Movella Reviews

Hello everybody! This is a completely unoriginal idea but here I am, starting a movella review report. I can't review anything marked as red (not old enough) but I can read over anything marked green or yellow. I would prefer not to have fan-fics about 1D or Justin Bieber, but if it absolutely desperate, I would be more than happy to review it. Just leave the name of your book in the comments below and I will review them ASAP. :)

4. The Report- By Annie G.

WOW. I absolutely loved this piece of writing.

First off, it was like nothing I had ever seen before. The plot was completely original and the layout of the story was extremely creative. Just these two factors alone automatically got me hooked on Annie's story. In the chapter January 2 2014, I loved the transcript and constantly found myself smiling in it yet very intrigued. This is a very scientific piece however I marvel over the fact that Annie has been able to write it so well and keep the reader intrigued. In the first transcript, a note is made about boredom. The 'tone' of this report just got me laughing as it seemed the scientists were taking everything so seriously even though it was a common situation in which a teenager is simply bored. Furthermore, I love the January 24 2014 transcript for similar reasons as I love Eliza's personality. She simply blurts out what she thinks (for example "You look strange.") and doesn't care about other people's reactions. I really like this kind of character as I think it is a very new and refreshing concept.

Secondly, I love how Eliza's sleeping patterns always change however the eating patterns stay the same. Annie has managed to write a very scientific piece with an underlying tone of humor which I fully appreciate. The story line is fantastic and I love the ending which is simply a post card written to the man who kidnapped her but showed her the outside world. This movella seems to have a really good meaning to it and really gets the reader pondering over if scientific experiments in people are really that good.

I seriously think that Annie has a future career as a successful journalist, as her mini-news reports are professional yet engaging. The only thing that I could ever think of as a target is to write more.

I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it. Keep it up, Annie!
