2. Hallucinating in the Planetarium...

Now that you know how 1) I fell out of a window/the start of my wizarding journey and 2) Met my best friend to this day, I think it’s time you know about another wizarding account. I was nine going on ten. Yes, the day of my tenth birthday… We decided to go to the Planetarium (like I said, weird child). Anyways, if you’ve ever been to a Planetarium then you know about the types of special effects they do. For those of you who haven’t then, they do the planets and stars, and then they also do lasers. Well, I really hate going over this but, McGonogall said I simply have to. So we were at the Planetarium…

“Mum, come on, we’re going to be late for the next show.” I complained. “Honey, we won’t be late it starts in ten minutes,” she tried. “Mum, we both know you have to get in no later than seven minutes before or we can’t get in until the next one.” I said dragging her to the door. “Zoe.” She said firmly. “I will not put up with this complaining. Ask me nicely and maybe we can go in… Just know the clock is ticking, nine minutes until the show starts.” She tapped her foot, while looking at her watch. “Fine,” I huffed, “Mum, may we please pretty please, with hot fudge, caramel, rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, bananas, nuts, with a cherry on top go in now?” I asked as nicely as an agitated person could. “Well, you just wasted one minute saying that, so we have one minute to get there… Race you!” she screamed, which could’ve gotten us kicked out. Honestly, my Mum is a big child herself, I think that’s where I get it from… “Ahaha! I win!” she shouted, once more. “Mum, pipe down you’ll get us kicked out… And besides you only won because 1) You got a ten second head start and 2) You’re like eight feet tall.” I explained. She’s actually six foot two inches, but that’s tall for a woman! I don’t get how I’m still five foot one inch, at fifteen! But my dad (wherever he is) was short, I think. He looks like it from the pictures I’ve seen. “Okay, whatever you say sore loser.” She said, now dragging me to the door. Here comes the Wizarding Account:

We were sitting in the front row (which took a lot of begging and bribing) and I noticed that my Mum had fallen asleep. So, I decided to go on a little, detour. I wandered over to where the light and sound boards were, I noticed no one was watching them so I went over. Thing is I’m pretty clumsy so, being me I fell, and messed them up pretty badly. As in the lights were flashing, lasers going maybe sixty miles per hour, and um planets maybe orbiting like one year two minutes. Whereas, in reality it should be seven. I just thought as a ten year old, ‘Nuts! I’m going to be in big trouble!’ then time seemed like it slowed down. Well, everything but me… And I saw lines and words guiding me telling me what to do. Like move this lever down two centimeters, or turn this knob three times around, with arrows showing me which one, or where. After the colorful words and arrows, stopped everything went back to normal. So, I went and sat down next to me Mum until it was over. I truly considered telling her, but she would’ve just rushed me to a Mental Hospital.

That day my suspicions of me being a witch just became stronger. Still I could never tell my Mum, she would just tell me “Don’t be silly Zoe, of course you’re not a witch… There’s NO. Such. Thing.” So I’ve kept this all to myself, all these years, even after I found out I was a witch. I’ve never actually told anybody about these, accounts. Well, nobody except maybe Scorpius and Ariana. Which they know not to ever tell my Mum anything of our, Wizardry. She hates the thing, the word, wizards, and witches. Actually, ever since I got my letter we’ve, grown apart. The one thing she’s always mumbling about though is how she doesn’t know how I came to be a witch. I’ve not one ounce of wizard blood in me, I say it’s because I use to practice the spells with a stick so much, Scorpius agrees. Ariana says maybe my dad was a wizard, but my argument is; why would he leave his witch daughter to grow up with a muggle. Also, wouldn’t McGonogall, or someone know who my father was! But I don’t let it bother me, I’m just glad that I am a witch… It was all I ever wanted as a child.
