Bad Meets Good

Audrey was the good girl. She was 16. She made good grades, played sports, and was popular. Her dad died when she was 3, so she lived with her mom. All in all, she was happy with her life. Harry, on the other hand, was the bad boy. He was 18. He could care less about his grades, you didn't see him much, and he had his own small group of friends that stayed in trouble. They wouldn't get along, right?

5. Chapter 5

While I was walking to the end of my driveway, I heard someone walking behind me, but I couldn't see who it was because it was dark.  "Don't try to stop me. It wont work," I said. "I'm not going to try to stop you, but I'm not letting you go alone," I heard a deep voice say. It was just Harry.  "But then my mom will blame you for me leaving, and she won't let us see each other again. We were just starting to get close," I said.  "We'll always be close," he said taking me by the hand.

"Are you cold?" he asked after about 15 minutes of walking.  "No, I'm fine," I said lying.  "No you're not, you're shivering," he said throwing his jacket over my shoulders. We kept walking and he had his arm wrapped around my waist. I pulled out my phone to check the time. I had 8 missed calls from my mom and one text from Sam. I opened the text.

'Where are you and Harry? You're mom's worried sick about you.'

'Well my 'mom' should have thought about that. I'll tell you later. Just tell her I'm fine, but I'm not coming home.'

'Okay I will. Do you have a place to stay?

'No but we'll find somewhere.'

'Stay at my house.'

'We're like a 45 minute drive away from your house.'

'It's fine. I'm bored anyway. Call me and give me directions."

I called her and gave her directions. "Sam will be here in like 45 minutes." I said to him.  "Okay," he said. We were sitting on a bench on the side of the road. It was quiet then Harry said something.   "Look Audrey, I really like you a lot. Do you wanna go out with me?" he asked.  I felt my cheeks turn red. "I would love to go out with you," I said smiling. We talked for the rest of the time until Sam showed up.

When we got to Sam's house, we were all tired so we went to bed. Harry and I shared the spare bedroom. I put on a pair of Sam's black sweats and a grey t-shirt. Harry put on a pair of her dad's shorts, and he didn't wear a shirt. I walked in the room, and he was already half asleep in bed. I crawled in the bed and threw the blankets over me. Harry and I were facing each other, and he moved closer to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight babe," he said. "Goodnight," I said with a smile. And with that, we fell asleep.
