1. The poem

Rushing waves,
Crashing hard upon the sand,
The blood I left behind,
Wash far from the land.

The mist settles on my head,
It's light touch cools the heat,
A sweet and calming aura,
From my head to my feet.

As the waves touch the beach,
And the blood clears from the shore,
The mist seals my cuts,
And I'm at peace with the cool waters once more.
