18. Spinning

I pushed the heavy door shut and threw myself on the couch. I didn't feel like moving. My body ached all over. it wasn't just my head anymore. I stood up and slowly made my way over to the kitchen area. I popped open the bottle of Asprin. As I held it in my hands, I debated on whether or not to take two. Usually, I would only take one, but the way I was feeling, I wanted to take the whole bottle. I poured out two and grabbed a bottled water out of the fridge. As I swallowed the pills, they felt heavy against my throat. I walked back to the couch and lied down. My head pounded, and my stomach growled. I wasn't hungry, even though I hadn't eaten at all that day. In fact, I felt rather nauseous. But I wasn't going to let anyone know. We had so much to do. Everyone was working their tail off and I was not going to be the weak-link.
I wonder how Niall was doing. After we got to the hotel, he went straight to Harry's suite. I was extremely nervous and wishing I had gone. I felt anxious, and constantly checking my phone for a message from Niall. However, I was glad it was happening. Niall and I could be friends again, at least. I bit my lip. I knew I wanted to be more than that, but I didn't want to rush into things.  I heard the door open and shut behind me. I stretched my neck to see Lizzie and Jessie, tons of shopping backs in hand.
"I love this extra cash!" Jessie giggled to herself, setting down her many bags. She pulled out a piece of jewelry and admired it.
"Tyler, I hope you had a better day than I did." Lizzie called out to me. I wanted to respond, but I didn't feel as if I didn't have enough energy.
"Tyler?" Lizzie called again.
"I'm . . . here." I said. Every sound hurt my head. I heard footsteps approach followed by a large gasp.
"Hon, you're so pale!" Lizzie gasped with large eyes. She looked frightened.
"I feel fine!" I whispered, getting up.
All at one the room started spinning. I tried to stay as still as I could, but it was no use. I was still spinning. I felt sharp pains in my chest. I felt as if someone was crushing my lungs making it hard to breathe. I felt my self sway from side to side.
"Help! Help me!" I wanted to scream. But nothing came out. Suddenly, the floor wasn't under me anymore.

And that was it.

"Tyler!" I heard Liz scream. I turned my head in that direction an raced over to the living area to find her holding an unconscious Tyler in her arms.
"What happ-
"Call for an ambulance!" Liz commanded me. I nodded and went back to find my phone. I jogged over to the table where my black, leather purse sat. While searching through my purse, someone knocked on the door. Still going through the purse, I opened the door to reveal Niall. Disappointment was painted across his face, and he had his hands shoved in his pockets.
"Is Tyler here?" He asked.
"Actually, we need you help." I told him. He gave me a look of confusion.
"NIALL GET IN HERE!" Liz yelled. Niall's eyes got wide as he rushed in to see what was the matter. He gasped as well when he saw Tyler.
"What happened?" He questioned, rushing to Tyler's side. He looked so worried, so focused on her.
"She fainted," Liz explained, "We need to get her to the hospital NOW!"
Well, it'll be quicker if we get her to the E.R. our selves," Niall suggested. He took Tyler in his arms and stood up.
We ran down the hall, in a rush. I looked back at Liz. She wasn't holding anything back. She had tears running down her cheeks. Faces of those we passed were blurred. However, one of them grabbed my shoulder to stop me. Zayn had his hand on my shoulder and Liam looked at me terrified.
"What's going on?" Zayn asked. My eyes darted at the figures running away from me.
"It's Tyler," I said, running off. I heard two footsteps following behind me. We caught up with Niall and Liz and ran down the stairs. We went out a back door and got into a car. I got in the driver's seat and drove to the hospital. AS I drove, there was only silence.
"Is somebody going to call Harry?" I finally asked.
"I did," Niall said, hanging up his phone, "Seven times."
"I'll try," Liam spoke. Even though he just said it out loud, I knew he was talking to everyone but me. Things were still awkward between us. We hadn't spoken in a long time. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, keeping my eyes on the road.  By the time we got to the hospital, Harry had answered none of the countless calls sent to him.
"I'll call Louis, and tell him to get Harry." Zayn said. Niall rushed out with Tyler and went into the hospital. He was soon followed by Liz. Liam, Zayn and I parked the car.  As I turned into the parking lot, I spotted a swarm of reporters coming our way. I turned the other way, and pulled out of there. I knew that we shouldn't go in. If we got out of the car, it would only mean more drama with the press and Tyler didn't need that right now. She also didn't need a bunch of people freaking out in the hallway. Liam and Zayn seemed to agree with me because they didn't say anything as I pulled out onto the road. I wasn't a religious person, but I lost track of how many conversations I had with God that day.

I pushed past the reported on my way out of the hotel with Louis trailing along. Despite the dark shades I was wearing, I still got a headache from all of the flashes. They all seemed to be asking the same question all at once: Is Tyler ok?
That was the thing: I didn't know.
I was basically driving myself insane think of the worst possible outcomes. I walked to the car Louis had left waiting, and jumped in the back seat. Louis soon followed and we drove away.
This wasn't fair. None of this was fair. First Niall wants to take her away from me and now God does too? Lizzie and Jessie also took her away. It wasn't exactly their faults but Tyler spent most of her time with them. Management promised to bring us closer but when in reality, they only took her away.
When we pulled up to the hospital, it looked like everyone had gotten the memo. Reporters waited out front, cameras at the ready. I didn't hesitate though. I jumped out of the car and jogged into the building, ignoring the shouts I got from the reporters. I ran past the front desk and into the E.R. waiting room around the corner. There, sat LIz and Niall.
Liz had her arms folded and kept her head down. Her eyes were stained red and she had a few strands of her blonde hair tucked behind her ear. However, every time she sniffed, it would fall out. But she would put it right back behind her ear. Niall had his elbow on his knees, and had his face in his hands. I noticed a red tint to his eyes as well. He looked over at me and put his arms down and sat up straight.
"Where's Tyler?" I asked Liz, dropping my eyes from Niall's. He shook his head, and went back into his original position.
"I don't know," Liz mumbled, "They took her away." I went up to the counter. The woman sitting was a bit large and had a darker complexion.  She had her black hair in a pony tail, and wore heavy make up.
"Can I help you?" She asked with a deeper voice. As soon as she spoke, I could smell her last cigarette.
"My sister, Tyler, came in a little bit ago, and I want to know where she is." I explained.
"Well, you're going to have to wait for a doctor," She told me, giving no interest, "Sorry."
I stormed back to a seat next to Liz and sat down.
"Please God," I thought to myself, "Don't take her away."
