Scurrilous Stories

"I-It can't be..." she stuttered, stepping back and dropping the black shotgun that was in her hand.
"I-I didn't know it was her love. Please..." he coughed out, crying.
"You killed her!" she screamed, breaking down and collapsing on her knees.
"Baby please. I love you." he said, as she looked up.
There was a brief silence, before a cough was heard.
"I love you too." she cried out, burying her head in her hands.

Genuine Genius

(Not edited)

Justin Bieber stared into the brown eyes of Nadine, and smiled widely.

“Hey, Nadine.” Justin said, pulling her up. She rubbed her head and groaned slightly, looking up at Justin.

“Are you ok?” Justin asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

“I’m fine Justin, thank you.” Nadine replied, before coughing awkwardly.

“Is that my sweater?” Justin asked, with a slight smirk on his face.

Justin caught sight of the bright pink hue that spread across the tanned skin on her cheeks and couldn’t help but smile more.

“Uhmm, it…. yeah.” Nadine sighed, intertwining her fingers behind her back.

“Hey, that’s adorable.” Justin said, winking at her.

She blushed some more and Justin chuckled, taking her hand from behind her back and placing it in his.

“Are you going to math first today?” Justin asked, looking at her.

“Yeah, I am.” Nadine said, making Justin smile as he led her towards the class.

“Oh Justin, can we stop by my locker? I need my books.” Nadine smiled, gesturing to one of the peach lockers in the hallway.

“Oh yeah, sure.” Justin replied, as Nadine led him by the hand.

‘I can’t believe she’s still holding my hand.’ Justin thought, blushing slightly.

When Nadine let go of his hand when she reached her locker, a wave of emptiness gushed over Justin, and he whined slightly.

Nadine looked over at him, for making that strange noise, but shook it off and grabbed a hold of his hand again.

“Mmm, I knew something was going on there.” Louise Elrod sneered, raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms over her chest.

Justin shook his head and took the lead, guiding Nadine through the pupils of the school with great speed.

When they reached the classroom, which was under three seconds, Nadine was out of breath.

“How did you run so fast?” she asked, placing a hand on her chest.

“I don’t know, I guess I just… did?” Justin replied, laughing slightly.

‘If only she knew.’

“Oh ok.” Nadine replied suspiciously, placing her books on the desk and taking her backpack off and placing it underneath her chair.

Justin did the same and looked over at Nadine, placing his chin on his hand.

Nadine looked over at Justin from the corner of her eye and smiled slightly.

Nadine Halliday watched as the teacher, Mr. Burkins, explained the math sums on the board with his strong German accent.

“Now, Justin, would you like to answer this sum?” Mr. Burkins asked Justin, who merely shrugged.

“alright.” He snarled, getting up from his chair and walking up to the front of the classroom.

[ You can skip the sum, it's not that important ]

“Let A1776 be the set { 1, 1/2, 1/3, ..., 1/1776 }Remove any two elements, say a and b, from A1776, and replace them with the single number ab+a+b to form set A1775. Continue in this manner, until you have performed 1775 such operations, to form set A1, which contains a single element. What is this element?” Mr. Burkins asked, as I looked at the board gob-smacked.

“The answer is 1776.” Justin replied, simply, but darkly, shrugging his shoulders again.

“Explain it to me, Mr. Bieber.” Mr. Burkins threatened, clearly astounded by Justin’s answer.

“Define an operation a**b = ab+a+b. Clearly ** is commutative, because a**b = ab+a+b = ba+b+a = b**a. What's not so obvious is that ** is associative, at least until you realize that a**b = (a+1)(b+1)-1. Then (a**b)**c = ((a+1)(b+1))(c+1)-1 = (a+1)((b+1)(c+1))-1 = a**(b**c). Since ** is associative and commutative, the 1775 operations can be performed in any order, using each of the 1775 operands, and the result will be the same. The number we always arrive at after performing 1775 operations is 1**(1/2)**(1/3)** ... **(1/1776), which is (2/1)(3/2)(4/3)...(1777/1776)-1, which is equal to 1777-1 = 1776 after everything else cancels.” Justin said, smirking at the teacher, as Mr. Burkins sat there with his mouth wide open.

Nadine sat there, looking at Justin with a big smile on her face.

He was a genius.

He never appeared so in class, with his quiet ways and his abusive manner, but seeing this made Nadine like him even more.

‘I don’t like him at all.’ Nadine thought, shaking her head slightly.

Before she knew it, Justin was sitting back beside her, sending her another wink.

“Justin what have I told you about using your genius ability in front of your classmates.” Jeremy Bieber said, pacing back and forth in front of Justin who was sitting on the leather couch cross-legged.

“You’ve said nothing about using the genius ability thingy. And plus, Burkins was annoying me, with that stupid know-it-all smirk on his face.” Justin said, crossing his arms over his chest with a pout on his lips.

“don’t give me that look Justin,” Jeremy threatened, pointing an accusing finger at his son, “I’ve told you on numerous occasions that you shouldn’t be using that ability at school, as long as the ability to run at extreme speed and of course, shirting into a wolf.” Jeremy said, shaking his head.

Justin bit his tongue as he knew he’s disobeyed all those not-to-dos.

“Yeah, of course. Alright dad.” Justin said, standing up and walking to his bedroom.

[ These are some pictures of Justin and Nadine, enjoy :) ]

[ My personal favorite is the forth one :) ]
