Take Me Away

Brielle Kidd always wanted to be an actress. Travelling from her hometown close to Paris, to London to persue multiple auditions, Brielle suddenly realised that her acting career would never take off. Her agent and boyfriend, Bradley has a massive surprise for her back in Paris.

Certain steps she takes will eventually lead her to finding out the truth of her agent. And certain accidents lead her to Harry Styles' heart.

7. Harry

Harry's P.O.V

It's been three weeks since I saw Brielle in person. We've called each other nearly every day. She tells me about her day, then I tell her about mine. Louis pushes that we are in a relationship, but I disagree. It's more like a really great friendship.

It was 2pm when I settled into my hotel room in Metz, France. It was our last few days in France before we head back to England for Christmas. The screaming fans outside made me smile. It was amazing how they would stay out in the cold just to try to get a glimpse of us. The T.V was turned on, and I flipped through the channels. Nothing great was on, so I headed out to the balcony. It was nearly Christmas, and the snow was falling. I leaned on the balcony and looked down. A massive crowd of people had gathered beneath my room. I waved at them, and then pulled my jacket closer. They all screamed more. I sighed, the cold air filling my lungs, and headed back inside, unlocking my phone in the process. I scrolled through my contacts and brought up Brielle's number. I called it, and held the phone to my ear. On the third ring, she answered.

"Hey," I said immediately, rubbing my eyes.

"Hi," she responded. "How was your day?"

"If you exclude basically anything I did today, okay." I didn't lie to her. Lately nothing seemed to interest me any more. From hanging out with Niall and Zayn, to sitting down and reading a good book. I somehow found a way to make anything I enjoyed into a task I didn't want to do. "When will I see you again?"

Brielle sighed. "You've seemed sad this past week. What's wrong?"

"When will I see you again?" I repeated. I didn't want to go into this.

"Harry, you dumb ass. Tell me what's wrong." she demanded.

"I will tell you when I need to. Now answer my question."

She sighed. Most of our conversations involved lots of talking on her behalf. I just listened. "Well today, Noelle and I went Christmas shopping for Mom, and I got her some birthday presents. Her birthday is the day before Christmas." She took a big breath. "Then Noelle asked for me to ring you so she could ask you to come to her birthday party. I didn't let her though, I knew you had a photo shoot." I didn't know what to say, so Brielle just continued. "You know you are welcome for her birthday, and for Christmas. It's no big deal. It would make Noelle's life if you could attend. Mom wants to meet you, too."

I smiled. "I don't know... I mean wouldn't you want to enjoy having a Christmas with your family?"

Brielle laughed loudly. "I've had many, many Christmases with them before. You are coming, Mr Styles."

I laughed as well. "Alright, alright. I'll come. We leave Metz on the 22nd. I could be there by late 22nd."

"Deal," she responded. "Oh, and um, I got you a Christmas gift."

My eyes widened. "You shouldn't have."

"No really. It's nothing flash or anything, I'm not rich. I just saw it and I was going to send it to you. But now that you're coming down..."

"God, you're amazing Brielle. I gotta go. I'll see you in two days."

"Bye Harry."

I've been driving non-stop for six hours. I had directions to her house, and I was on her street. It was hard to slip past the fans and the paparazzi, but I some how lost them going past Paris. Her house was the fourth one down. I could see her rental car on her driveway. My stomach flipped. I parked outside, and walked up to her front door with my backpack on. I knocked three times. I heard yelling and shuffling and then finally I heard the door being unlocked. It swung open, and before me stood a shorter version of Brielle. She looked surprised. She let out a short scream, then covered her mouth. I heard more footsteps and Brielle rounded the corner, stopping to put a hand on her sisters shoulders.

"You must be Noelle." I laughed.

I was invited inside into the lounge room. Brielle's mother sat on one of the two large couches with Noelle, and Brielle sat on the other couch with me. Her mom was smiling.

"Thank you so much for coming, Harry. You're welcome to stay as long as you want," her mom said.

I nodded a thanks, and out of my back pocket, I produced a small box. Inside was a small chain necklace with a letter 'N' and a ruby on it. I winked at Noelle. I handed her the box and she grinned. "It's an early birthday gift." She opened it and her mouth hung open.

"Thank you so much!" Noelle squealed. "Oh my God, thank you!"

"It's no problem."

Brielle stood up, smiling. It was getting into the late afternoon, so she took me to the backyard and sat on the grass. The garden was beautiful, with pockets of roses of all colors. I sat down next to her, and took off my bag. The sun was setting.

"What's wrong with you, Harry?" she asked. I groaned. "No, you have to tell me. Please."

I shook my head. "It's nothing too big, really."

"God damn it, Harry." She turned to me, her eyes pleading.

I explained it to her, how I didn't find things very interesting any more. "The day you ran into me at the airport, and took my bags, was the..." I swallowed thickly, feeling tears prickling at my eyes. I took a deep breath, and turned my head to look up. "Was the day I was going to kill myself."
