7. Don't Ask

"How did the interview go?" I asked Harry. We were almost to the hotel.

"Terrible!" Harry whined, "So many questions and people have been bugging me ALL day!" It seemed we all had the same symptoms. When Keegan and Nicole came home, they told us that the same thing happened to them at school. I knew this would happen, I just hoped that things would get better.

"I'm sorry." I sympathized.

"Eh," Harry shrugged as we pulled into the parking garage, "It will get better."

"How can you be so sure?" I asked, curious.

"Doesn't it always?" He looked at me for a moment before getting out of the car. We walked through the back way again and into the hotel. We went up to the suite and I threw my suitcase on the sofa. I was staying here for a week. Harry told me that management had some plans for me. Some plans that would help me support my family and lead to some new opportunities. So they needed me to stay a while. I got my work from school and packed my bag.

"So, which room do you want me to take?" I asked.

"Take the one on the left." He told me before he entered another room.

I picked up my suitcase and lugged it to the room and unpacked.

"Oh, the boys are coming over." Harry yelled at me from the kitchen.

"Oh, alright!" I shouted back.

The boys were super fun! They were really friendly and I got along with them really well. Niall was the one I really got along with. He seemed to like everything I liked.

"Harry!" A voice called from out side the door, "C'mon! I want some Cheetos!" I peaked out from my room.

"I don't have any Cheetos!" Harry yelled back.

"I know you're lying!" Another voice said. Harry opened the door, and Niall bursts through the door and into the kitchen.

"Where's the Cheetos?" Niall gasped in disbelief. I went back and continued to unpack.

"I told you, I didn't have Cheetos!" I heard Harry explain.

I laughed to myself and continued. I kept thinking of what "plans" management would have for me. Would I be able to earn some money for my family? Maybe my mom would finally get a divorce? My family could be somewhat functional. We wouldn't even need to go to public school. Well, maybe. That is, IF this was a good enough plan. I let out a huge sigh. Nothing could make this work out how I wanted. I just-

"Want some help?" I turned around to see Niall leaning against the doorframe.

"Oh, I just finished," I said hanging up my last shirt. Niall came over to me and gave me a hug. Gosh, he smelt nice.

"So what are we doing tonight?" I asked.

"It's game night!" Niall grinned.

"Harry, truth or dare?" Zayn asked, from across the table.

"Truth," Harry groaned. He voted against this game and was NOT happy when he was the only vote.

"Who was that blonde girl I saw you with last week?" Zayn questioned. The whole group "ooh"ed. Harry looked flushed.

"She's just a friend guys," He said, "A friend who just happens to be attractive!" The room was filled with laugh and giggles.

"Alright Harry, your turn!" Liam laughed.

"Tyler!" He called out my name. I was sitting at the table, catching up on some homework.

"I told you I'm not playing." I sang.

"Well I don't care!" He sang back, "Truth or Dare?"

"Do I have to?" I whined. I received all nods. "Truth," I sighed.

"Whimp," Niall coughed. I rolled my eyes and Harry continued.

"I'll go easy on you," he smiled, "First boyfriend: Name and something weird about him."

"Uh," I froze, "I changed my mind. I want dare."

"Too late!" Niall taunted, "Spill the beans."

"Er," I paused, "James, and he had two different sized feet."

"Woah!" Liam laughed, "That's not weird! That's cool!"

"I'm gonna go work on this in my room." I said, picking up my books. I wanted to get out of there before they started asking any questions. I reached for the handle and opened the door, putting the books on the desk. I sat down and just stared at my homework. I really didn't want to do this. I shrugged it off and just lied on the bed.

"Tyler?" A voice woke me up. There was someone at my door. I looked at the time. I had been asleep for 3 hours.

"Come in!" I yawned sitting up. Harry stepped in, and shut the door behind him.

"So, I'm sorry about the truth or dare thing," he apologized, "I could tell how nervous you were about that subject and I promise it won't happen again."

"It's fine," I smiled, "Besides, you didn't know."

"True," he said quietly, "I know I haven't been in your life much, but if you ever need to talk about anything, you can trust me."

I bit my lip. I knew I could trust Harry, the question was if I could talk about it. No one really knew the whole story. It would be nice getting everything out.

"Ok," I sighed, "It's about James." I then began to explain what happened with James and me. I made sure to include every detail. We talked for 2 hours, crying and laughing. By the time we were done, I felt better. I felt a weight being lifted from my shoulder.

"Well, I'm glad we talk about it," he smiled.

"Me too," I said surprised.

"But that guy is a complete arse." He admitted.

"I know." I giggled.

"Well, goodnight." He said walking out of the room.

"Night." I replied
