Movella Reviews

Hello everybody! This is a completely unoriginal idea but here I am, starting a movella review report. I can't review anything marked as red (not old enough) but I can read over anything marked green or yellow. I would prefer not to have fan-fics about 1D or Justin Bieber, but if it absolutely desperate, I would be more than happy to review it. Just leave the name of your book in the comments below and I will review them ASAP. :)

8. Breaking the Legacy- LittleMsHollywood

If there was an award for the wittiest story on Movellas, it would go to LittleMsHollywood. 'Breaking the Legacy' is by far the smartest anti-fanfiction movella I have ever read, but not only is it smart, it gets the point across.

Before I even start commenting in the story, I want to talk about the blurb. Even before you start reading the actual story, you are gripped into it by the simple yet intriguing summary. As you read it, you start to smile, thinking 'Wow, this author has one heck of an imagination.' I love reading blurbs like LittleMsHollywood's because they are original and fresh and not one person can tell me that they don't like that.

Chapter one, of course, does all the things a chapter should do. It made me laugh, fear, smile and gasp in the course of 10 minutes- an author that can do that certainly has some extraordinary talent! As I read, LittleMsHollywood feeds the reader little bits of information about the planets and their ways of life- it is not too much that you get bored but just enough to make you want more but to also understand what is going on. Furthermore, the description is phenomenal. I am one for flowery writing, and boy, this author has nailed it. "With the sky still painted colors of an orangey-pink from sunset, the alignment seemed gentle." I mean, this is one sentence but the author has managed flawlessly to paint a perfect scene inside my head, making me want to read more.

Secondly, this story is funny to read. I mean, I LOVE how LittleMsHollywood talks about such a light (or maybe it is heavy) topic by using knights in shining armor and war. It made me smile the WHOLE time, which really got me into this particular Movella. Also, I really enjoyed how the author laid out her work, there were nice little pictures along the way, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

LittleMsHollywood has done an amazing job and I sincerely hope I can soon read more!

Well done, LittleMsHollywood, this is one of your best pieces yet, in my eyes!
