No Wizard Left Behind

In the world of Harry Potter, Harry's kids are off the Hogwarts for their magical education. James, Albus, and Lily are all ready to learn magic alongside of Ron and Hermione's kids as well as Neville's, Fleur and Bill's, George's, and all the old characters you have come to know and love, (and hate.....). But when Hogwarts is attacked by some of Voldemort's surviving Death-Eaters, they are forced to use their powers to protect Hogwarts and kill of the remaining Death-Eaters. Oh, and did I mention all the professors are being held captive by the Death-Eaters as well? This book is an action-packed, comedy with a little romance squeezed in here and there.

"So Peter, your in Gryffindor right?" Rosie asked while she filled her plate for seconds.

"Yeah." He said looking at his plate. I wish he'd be more social right now. Dominique can be a bit judgey at times, and I don't want Peter to be the kid who doesn't talk.

"Do you play Quittage?" Dominique asked poking her neck out to see him.

Peter's eyes lit up at this question. "Oh yeah!!! I love Quittage!!! I usually play chaser, but I have been working on beater. The bat is a little hard to get a grip on though. Seeker's to hard with my bad eye sight," He pointed to his big glasses, " Keeper is to much pressure for me but if you do it well, everyone loves you." He was out of breath because he said all that in one sentence.

The three of us all looked at each other in surprise, eyes widened big. Peter chuckled at little and began to eat his breakfast again. Dominique shook her head and said laughing, "I didn't know you were so passionate about Quittage."

"Yeah, I guess you could call it that." He said smiling.

"I play Chaser. The other two chasers stink," Dominique delighted in doing this because me and Rosie were the other two chasers, "You should try out for the team this week."

"That would be great." He said taking a bite of his eggs. I looked at him, his eyes mostly. I have never seen such pretty brown eyes. They sparkled vividly, even with his big glasses hiding them. I broke my gaze when Headmaster Mcgonagall clinked her glass and the hall got silent.

"Students, professors, welcome to another year at Hogwarts." She said after she stood up from the center chair at the Head Table.

"Make sure you have all your classes written down or memorized for today. We gave you the extra week for a reason." She looked around suspiciously at some students. "Remember that the forbidden forest is off limits to all students. The practice games for Quittage are over and tryouts will be held on Saturday for Ravenclaws, Wednesday for Hufflepuffs, Thursday for Gryfinndors, and Friday for Slytherins."

I looked at Peter again who was jotting down the date for tryouts. He brushed his curly hair out of his eyes and continued listening to her.

"And remember to have fun!" She finished with a smile and the hall clapped loudly. Everyone shuffled out of the hall. It was madness. Everyone was trying to get to their classes and people were pushing others out of the way. I was rather short and was getting pushed around a lot. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me up the big staircase. I couldn't see who it was. I allowed myself to be pulled because resistance was useless. I finally saw who it was that was pulling me and it was Al.

"What are doing?! You're going to crushed if you just stand there!" He shook his head in worry.

"I'm fine Albus! You don't need to treat me like Franky first-year!" I pulled myself from his grasp.

"I'm just trying to help!" He looked heated.

"I don't need your help! I'm fine!" I shouted over the noise of the people. I hated when he treated me like I was a little kid. I'm only one year younger than him and two years younger than James. It's not fair.

I pushed through to the trap door that lead to Divination. I got in line to climb up. All the other kids climbed up. The smell of dust and rosemary filled my nose and made me cough. I scanned for a seat with someone I know. There in the front row was Peter. He waved me over and I headed his way. I sat down next to him on a maroon poof. After a minute or so, Professor Trawlaney swooped in from her office. She was wearing a long, royal blue robe with purple flourishes all over it. She was also wearing a matching turban on her head. A poof of smoke surrounded her when she made her entrance. Everyone was giggling at this. Professor Trawlaney was so old and so foolish that she was like a stale magic trick. A magic trick that everyone knows and is tired of seeing.

She took a big, dramatic breath in. "Hello my students." She said this with a very mysterious and deep voice.

"She has to know that she's a joke, right?" Peter whispered to me.

"I don't know, she seems pretty serious."

"Serious Black?" He joked.

"Something like that." I said with a smile.

We spent the class looking into the crystal ball trying to see our ora. It was pretty boring, but Peter made it all less miserable with is jokes and silly faces. After the class, he walked with me to transfiguration. He was actually really funny and really smart. He talked about things that were interesting subjects. Like, how his father is an employee for the department for muggle artifacts. That was what department my grandfather was in until he retired. He talked about how he thought house elves were symbols of insecurities that their masters were hiding. I had never thought about it like that before.

I saw Dominique flirting with a Huffelpuff guy. His whole face was red when Dominique winked at him and walked away. I felt bad for the guy because Dominique will never go out with him. Ever. That's not her style. She dates guys who are adventurous, talk a lot, and who love Dominique unconditionally. This is all very hard to come by. In fact, she's only ever had one long time, serious boyfriend. His name was Marty Koosback. He died 6 months ago in a freak broomstick accident. Dominique was devastated and didn't talk for weeks because he was more than a boyfriend to her, he was her only friend. I mean, we all have family and stuff, but you need friends outside of family. Dominique is bad at making friends, not because she is mean or anything. It's just very hard to get her to open up her shell to you. Once she does, she's very out going and fun.

I sat in between Dominique and Peter for class. We sat at long, wooden tables.

"Our aunt teaches this class you know." I said to Peter kind of proud of myself.

"Really? That's cool." He said looking interested.

Just then, Aunt Angelina came in from her office. Everyone started clapping when she turned the chalk on the chalk board into tiny, yellow birds that fluttered around the room. Kids started cheering. She was definitely one of the favorite teachers here.

"Hello class." She said with a huge grin on her face.

"Lets get started, shall we?" She said picking up her wand. "Today, we will be learning how to turn inanimate objects into animate objects that can fly."

Everyone oohed and ahhed at the idea of this. Peter was so excited that I thought he was going to faint.

"This is going to be awesome!" He smiled really big at me.

I smiled back at him. What is it about him that is so mesmerizing about him? Is it his eyes? His smile? Or the fact that he notices me?
