1. Intro

I must escape this place; I NEED to escape this place.

It all started when I was in Preschool.

"Mommy," I giggled when she pulled my hair in a pony-tail for the first day of Preschool. She smiled and kissed the top of my head, mumbling that I looked beautiful. This was a big step for me; leaving my mom for the first time for half a day. I was nervous, but eager to make friends, and meet my teacher, and learn new things. She picked me up and put me into my car seat and started the car. I played with my Barbie doll as we drove to the school. When we arrived, a saw a boy my age on the curb, crying. He had black, shaggy hair, and bright blue eyes.

I got out of my car seat, said goodbye to my mommy, and ran to him, sitting down.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"I don't like it here. Some girl named Jess ruined my picture and broke my crayon."

"C'mon," I said, gently taking his hand and walking inside.

There was a girl with long, blonde hair, ruining everyone's drawings and paintings and playdough sculptures. I walked up to her with the boy.

"Oh I see the little brat is back with a little friend," she said.

Her name-tag read "Jess".

"Jess, stop. Being rude isn't how you make friends."

As soon as she opened her mouth, the bell for recess rang and me and the boy ran out, as well as other little kids. Outside, kids were jump-roping, and playing tag and basketball. I walked next to the boy.

"I never told you my name. My name is Colton, what's yours?" he said.

"Willow," I said smiling.
Then, Jess walked over and pulled my hair. I whined and punched her nose as Colton held her back from me.

"You better watch your mouth!" she yelled, squirming in Colton's grip.

I rolled my eyes and had Colton let her go, with blood all over her face. Her nose was bleeding.

Colton and I walked away, both thinking the same thing; that we'd be bestfriends.
