A Talk With a Friend

Well, the reason I wrote this is because, just like my previous movella, was it was an assignment for my english 12 class. Again, its has the same characters like "The Gossip". The assignment was to write a story like the stories in The Canterbury Tales - it has to have a prologue, tale and a moral. My story is about Perrie, who is having a hard time with girls in her colorguard gossiping, and talking bad about her, so her friend, Eleanor, tells her a story with a similar plot to her problem to show her what she could do to stop the bratty girls, and such.

I hope you guys enjoy it and I hope you understand the moral of the story! Please comment below on any sugestions that could help my story come along better!!

Thanks everyone! I love you guys!!! - Katie

2. Eleanor Begins Her Story

Once upon a time, there was a girl, her name was Danielle. She was a wonderful person, and loved to be around people. She had lots of friends, but not all of them are what she thinks they are. Just like everyone else, she had a couple great friends, but the rest weren’t up to par. Danielle was treated not so hotly. These other friends she had got mad at her for no reason that was apparent to her. She never understood why they got mad at her, so she would seclude herself at times, so she wouldn’t have to be around them.

Danielle would try to figure out what was going on, but she tended to think that they were going through a rough patch with something and took it out on her, so she wouldn’t say anything about it. Danielle wouldn’t talk about it to almost no one. She didn’t like to talk about her problems; she prefers to talk about someone’s problems because she thought it was easier to deal with than her own.

Danielle’s friends never knew what she felt about this, she never told them, and they never asked. Her closest friends knew something was up, but they couldn’t figure it out. They had thought about asking but never did. She was pretty sad about her friends. Danielle couldn’t figure out anything. She didn’t understand how people could be so mean sometimes, or how she could feel secluded.
