Scurrilous Stories

"I-It can't be..." she stuttered, stepping back and dropping the black shotgun that was in her hand.
"I-I didn't know it was her love. Please..." he coughed out, crying.
"You killed her!" she screamed, breaking down and collapsing on her knees.
"Baby please. I love you." he said, as she looked up.
There was a brief silence, before a cough was heard.
"I love you too." she cried out, burying her head in her hands.

Ruling Reputation

Sunday flashed by like a blur and Nadine Halliday was already on her way to school on Monday morning.

Today was the day she had to make her decision, whether or not she would go with her father to New York.

She thought about it a lot on Sunday, after the time she visited Thomas. He was in so much pain, and couldn’t open his left eye.

The doctors say he may never be able to see out of that eye again, which is understandable. He wasn’t attending school today, as a matter of fact, not for the rest of the week. The bandage around his arm was for his dislocated shoulder, Nadine found out earlier yesterday.

As soon as Nadine walked through the school gates, she was again hassled by not Justin, but Levi.

She hasn’t seen him for a while because apparently he was in England visiting his grandma, who was really sick.

“Hey beautiful.’ Levi said, wrapping his arms around Nadine’s waist and pushing her back into a locker.

“Miss me?” he asked, his minty breath hitting her face.

“Get lost Levi!” Nadine huffed, pushing him away with her hands.

“Come on baby, I know you wanna.” Levi said, as his best friend Ryan Butler followed close behind him.

“Just leave me alone.” she shrieked, as he came up behind her and squeezed her ass.

“You heard her, Leave. Her. Alone.” Nadine heard this low raspy rumble, making Levi step away from Nadine.

“What are you going to do about it freak boy?” Levi cockily stated, cracking his knuckles.

“Did you really just ask me that?” Justin said, emitting a dark chuckle.

Nadine stepped towards Justin, and put her hand on his chest.

“He’s not worth it Justin.” She whispered, as she grabbed his hand and led him towards their English classroom.

“What was that for?!” Nadine shrieked, throwing her hands up above her head.

“He wouldn’t leave you alone, so I stepped in.” Justin shrugged, leaning against the wall.

“Well you caused a scene and another rumor probably.”

“I don’t care.” Justin huffed, furrowing his eyebrows.

“But I do! Those Elrod twins were most likely in that crowd that was watching you pick a fight.” Nadine accused, stabbing Justin in the chest with her index finger.

“Look I’m sorry your reputation means so much to you.” Justin said, shaking his head.

Nadine had a stressful week, and with Justin and Levi, it just made her even more stressed.

“You know what; I'm going to leave with my dad.” She mumbled more to herself, as she turned on her heels and walked away from Justin.

“What do you mean ‘leave with you dad’?” Justin asked, grabbing a hold of her wrist and turning her around.

“Why do you care?” Nadine spat, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Because you know I love you.” Justin said, love in his eyes.

Nadine rolled her eyes and tossed her hair over her shoulder.

“Well if you must know, my dad got a promotion in New York and I had a choice of whether or whether not to go with him.”

Justin’s heart stopped.

How had he not heard of this?

After all, he did look through the windows of her house and listened to the majority of conversations she had with her dad and her friends.

Yes, it was stalker-ish, but he couldn't help it.

“You can’t go.” Justin said, shaking his head furiously.

“Um excuse me?” Nadine said, crossing her arms over her chest.

“You. Cant. Go.” He repeated, clenching his teeth.

“Well, I didn’t know I had someone that made decisions for me.” Nadine said with attitude.

She didn’t know where this sudden outburst of confidence came from, but she liked it.

“I love you. And if you leave me I will die.” Justin said, being literal.

Werewolves live off the touch of their mate; it was what Justin craved to do all the time.

“Well that’s your problem.” Nadine said, not taking his comment seriously.

Well who would?

Justin growled, his eyes turning red. Nadine gasped, and turned on her heels, freaked by the look on his face. Especially the color of his eyes. It was unnatural.

She rushed into her Social Studies classroom, room 14, and sat next to Rachael.

“Hey, you look like you’ve just seen a ghost.” Rachael said, looking at Nadine’s unnaturally pale face, and chuckling slightly.

“N-no, I'm fine.” Nadine said, loosening up in her seat and exhaling a loud sigh.

Nadine didn’t realize, but there was a loud murmuring from the students in class.

The Elrod twins were sitting in their usual seat at the back of the classroom, and they both had their usual matching pink sweaters on.

Louise was tapping her magenta colored manicured nails on the desk, whispering to Loretta while looking at Nadine.

Nadine, feeling their stares at the back of her head, turned around slowly. She faced the twin’s dark brown eyes and saw the smirks on their glossed lips.

“Was freak boy jelly?” Louisa said, Nadine turning her head side to side after hearing continuous snickering.

“What are you talking about?” Nadine asked which was the first time she did anything of the sort. Nadine never talked to the Elrod twins, or responded to their rumors and comments. But she felt the need to now.

“We saw how freak boy defended you in the hallway.” Louisa said.

“And we see how he clings onto you like some lost puppy.” Loretta added.

“Are you dating freak boy?” Louisa innocently pouted which caused more snickering.

“Ah, no.” Nadine replied said, rolling my eyes and turning around.

Nadine felt a note being chucked at my head and she turned around and picked it up. In curly neat writing ‘FREAK GIRL’ was written on the paper.

Justin Bieber walked towards the office and into the principal’s office for the third time this week.

“Yes Mrs. Winston?” he asked bluntly.

“Sit down Justin.” She said, as he dragged a chair that was tucked underneath the table and sat on it, intertwining his fingers in his lap.

“Now, we heard that you threatened Levi Raines, saying that you would beat him up?” Mrs. Winston said questionably, tapping the top of her desk with her fingernails.

“Huh? I did nothing of the sort.” Justin said, stating the truth.

“Well Mr. Raines came into my office and told me that. Now I'm not saying your side of the story isn’t important, but you have a past of threatening people Justin.” The principal said, shaking her head.

“This is ridiculous.” Justin mumbled, pushing the chair back with the backs of his knees.

“Where do you think your going Mr. Bieber?” Mrs. Wilson said angrily, as Justin walked to the door.

“Somewhere away from you. You know, you always believe everyone else, but me. And cut the bullsh*t because when you say my side of the story is important, because is f*cking obvious you're lying. To you, it’s not f*cking important. To anyone, matter-of-factly” Justin said, not sure if his words got jumbled up or not.

Before Mrs. Wilson could stop him, Justin was already outside, with his sharp teeth protruding into his bottom lip and his eyes becoming flaming red.

He was beyond angry, that no one ever cared about what he had to say.

All his life, he’s been a mistake, a stuff up.

Always getting into trouble and making the wrong decisions.

His mate even thought he was an obsessive freak.

And the only way to let out all his stress and anger is to take it out on innocent beings.
