

"Who are you?" Hugo demanded.

"Hugo? Is that you?" The voice asked.

They took of the fabric and revealed who they were.

"Molly!" I shouted in surprise.

"Guys! Guys I can't believe we found you!" She threw her arms around me and gripped me tight.

"We?" Rose asked.

"Lucy and Louis are here too. Come on out guys!" She exclaimed.

She went around hugging everyone.

"Where are they?" Dominique asked.

"Uh....I think," she pointed to a deep blue foot rest with silver trimming, "That that's Molly. Someone rest their feet on her."

Fred obeyed and threw his feet on top of the chair. As expected, the foot rest transformed into Lucy. She was wearing a light blue tee shirt and blue and green plaid shorts. Her short, red hair was mostly covered by a pink bandana with a white paisley print. Her square shaped glasses were a little crooked, but soon fixed by Victoure, who embraced her immediately. She was in her 4th year at Hogwarts and in Ravenclaw.

"Where have you been? We looked for you all for hours!" Victoure exclaimed.

"Hours?" I asked.

"You were unconscious." Rose explained quickly before hugging Lucy.

"Right." I stretched the word out for ever.

"Where's Louis?" Dominique asked.

"Um," Lucy said scanning the room, "I think he's the-"

Victoure interrupted her, pointing to the tea cart sitting in the corner by the window.

"The tea cart! That wasn't in her last time I was here."

Alice, who was closest, knocked on the tea cart.

"Louis..." She said in a singsong voice.

The tea cart slowly turned into the short, pale, blonde boy we all know as Louis Weasley. His is a year old than Hugo, but never the less, Hugo's best friend. He's in Ravenclaw like his older sister, Victoure.

"Louis!" Hugo exclaimed, running to hug him.

Molly swished her long, blonde hair around and laughed airily as we all settled down around the coffee table. Some sat in squishy armchairs, others sat on the floor, and a few stayed standing. James pulled out the map and opened it up and laid it out on the table.

"So," He began, "Here we have us in the Common room. Then we have the Great hall, which is taken over by Deatheaters-"

"What's a Deatheater?" I asked raising my hand.

"They're the people that are trying to kill us." He said plainly.

"Oh okay."

"Anyways, what we need to do is figure out where the heck everybody is. One third of the school population isn't even on the map." He continued.

"Maybe they died." Roxanne added.

"We didn't see any bodies anywhere in the halls." Rose added.

"Maybe they took them somewhere." I suggested.

"Hey, um guys. Yeah Louis, Lucy and I don't really know what's going on out there." Molly said.

"What?" Dominique asked.

"We heard screaming and spells and walls tumbling down so we disguised ourselves as furniture until someone would come." Lucy explained.

"Really?" Hugo asked.

"Yup." Louis answered.

"Well then," Rose began, "Let's give a quick summary, shall we?"

"We shall." I mocked.

"Deatheaters are swarming everywhere, Lily was intoxicated with a love potion, the wizard that proscribed her is actually a death eater, we have eyes on the inside who is a man named Talken whom preformed an unbreakable vow with Albus, half the school is missing, all passages are sealed, and the teachers are missing as well." She took several big breathes afterwards due to the fact that she said that all in one sentence.

We were all quiet until Dominique burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" James asked.

"This is all so stupid! I mean, once you hear it out loud, it's obvious of our flaw!" She doubled over, slapping the couch.

"What flaw?" Teddy asked defensively.

Dominique stopped laughing at once.

"It's obvious isn't it?" She looked to all of us, "Oh come on, tell me I'm not the only one who sees it."

We all said nothing.

"We need to go to them." She said slowly, pointing at the door.

"Who?" I asked after a pause.

"The death eaters!" Dominique exclaimed.

"Why? Aren't they the ones who want to kill is?" Louis asked.

"I realize that, believe it or not." Dominique said sassily to Louis.

"I'm just saying," he held up his arms to show no harm, "I'm not to eager about go towards the people who have a death wish on me."

Dominique rolled her eyes.

"If we get to the, head quarters, "she used air quotes on head quarters, "of the death eaters, we can get to the root of the problems. It's a clear ticket to victory."

"I agree with you Dominique," Teddy said stepping forward, "But there is one crucial flaw in your plan. They're not idiots. And if they were idiots, they'd leave they're head quarters easy to invade. And since they aren't, it would be extremely difficult to get in and out of safely."

"And," Molly added holding up her index finger, "The risks do not balance out the consequences."

"Exactly." James said.

"And," Lucy interjected, "we could die."

"You bet." James said again.

"It wouldn't answer our questions either." Victoure said shrugging.

"Right. That's exactly why I plan on going in." James declared.
