Be My Eyes - Larry Stylinson AU -

Being "visually impaired" was never a hassle for the young man named Harry Styles. He went to school and came back home, no big deal. Occasionally he would mess up a bit by walking into the girl's bathroom instead of the men's, but everyone understood. He wasn't allowed a guide, so he used the "stick" that didn't exactly have a pair of eyes to see with.

With college just around the corner, literally, Harry finds his new surroundings harder to imagine. His classes were far apart, making speed a must, and the area was twice as large as his high school back in Holmes Chapel. Although he's known as the "scary guy who never makes eye contact", Harry has his reasons - not that anyone really wanted to try to find them out.

But one particular person did... a curious 21 year old who had his eyes set on the younger boy since he stepped foot on the campus. A lad by the name of Louis Tomlinson.

1. Be My Eyes

7:00 p.m. Just like I said :)

- Harry Styles-

My mother used to tell me that looks weren't everything; she used to say how personality was always the thing that would win me over. Of course, I knew she was right - I knew from the very start. She used to tell me all these upsides to being a person like me, a person that was "visually impaired". Although I knew I wasn't exactly impaired, I got by perfectly fine without the use of those rotten sticks with glass lenses, also known as glasses.

School was never the best for me; people often said that I was scary looking due to my lack of eye contact. I never quite understood how they were scared because of that of all things. However, when my mother died, not only were people scared, they became overly-sympathetic because of my situation. If there even was a situation that is.

Often times I was glad that I would never see the face of my enemies nor would I have to imagine them because no one would give me the description of them. It isn't like I've always been like this, but I was so young it could count as being born with such a problem. Sometimes I do grow tired of being in my shoes, I wanted someone to look at me and tell me what I was possibly looking at. I wanted them to tell me what that tree looked like, what I was wearing, where I was going, if I was even in the men's bathroom or not, or you know just a simple "look out there's someone in front of you" would be nice.

But who would do such a thing? Who would be willing to be my eyes for me? What would someone ,who was completely capable of seeing the light of day and they're significant other, want to be doing explaining what a damned pebble looks like?

If your answers were:

1. No one.

2. No one.

3. Absolutely nothing.

Then you answered all the questions correctly.

After all, nobody wants to be around the blind guy.
