6th Direction

Marina was suppose to be a solo artist. With her name on shining lights, having sold out concerts, and living next to Oprah. But for the next three years, she has to live on a tour bus and travel 24/7 with four British boys and one Irish who go by One Direction. Now that she signed the wrong contract and she can't take it back and change it...she has to become the newest member of One Direction. Now she has to deal with management and having to have a fake relationship between Niall and Harry. But the question is...can she handle the pressure of fame?

5. Lunch With The Boys

Never have I sat with a bunch of boys and felt this awkward. Alice suggested iHop and the guys thought that would be the best place for us to 'get to know each other'. We sat in a corner of the restaurant in a circle shaped booth.

"So can I get you any drinks to start off with?" The young red-haired waitress smiled at us.

"Water," most of the boys and Alice said.

"Sprite," Niall and I said simultaneously. I looked up from my menu at him and he smiled at me.

I could feel my face get warm.

"So Marina . . ." Liam started tapping on the table. "Are you comfortable with coming on tour with us?"

I could only nod my head. I always wanted to go to their concerts, not be IN the concert. But why complain? I get to travel around the country with a bunch of hot boys and my parents don't even mind!

"Well we're happy to have you on tour with us. Right Lou?" Liam spoke.

"Sure," Louis rolled his eyes, folding his hands.

Harry and Zayn, who were sitting next to him both nudged him in the side. "I mean," he grunted in pain, "it's awesome to have a new member of the band. I could use another friend on tour."

"Thanks," I smiled shyly. What did Louis have against me where he could hate my guts? I'm sure he wanted me to just quit, but I'm sure it was the guys who are telling him to be nice. Or at least try.

The red haired girl came back with our drinks and things became less awkward.

"You guys ready to order your food now?" She asked pulling out her notepad.

"We'll have chicken and waffles," Alice winked at me giving both our menus to the waitress.

Harry looked up from his menu, raising his eyebrow. "Chicken and waffles?" He asked.

"Yeah," Alice smiled at him. "It's really good. You should try it."

Niall handed his menu to the waitress and laughed. "I'll try anything once. But if it's horrible you owe me," he winked at Alice.

Was I this invisible?! It feels just like school again, where everyone looks at Alice and they call her one of the prettiest girls in school. Even if you weren't friends with her, you liked her. But as for me . . .I was usually avoided by most of the students.

After 10 minutes, our food was there.

The guys all looked stuff, as they leaned back in their seats. Niall burped loudly and started to laugh.

"Niall!" The boys all groaned.

I couldn't help but giggle. "Nice one."

"Thanks. At least someone appreciates my skill," he winked at me.

"You want her to appreciate your farts too?" Zayn made a disgusted face.

Alice and I started to laugh out loud. Niall started blushing really hard.

"Well lookie here, two of our schoolmates sitting with THE One Direction."

I looked up from my nails which I was chipping off and saw Cecelia and her two bimbo friends behind her.

"Well hello to you too," I responded. The boys all suddenly sat up and looked at them in amazement.

"Hi!" Cecelia leaned over the TV and shook their hands. She turned to me and Alice and smiled fakely, "I didn't know my good school friends here knew the lovely british boyband."

"Well it's lovely to meet our friends' friends," Liam smiled.

"They aren't exactly our-" Alice started to say before Rebecca cut her off.

"Looks like someone forgot to throw up their food today."

I could feel the whole place go silent. It was me who had to make the next move. I was about to get up when Liam grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down.

"Anyways," Rebecca's sister, Yasmin rolled her eyes at me. "Can we get a picture with you guys? We absolutely adore you."

"Of course! We love taking photos with the fans. Right lads?" Harry smiled.

"Right," Niall retaliated.

They all started to get up from the booth. Alice and I got up as well in order for Liam to get out.

"Don't do anything drastic," Liam gently squeezed my arm.

I looked at him in shock as he and the boys ignored the fact that these girls were bullies and just humiliated Alice.

Alice walked silently to the bathroom. As i followed her, I could hear one of the boys call a waitress over to take the photo.

"You okay?" I asked locking the bathroom door.

"Do I look okay?!" Alice started crying, taking off her earrings. "I'm gonna go out there and beat their asses!"

"Are you seriously stooping down to their level? It isn't worth it." I responded pushing her from the door.

"Are you taking their side?! Seriously?!" She yelled even louder.

I covered my eyes. "Stop yelling! You know I hate when people yell at me!"

She started to calm down and after a few seconds of silence smiled weakly. "I'm ruining my damn mascara for them."

I chuckled looking down at the floor.

"Hey," she lifted my head up. "I'm sorry for yelling. It's just embarrasing now that the guys probably know about my . . .problem."

I hugged her tightly.

"Now let's go before those girls start flirting with the guys and end up taking our seats."

I unlocked the door but I suddenly heard a loud shattering. Like glass.

I swung open the door and ran out. "What the hell-"

"Sorry about that," Louis looked at the three girls. "We tried to catch them in time."

I looked at Rebecca who was soaked with water. Or sprite. Either way I know it was our drinks.

"I slipped," the waitress blurted. "It's my fault."

Alice walked up to Cecelia and Rebecca who looked like they just came off a water slide. "Don't you just love karma?"

I started to laugh. I couldn't help but laugh.

The waitress looked at Louis and winked at him. "Here ya go," Lou pulled money out of his pocket, handing it to the waitress. "This should cover the mess."

"And sorry about the spill girls," Liam smiled apologetically. "Honest mistake."

The boys signaled me saying that it was time to go. "Well I'd hate to be rude...but LATER LOSERS!" I grabbed Alice's hand and sped walked out of the iHop.

So much for a nice lunch with the boys.

Author's Note: So yay to new chapter. If you guys feel like Lou isn't sassy enough or something like that, just let me know in the comments. Really trying to get the boys' personalities down pack. And if there's something you really want to see, put it in the comment section below.
